Speaker 0 (00:00):
Ever feel like you're pushing hard.
You've got all the skills, allthe knowledge, but something's
holding you back.
It's almost like an invisiblehand on your shoulder.
My name is Lachlan Stewart, andtoday we're going to dive into
what that is and something thatmany people overlook.
Most men are looking for moredata, more strategies, the next
workshop to attend in order tohave that breakthrough, but
quite often the one thingholding many of you back is

(00:22):
what's going on up here.
You see, today I was meetingwith a gentleman, a highly
talented individual, who has somuch, I guess, opportunity and
success waiting for him, butthere was one thing that popped
up, one pattern that I continueto see and something that I've
experienced multiple times in myown life, and that was a
limiting belief, the thoughtsthat he had going on up here.
He was sharing, what he wantedto work towards and some of the

(00:44):
limiting beliefs.
When I asked him, I said, mate, what's stopped you achieving
this?
And he sat there for a moment.
He said this is really hard.
We're going deep early, butthings like I don't feel like
I'm worthy, what if I can'tsupport my family?
What if I do fail?
The most important thing torealize is one common for so
many of us, but two.
When you become aware of thatand you can acknowledge that,
you can then begin the processof change, which is what I want

(01:07):
to give you today the frameworkthat I use, or the playbook, in
order to help you go from whereyou are to break through those
limiting beliefs and startbuilding the life that you want
to build.
We're all wired to look outsideus because quite often, when
we're sold through marketing andyou may even think this about
this video, but I just want togive you a free solution,
something that has worked wellfor me we have to find things

(01:28):
outside of ourself in order toget a solution, when, quite
often, all we need to do is giveour little mind and our beliefs
a little bit of a shake up tobe able to be aware of the
things that are no longerserving us and to start finding
evidence around how we canreframe them to get the belief
that we want in order to moveforward to where we want to get
to.
And that's what we want to gothrough, and I want to give you
the ACRA playbook today.

(01:48):
So the framework goes a littlesomething like this A is you got
to acknowledge.
C we need to challenge, r weneed to reframe.
And A we need action tosolidify that new belief.
So how do we actually do this?
How do we shake BS approach?
In order to be able to do that,if you have handy with you or

(02:10):
if you have the opportunity, grab yourself a notepad out and
you can write this down, or ifyou go into the link in the
notes, there there will be alink to download this playbook
for free and you can go throughit in your own time.
So let's dive into theacknowledgement First.
As I was mentioning to myclient that was not even a
client, actually, it was aprospective client that the
first thing we need to do is tobe able to acknowledge those

(02:30):
limiting beliefs.
They have to be real.
So the moment that weacknowledge them, we give power
to them and they are staring usright in the face and quite
often many of us may think toourselves that's just lame, or I
know I shouldn't believe that, but that's what keeps coming up
for me, and it doesn't matter,in my opinion, whether you feel
it's significant or not, if it'ssomething that comes out of
your mouth and there is a littlebit of truth to it.
Let's look at reframing it andfinding evidence around, how you

(02:54):
can shift that and what youneed to reframe that to.
So the moment that you canacknowledge it is such a
powerful point.
So think to yourself what aresome of those beliefs that are
holding you back?
Things like I'm not good enough, I always fail.
What if I can't do that?
Well, nobody likes me.
The list can go on and be sounique to you as an individual.
So take a moment now to writedown all of those things, and it

(03:15):
doesn't matter how significantit feels.
Just give yourself a list andyou can look at them and then we
can start going.
Which ones are the real mainones that we need to work on
today?
That brings us onto the C inACRA, which is the challenge.
So once you've identified itand you've acknowledged it, now
we need to go.
When did I actually startbelieving this?

(03:36):
Is there evidence or is it true?
Or is it just something thatwhen it's bouncing around in my
head, it has more power than itreally should?
Is there any facts or is itjust based on an old story that
I've been telling myself for along time?
You've got to really challengeit and if you do have the pen
and notepad in front of you, something you can do is, now
that you've written down thoselimiting beliefs, you can just
put another column next to itand go.
What's the evidence?
Or when did I first start tobelieve this?

(03:57):
Do I believe this is true andyou can start going through and
start challenging it, which is areally powerful process.
And it leads us to the nextpart, which is the reframe.
Let's say, one of your limitingbeliefs is I'm not worthy of
success.
You have challenged it, meaningthere are moments in your life
where, yeah, maybe you haven'tbeen worthy of success because
you haven't put in the work oryou've quit too early, and

(04:18):
therefore you go oh well, Ialways quit earlier, I'm lazy.
But what we then need to go isare there other areas in your
life where you have been worthyof success?
You have put in the work, youhave shown discipline, and we
can now have evidence on bothsides.
What we then need to do ischoose which side of the fence
we want to look on, which one isgoing to move you closer to
where you want to get to, and,to be honest, it's going to be
the one that is evidence for thebelief that you need to have,

(04:41):
because what then happens nextis we need to reframe it.
So, rather than saying tomyself, I'm not worthy of
success, what would the oppositeof that be?
Well, a simple one is I amworthy of success.
And then we lean on theevidence that proves that I am
disciplined.
I show up various other thingsthat are in your life that you
can go.
Well, that is who I need to be,because then we need to action
that so it brings us to thefourth point of ACRA, which is

(05:02):
action.
We've now got the reframe of thebelief we need to have, but we
need to have a way to continueto drill it into our mind,
because our default response isthe opposite side, which is I'm
not worthy, and you're alwaysgoing to dance between the two,
and my experience and my beliefis you're going to dance between
the two, but it's how we fuelourself and what we action that
is going to give power to theone that's most important to you
.
So if the positive belief isthe one that's going to move you

(05:25):
closer to where you want to be,turn you into the man that you
need to become, then we need tocreate evidence, and we need to
act in a way that delivers that.
So in the beginning, you couldwrite down every morning.
I am worthy of success, becausewe're conditioning our thought
process.
You could continue to look atthe evidence that you wrote down
that supports that belief, andyou can go through and do this
for all of these, and you mighteven take videos.

(05:46):
There's so many ways and toolsthat you can implement to use
that, and that's why I wouldrecommend getting that free
playbook and the link is therefor you so that you can go
through and you can do this foras many as you want.
But the most important part, once you've acknowledged it,
once you've challenged it, onceyou've reframed it, is to act on
it, because, as I said at thebeginning of this, many of you
are just chasing moreinformation, more strategies,

(06:09):
more, more, more, more, more, more more, when there's already
enough inside of you that youjust need to reframe, maybe even
remove, in order to get whatyou want and get your head out
of the way so that you cancontinue to build towards the
life that you want.
If you need help with that, once again, you can always reach
out to me.
You can drop your commentsbelow.
I'm always going to answer themor reach out to me on Instagram
.
So that's the ACRA frameworkand really, in a nutshell, it is

(06:30):
quite simple.
It's about acknowledging thechallenge that's in front of you
and just hitting it from adifferent perspective.
That's going to give you theview to build the life that you
want and to finish up, somethingthat's really important for you
to consider Every solution thatyou find or every problem that
you solve is going to create anew problem.
Where you really need to put thework in is becoming the person

(06:50):
who can handle those nextchallenges.
You're never going to avoidchallenges.
You're never going to avoidadversity.
It's part of the progress orpart of the price of growth and
creating the life that you wantto live.
What you need to do is shiftthe beliefs, so move a lot of
those, or reframe a lot of thoselimiting beliefs into powerful
beliefs, beliefs where you havecertainty in yourself to be able
to deal with the adversitythat's coming your way or

(07:11):
pressures that are coming yourway in creating what you want.
That is one of the mostimportant things that you need
to focus on, which is why it issuch a good process to develop
is reframing limiting beliefsand leave you with this as well.
Limiting beliefs are likebuilding muscle you have to
continue to put the reps in.
Just because you identify it,you challenge it, you reframe it
and you act it once doesn'tmean you can't regress back.

(07:31):
You need to continually put inthe work and condition your mind
, find evidence around thosebeliefs and act in the way that
or in accordance with theversion of yourself that is
going to get results that you'relooking for so seriously.
If you've watched this long,I'm super pumped for you and I
look forward to hopefullyconnecting at some point in the
future.
But get that free playbook.
It's going to be available foryou there.
You can follow me on socials.
I really do hope it gives you adifferent framework, a simple

(07:53):
framework where you canchallenge those limiting beliefs
and get moving in the directionto creating the results that
you want.
I don't want to see more andmore men who have incredible
potential holding themselvesback because of what's in here
and they just are looking fordifferent strategies or
different support in order to dothat, when everything that you
have inside is going to beenough to move you towards where
you.
