To get you hyped while we get this batch of episodes ready for you, here are some brief thoughts she recorded immediately after we finished a marathon 10 interviews over 4 days.  What themes did she cover? Will she or her guests get cancelled this season?  How much did she annoy her producer David?  You be the judge ...

Vanessa Vakharia (00:00):
The last interview.

(00:00):
I'm done.
Ten interviews.
We recorded ten interviews forseason six.
How am I feeling?
How am I feeling?
Um, My makeup is smudged.
My glitter is in my, on mycontact lenses.
I'm feeling good.
I feel like, I'm thinking backto all the past seasons and like
how far Math Therapy has comefrom like interviewing guests

(00:22):
who hated math and were so mathanxious, to now interviewing
educators about how to helpprevent math trauma in the math
classroom.
I feel like I've learned somuch.
Like, I feel like, well, firstof all, this is the first season
where I've been taught math, twoguests taught me math, and where
I was able to observe my ownmath trauma be triggered.

(00:42):
And in the moment, actually usethe strategies I'm constantly
preaching to everyone, and thatfelt really good.
It felt like a full circlemoment, so that was exciting.
I'm so excited about thestories, I feel like there was a
lot of juicy gossip.
I feel like I really swore a lotat some poor unsuspecting guests
who were kind of like, what'swrong with you?
I guessed a lot of people'sastrological signs correctly, I

(01:03):
guessed more of themincorrectly.
We laughed, we cried, I did cry,I did cry like twice almost.
I think what's interesting issome of the major themes,
because all my guests I had onfor completely different
reasons, but three things keptcoming up over and over again.
Trust.
How do we build it?
How do we find it?
How do we maintain it?
Beauty and joy in math.

(01:24):
How does that happen and howhave we strayed so far from the
path?
And third of all, why are peopleso mean to me on the internet?
Those are the three themes Ithink that you're going to find
this season.
So if you're interested in anyof those themes, like you've
come to the right place.
With so many of these things, Ihave all these notes and I'm
ready to ask these questions.
And for most of theseinterviews, I didn't ask
anything on my pieces of paperbecause the conversations were

(01:46):
just so juicy, I couldn't letthem go.
Um, Will I get cancelled thisseason?
I wonder every, I don't wonderevery season, in fact, but I
wondered last season and Idefinitely wonder this season,
so I guess let's find out.
I did annoy David, but I thinkless.
He had to tell me to take off mybracelets multiple times.
That was annoying him.

(02:07):
I think I actually hit the mic alot less than I have in previous
episodes.

David Kochberg (02:10):
That's true.

Vanessa Vakharia (02:11):
But he said that I would drink too much
espresso late in the afternoonand my foot would be tapping and
that would somehow disrupt thesound, so I guess that.
And then he was trying to dothis thing where he got me to
like monitor my own levels, which is ridiculous because
obviously that's not going tohappen.
I think the sound is going tosound really good this season.

David Kochberg (02:26):
Guess we'll find out!

Vanessa Vakharia (02:28):
Tune in.
Season six of Math Therapy.
Who the fuck knows what's gonnahappen.

David Kochberg (02:33):
Click.

Vanessa Vakharia (02:36):
Okay, that's good.
If you want me to guess yourstar sign, send me a DM with
these three facts.
Number one.

David Kochberg (02:44):
No no no, no, that's enough.

Vanessa Vakharia (02:45):
K.
