Rob (00:17):
Welcome to Matt and Friends
Drink the Universe.
Matt (00:28):
Hello everyone and welcome
back to Matt and Friends.
Drink the Universe.
Today we are going to doDrinkables.
Rob (00:34):
I have so many terrible
flavors in my mouth right now.
Three budget snacks.
Emma (00:38):
It's got like this
fireness to your tongue.
It's not good guys.
Matt (00:42):
That go with a centerpiece
drink.
Rob (00:44):
Oh, oh, don't drink it.
Don't drink.
What is with you guys garglingyour food and beer.
Matt (00:49):
If you're feeling brave
you can dip it.
Gonna hard pass on that.
Just stop getting meat.
My favorite part of that dropis Andy at the end saying I'm
gonna hard pass on that.
Siobhan (00:59):
Yeah Well, he was
trying to remember what he was
talking about when he heard thatno, no, it was dipping the
cookie that I suggested for thesmoked beer, the vanilla.
Matt (01:11):
I was just like let's dip
that right inside.
Siobhan (01:13):
Oh, that's right.
Matt (01:14):
Yeah.
Emma (01:14):
Boo Yikes Not good.
Matt (01:18):
So once again we are going
to be doing drinkables.
Today the centerpiece drink iswhite claw and we have a variety
pack with lime, black cherry, raspberry and ruby grapefruit.
And, again keeping with thetheme of this season, my friends
have gone to gas stations at myrequest and they're also
thrilled about it and havepicked three items loosely to go
(01:38):
with the flavor of white clawthat they selected.
So as we get started, I'm gonnahave them introduce themselves
first and then they willintroduce the flavor of white
claw that they brought alongwith their drinkables.
So let's do introductions first, and I'm gonna go this way just
to change it up.
Siobhan (01:54):
Ooh, okay, well, hi
Reigning champion of drinkables
here.
Rob (01:58):
Wow.
Siobhan (01:59):
Siobhan, I'm back.
I do not expect to win today, but I hope it's a good time and
I have ruby grapefruit as theflavor.
Emma (02:07):
Siobhan, you were always a
good time.
Yes, I'm here and I'm bringingthe sweet, so let's get this
going.
Matt (02:15):
And what was your flavor?
Emma (02:17):
Black cherry.
Matt (02:18):
All right.
Rob (02:19):
Hi everybody.
It's Rob.
This is the OG Drinkables teamfrom season one.
Matt (02:23):
I just like the point that
, oh yeah, yes, yes.
Siobhan (02:25):
Because, I didn't know
that anybody's.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, amazing.
Rob (02:28):
So thrown it back.
But this year we're at the gasstations and today my flavor is
raspberry.
Matt (02:35):
All right, and I am your
host, matt, and my flavor today
is natural lime, so we're goingto see how that goes.
Oh, I'm a little nervous.
Rob (02:44):
Why so am I?
I'll be honest.
Well now, if you're nervous,I'm nervous.
Well, I'm always nervous aboutwhat Matt's going to do.
Siobhan (02:51):
Well, and he's never
nervous, so I feel like he's
nervous.
Maybe that's a good thing,maybe it's the opposite.
Matt (02:56):
Oh, it means we're totally
going to win, okay, great.
I do have a surprise.
I do have a surprise for today,Well now I'm definitely nervous
.
Rob (03:03):
I'll be honest, I do not
like white claw by itself.
Personally, I'm not a bigseltzer person, so I'm not
really sure how today is goingto go for me, pallet wise, but
we'll see.
Emma (03:16):
It means we're going to
win.
I know I'm ready this is likeright up our alley.
Matt (03:20):
There's a lot of
trepidation.
I'm not that nervous.
Rob (03:23):
I think we should just jump
right into it.
Siobhan (03:25):
Well, there's no laws
with claws.
Rob (03:28):
Anybody mind if I get
started.
Siobhan (03:29):
Yes, all right, there's
no laws with claws.
There's no laws with claws, that's the thing.
Rob (03:35):
No laws with the claws.
You've never heard that.
Matt (03:37):
I've never heard that he
has now.
Siobhan (03:39):
Well, yeah, just heard
it right now as far as you know,
I created it, so all right, good for me.
Matt (03:44):
Five points to you, then
Five points to Shabon indoor.
Okay.
Rob (03:49):
Well, it's a little puff.
So, yes, my drinkable today.
I'm going to call it abrunchable, and I went to Wawa.
So what I'm going to do here isI'm going to make a little bit
of a claw Mosa, as I'm going tocall it a raspberry claw Mosa,
(04:14):
because I'm not a huge fan ofthe claws by themselves.
I thought maybe if I made someform of cocktail out of it, I
could make it palatable for me.
Siobhan (04:21):
I like this vibe.
I'm going to dress up a littlebit here.
Actual breakfast.
Emma (04:24):
I'm just going to get
ready to eat it.
And then he was like, actuallylooks decent.
Rob (04:29):
Okay, I've cracked a claw
Very aggressive sound, and now
we're going to.
We're going to go for a 50 50mixture of claw and OJ.
All right, yeah, half can whiteclaw.
Siobhan (04:42):
I'm going to match it
with the same amount of juice 50
, 50 is not usually my Mamosa, Iknow.
No, no, no, I understand that.
Rob (04:53):
But.
Emma (04:53):
But what I don't want to
do is completely lose the white
claw.
Siobhan (04:58):
Well right, oh, you
won't.
I bet raspberry is a prettypungent flavor.
Emma (05:03):
And I've not tested this
beforehand, so God helps us, it
smells good, I'll be honest, I'mactually really surprised you
went to Wawa because, like Mattand I, live at Wawa.
It's right across from ouroffice.
Matt (05:12):
From where we work.
Emma (05:14):
Wawa was my jam.
The amount of money I spent atWawa is outrageous Actually, the
amount of money I saved duringCOVID of not going to Wawa yeah
that was my husband was like doyou realize?
Like all right.
Rob (05:25):
So so, first of all, I
would like to just point out
that, while Shrivan is thereigning champion, so was Wawa,
so it's true.
Siobhan (05:30):
All right, I'm hoping
for that.
Rob (05:32):
All right, cheers, ladies
and gents, let's check this out
the raspberry claw.
Matt (05:40):
Damn.
Siobhan (05:40):
Delish, delish, yeah,
yeah, that's really good, I hate
you.
Emma (05:45):
That's actually really
good Stealers, well, sir.
Rob (05:48):
Delicious.
Matt (05:51):
And giving early one right
off the bat.
It's really good.
Yeah, it's fantastic.
Rob (05:55):
I'm going to go ahead and
say I would drink this again,
like outside.
Of.
Emma (06:00):
We're going to make you a
white cloth.
There we go.
Matt (06:03):
This is the cocktail Rob
will be known for.
Rob (06:06):
So the full menu today is a
slice of avocado toast which I
have engineered with some sweetpeppers, some chipotle sauce and
a little bit of cheese sprinkle.
Then we're going to move on tothe sausage, egg and cheese
croissant and then finish withthe cherry cheese Danish.
Now I have put a little packetof hot sauce on the side.
(06:29):
I would recommend, or is myintent, that we put a little bit
on the sausage, egg and cheese, because I'm looking to have
some of the spiciness counteractthe sweetness of the drink.
So I would start with theavocado toast, if we will, all
right.
Emma (06:44):
You had me at avocado, got
it.
Matt (06:46):
And what's on top of this
again?
Rob (06:48):
It is sweet peppers a
chipotle sauce, avocado and a
little bit of Parmesan cheese.
Siobhan (06:53):
Shocking.
No one, I do not like avocado.
I'm eating this, yes.
Emma (07:00):
Oh, you don't like that
Sorry.
Siobhan (07:03):
I'm not.
I haven't tried it yet.
I don't want to.
Emma (07:05):
I have avocado and like
everything.
Matt (07:07):
What don't you like about
that, Matt?
I think it's a texture thingwith the peppers.
Siobhan (07:11):
Oh, I think it's good.
Matt (07:12):
I think it's quite quite
delightful.
Siobhan (07:14):
I will say I do not
mind for everyone that can't see
, which is everyone but us.
This is like spread avocado.
It's not like chunks of avocado.
That helps me out because thespread is taste better.
It's a texture thing for meforever, but the peppers are
actually good I think.
Yeah, it's delicious.
No, that's a nice start.
Matt (07:33):
I'm going to be the lone
dissenter then on this one.
I don't know what it is, butit's just not doing it for me
here.
Rob (07:39):
Well, would you at least
lick the chipotle sauce and then
take a drink of this because Ithink that that is the magic of
the avocado toast at the momentthat little chipotle.
Siobhan (07:46):
It's true, it's a nice
little kick.
I agree, yep, I think it's goodyeah then take a sip.
Emma (07:52):
It still has like a little
fire.
Okay, that does work.
You see where I was trying togo.
That does work.
Rob (07:57):
Yeah, I'm sorry that
textureally it's a nightmare for
you.
Matt (07:58):
No, that's okay.
That's all right.
All right, all right, we'regoing to Put this closure.
I'm not an avocado fan either,so I do like chipotle though.
Rob (08:05):
That's okay, that's
different.
All right, we're going to go onto the egg sandwich here.
I'm putting a little hot saucein mine.
Feel free to two if you wouldlike.
Emma (08:13):
I have provided said
packets this is like a regular
breakfast for me.
I have this all the time.
Siobhan (08:19):
There you go.
You may have bought a boat, Rob.
Rob (08:23):
No, you know what it's okay
.
Emma (08:25):
I will say did you guys
know that the Wawa downtown,
Allentown in the Lehigh Valleyis the highest grossing Wawa
across?
Siobhan (08:35):
The one near you guys
right yeah, in the Lehigh Valley
, the one on 15?
.
Emma (08:38):
Yeah, and they have no
idea, because it's the only Wawa
without a gas station that islike so profitable and they
don't know why.
But I will tell you, every timeI'm there it is popping.
It is like a party.
Matt (08:50):
Yeah, no, it's our company
sharing a parking lot with them
.
We pretty much keep them.
I got an angry phone call fromJen one morning.
I was standing in Wawa, ironically, and she was like do
you have any idea how much moneyyou spent at Wawa last month?
I was like mm-mm.
She was like you're pushing$150.
Emma (09:06):
I don't want it.
Rob (09:07):
Is that including gas?
No, not gas, they don't evenhave a gas station.
Matt (09:11):
It was me going there
twice a day for food and snacks,
and this was probably 10 yearsago.
Siobhan (09:15):
Those were really small
, wawa it is very small.
Matt (09:18):
Wawa, it's not big at all,
but it's packed Every time you
go in there.
Rob (09:21):
We lived in Allentown, yeah
, so Matt are you saying that
size doesn't matter hey.
Siobhan (09:27):
I mean sounds like it.
Rob (09:29):
Speaking from experience.
Siobhan (09:30):
I didn't bring up that
it was a small Wawa.
Rob (09:31):
When it comes to Wawa.
Okay, that's fair.
Emma (09:34):
He went there.
Rob (09:35):
And I'll say the sizzly was
just as good as I knew it was
going to be.
Siobhan (09:37):
It's pretty good.
Yeah, I don't hate it.
Rob (09:39):
It's a very standard
offering from Wawa.
Siobhan (09:41):
I think I prefer the
first kind of more savory flavor
than the second one, but that'sjust because, like a buttery
savory flavor maybe isn't myfavorite choice, but I still
think it pairs well with thedrink.
Matt (09:53):
Thank you.
I think it's interesting goingfrom one to the other two
because it's almost like walkingaround the 90 degree angle from
where you started.
Emma (10:01):
I have to say I really
liked dipping the sandwich in
hot sauce, which I did actuallymix with ketchup.
Siobhan (10:07):
I normally.
Emma (10:07):
Yeah, I'm a ketchup girl.
I'm gonna tell you everythingin Canada, if we could throw
some ketchup on it, we will andI'll definitely eat it.
But I actually threw some hotsauce in there with the ketchup
and the sandwich and then if youhave that with the drink
afterwards, it kind of still hasthe same thing as the avocado,
where you have that like alittle like kick and that spice
(10:28):
and then the sweet of the drinkso good.
Rob (10:31):
Let's uh, let's move on to
the last, the cherry cheese
Danish.
Now, this is this one.
I'm a little concerned aboutthe pairing because if it's too
sweet I'm worried it'll getmedicinal with the drink.
But we're going to seeno-transcript.
Siobhan (10:47):
Hmm.
Matt (10:48):
Well.
Emma (10:48):
Danish is delicious.
Let's see if it matches.
Siobhan (10:50):
I love this Danish.
I'm trying to create a biteover here.
Rob (10:55):
Oh, my God, oh, ho, ho ho
ho.
Emma (10:58):
That's also really good,
especially to end it on this.
It's like you know, you havelike two savories, and then a
sweet, and then the.
Is this cherry?
The sauce?
Yes, whatever this is, it'sdelicious.
Rob (11:12):
I'm very pleased with how
this worked out.
This is, this was my intent.
I'm glad that nothing otherthan texturally went wrong.
This is a strong showing, thankyou.
Matt (11:24):
This is competing with the
surprising meat.
Thank you.
Siobhan (11:26):
Yeah, this, I'm a fan
of this.
Yeah, this was good.
Matt (11:29):
Yes, they're good things.
Rob (11:30):
Does it make you say a wawa
wee wa it could A punama wawa.
Matt (11:33):
Yeah, yeah.
Emma (11:34):
Absolutely.
Did you go to wawa last timetoo, I?
Rob (11:38):
did?
No, she did, but she won lasttime.
Yep.
Siobhan (11:41):
So I see what you did
there, even though Aaron like
pulled out every mobile stopthere ever was, making like full
on food for us.
Matt (11:48):
I'm going to give him a
shout out.
Siobhan (11:50):
He cooked a three
course meal out of things from
the mobile.
It was a little nice.
He made a fungo.
Rob (11:55):
Yeah, he like bought like
multiple ingredients and made
real food.
Yeah, what Like real food?
I was shocked.
Siobhan (12:03):
Yep, but I won.
So, yeah, I voted for myselflike a jerk.
I won't do that today.
Emma (12:12):
No, that's hey that's how
the game is played.
You got to give yourself up aslong as your gracious in defeat
as well, you know oh, I am.
Siobhan (12:20):
Yeah, I'm good with
that.
Yeah, I mean, if I had lost toAaron, that would have been more
than fine because he put somuch effort into that.
If I had lost to Matt, I wouldhave been really mad though.
Matt (12:29):
I hate how much I love
this cocktail.
I really do, like you, putorange juice.
Rob (12:35):
I'll tell you what ma'am.
Up until this morning, when Iarrived at the wawa, my plan was
to actually get a lemonade andmake some kind of like a
raspberry radler, like like aplay on a lemonade cocktail.
But then, when I started seeingmy options for food, I was like
, oh no, I want to do brunch.
And what goes better withbrunch than a mimosa?
(12:57):
That's true.
Siobhan (12:58):
So that's that's true,
and I actually appreciate the
orange juice flavor, maybe morethan I would lemonade.
Rob (13:05):
Yeah, I think the lemonade
would have been maybe too sweet.
Siobhan (13:07):
Sure.
Emma (13:08):
I just think it was also
good to start off like this,
because it's just, it'sbreakfast, it just totes.
You know you can't go wrong.
Rob (13:14):
Well, good morning, good
morning.
Siobhan (13:15):
Thank you.
Rob (13:16):
You're welcome.
Siobhan (13:17):
Delicious.
Matt (13:18):
Cheers, cheers, emma.
Emma (13:22):
Okay, so we got some black
cherries, so everybody get a
can or we could all do anothercup yeah.
Let's thank you you look, Idon't want to commit to a whole
camp.
Rob (13:36):
No, just a wee bit.
For me, that'll do.
Matt (13:39):
I'm going to put it in a
baby, yeah girl.
I'm putting it in a mat andfriends yeti, yeti.
Still waiting for that phonecall, still waiting?
Give me one day.
The logo looks really good onyour product, like you really
need help selling at this point.
Emma (13:54):
I'm honestly just going to
take a whole can, because I
love.
Rob (13:57):
I'm still drinking my drink
, by the way.
Siobhan (13:59):
I know, yeah, I still
have some.
Matt (14:02):
So so full disclosure I
love black, cherry, white claw.
Rob (14:05):
I actually buy it in like
12 packs and keep it downstairs,
because Matt is the most basicof bitches.
It's true, it's okay, it's true, I'm surprised you didn't love
that brunch.
Matt (14:18):
It's a very basic bitch
thing.
I love a good Wawa breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, whenever
it happens to be, I meandrinking this.
Emma (14:25):
I just want to be like out
of the pool, just like, yeah,
chillaxing, yeah, you know, likemy kids are wild, yeah, it kind
of feels like we're baking inthe sun in here once again.
It's a little hot inside thestarship today.
I went to Exxon.
Rob (14:38):
Take us on your journey.
Emma (14:42):
And I wanted to kind of go
all sweet with this which is
very well.
I approve yeah which isactually very interesting,
because you went like verysavory.
And so yeah, I'm actuallyexcited to go after you.
Siobhan (14:54):
I'll be your sweet to
your savory.
Emma (14:56):
And yeah, it took me a
little while I was walking
around the Exxon looking supersuspicious, picking up a lot of
stuff, putting it back and tothe point where my kids were
like just make a decision, mom.
But eventually I went withthese strawberry wafers, which I
was really surprised that theyhad.
I love these.
I did not know they had theseat Exxon.
And then I went with the wildberry skittles because I felt
(15:23):
like the berry skittles with theblack cherry, just keeping it
wild.
And then I also have vanilladunkaroos.
So feel free to.
Rob (15:33):
I'm going to start off with
a plain sip just to gauge what
it is.
I do not care for it Really, sohere's the thing.
Siobhan (15:45):
You don't like seltzer?
No, well, that'll do it.
Rob (15:49):
The initial taste where the
black cherry is is fine, but
then when the black cherry fadesand you get that like seltzer
flavor, like the flavor ofcarbonated water.
Siobhan (15:58):
You just have to see
you down and just pour seltzer
down your face for like threehours and then you'll get over
it.
Rob (16:05):
But yeah, I don't know,
it's just, there's like an
aftertaste to it that I don'tcare for.
Matt (16:09):
So you just proposed me
waterboard Bert with seltzer.
I'm sorry.
Siobhan (16:13):
It's seltzer boarding.
Thank you, yes.
Okay, emma would like to take.
Rob (16:17):
She wants to take us on a
journey.
People, I'm ready, okay, so?
Emma (16:20):
let's get our wafers and
let's go wait for first.
So hopefully this willcounteract that seltzer at the
end.
These are so good.
Rob (16:27):
I mean I love these.
Emma (16:28):
These remind me of growing
up.
I know right, yeah.
They're actually really good.
Matt (16:33):
It does add a layer of
sweetness that does actually
kill the seltzer taste on theback end.
Yep, it certainly does.
Siobhan (16:39):
Oh, that's great.
Rob (16:40):
It certainly does Look at
that Yep.
And I actually think thestrawberry flavor is blending
well with the black cherry.
Siobhan (16:47):
I agree, it is yeah,
you always worry, like Too sweet
.
Rob (16:50):
Are you going to get
something that's too sweet?
I was worried about that.
Emma (16:52):
Are you going to?
Rob (16:52):
get something that reminds
you of like Would you look at me
.
Siobhan (16:54):
When you said too sweet
as a child, I didn't.
I'm good, good, well done.
Matt (16:59):
A good start.
Siobhan (16:59):
You're just too sweet,
Matt.
Matt (17:02):
I felt I was being judged
for my previous sweet on sweet
on sweet assault on the tastebuds.
Siobhan (17:06):
I'm constantly judging
you for that.
Rob (17:08):
I'm just judging him.
Emma (17:09):
That lucky charm for
nothing.
Siobhan (17:11):
We'll just live in my
memory for the rest of my life.
Emma (17:15):
And then grab some
skittles.
Rob (17:17):
Now a variety of colors and
flavors.
Do you want me to like One ofeach?
Like what, what?
Emma (17:22):
are we going to play?
I got like a good five here inmy hand.
Rob (17:25):
I'm going to put all of
them in my mouth.
Emma (17:27):
Oh, yes, actually that
sounds amazing.
So you just taste all therainbow and then get a good sip
of that black cherry.
Rob (17:34):
Hey, it's Pride month.
I'm getting in on a rainbow.
Siobhan (17:38):
It is proud of you.
Emma (17:40):
I love these skittles.
Honestly, I think the wildcherry, like the berries, is
actually better than the regularflavor.
I agree with that.
Matt (17:49):
I think tropical is my
favorite, except that there's a
banana, which is gross, butother than that, I think we
found two consecutive ways tokill the cider taste, or the
cider taste, the seltzer tasteon the back end.
Emma (17:58):
Exactly and then go in for
that step.
Siobhan (18:01):
All right, this is a
bit sweet for me, but I still
like it.
I'll be honest.
Rob (18:05):
Maybe I've done too many
once, but to me.
Now, this just tastes likeplain water.
Siobhan (18:10):
I'm not getting any
flavor out of this, I don't know
Is it?
It doesn't taste like crap,it's like you don't like
something.
Emma (18:19):
I would like drink this
like on the go at the pool.
Siobhan (18:24):
Oh, we took a turn.
Matt (18:26):
Oh, something went wrong.
Siobhan (18:27):
No no we took a turn.
Rob (18:30):
This actually for me
amplifies the seltzer tape taste
at the very, very end at thevery end?
Emma (18:35):
It definitely.
But, like I agree with Siobhan, that's totally like what we're
here for.
Rob (18:39):
Right.
If you like it, you like it.
We had a whole room of women.
I'm not judging your choicesbased upon just the taste of the
seltzer.
Right it's.
How well does it pair?
Siobhan (18:51):
And fair enough.
I mean, I can understandwanting to have a flavor in the
thing that you're drinking.
Rob (18:55):
Can I just tell you, you've
taken me back.
Emma (18:58):
The Dunker Room To 1997.
Matt (19:01):
It was a simpler time.
Emma (19:03):
I was shocked that they
had these.
Rob (19:04):
You know, I'm opening up my
lunchbox.
I'm waiting to see.
Are we sharing?
Emma (19:08):
Did I get the Dunker Room?
Oh yeah, we are, siobhan, youand me, we are totally sharing.
Matt (19:11):
You're waiting to steal
some french fries off my damn
lunch tray, like you did everyday for three years.
Siobhan (19:16):
He's not bitter at all.
Matt (19:18):
The middle school lunch
table.
Rob (19:19):
In 97, I was still in
elementary school, dude.
So I will say I graduated fromeighth grade and like 2000.
Siobhan (19:29):
Oh my god, oh my god,
this forever go, yeah, and also.
Matt (19:33):
I can't do that earlier
than that, oh god.
Siobhan (19:37):
I graduated in 97.
So bye.
Hmm, gotta love it.
Good dunk from eighth grade.
Matt (19:43):
Oh, okay, I was like.
Siobhan (19:44):
I was like no, you just
said eighth grade.
Rob (19:46):
That's why my mind melted
there for a moment.
I was like you graduate fromhigh school.
Siobhan (19:50):
You're like no, I'm
just kidding.
Rob (19:52):
What are you?
Matt (19:52):
like no, I graduated high
school in 2001 so she von spent
16 years getting her undergraddegree.
Rob (20:06):
No no the pairing the
pairing no, the Dunkeroo is
delightful.
I'll have some more of thoseafter I kill this.
Matt (20:29):
No, that was, since we're
back in 97.
That was the feeling onNickelodeon when stick stickly
came on to let you know thatthere Is now a commercial right
to me stick, stickly stick, stickly, oh my god box, what
something.
Siobhan (20:40):
A three New York City,
new York State, one oh one away.
I remember that.
Oh my god, wow, I have a punchbowl.
You all know I mean people whoare listening know that there it
is just rain, man up in there.
I don't know where it comesfrom, I don't know what's
happening, it just comes out.
It's what happens.
Matt (20:57):
Nickelodeon like rain man.
It's slime man.
That's what that is.
Siobhan (21:00):
Yeah, well, it's just
all topics.
Chris knows this well, I loveyou.
Emma (21:05):
Shama.
Siobhan (21:06):
I didn't.
I did not dislike that becauseI like like a cream and a fruit.
But yeah, I mean I thought thiswasn't bad skittles.
Maybe it was a little much forme, but other than that, those
wafer cookies are everything.
Emma (21:20):
So what I do really like
about the Dunkeroo with this is
just like the wafer.
It kind of gives you a littlecrunch with the sweet.
But I do think yeah, like evenmaybe just having the dunk
instead of I don't know the crew, the route, it would be better
because you're right, as soon asyou throw in this icing, this
(21:41):
cream, it just kills it.
Siobhan (21:44):
Do you know, I remember
too.
I feel like I've had these dunkgrooves in the last like year
or two, because I did a wallwalk trip and I was like, oh my
god, like nostalgia.
I bought a pack from Sam's Cluband I know what being like sad,
like I remember it being, likeI thought the frosting Was
creamier than like as a kid wascreamier than it actually is,
and it feels kind of like weirdand oily now but I'm like I'm an
(22:06):
adult and I notice ingredients.
Now that's done.
Matt (22:10):
Didn't come out of a top
tier.
Siobhan (22:12):
V&e's yeah like right
like I'm not like you know.
I just I mean, it's good, don'tget me wrong, but it's just
like just remember it's verynostalgic.
Matt (22:22):
It's very nostalgic,
nostalgic and funny how your
mind.
Emma (22:24):
I will say though I
literally was at the gas station
and I even was begging thewoman to go back in the back and
look for more Dunkeroo can playthings and I literally there
was none.
I was like I'll wait for youand she looked everywhere and I
could only get these two and soalright, okay, I.
Siobhan (22:46):
What do you also think?
Emma (22:47):
if it would have been
chocolate, because they did have
Chocolate and I was kind oflike chocolate with black cherry
.
Siobhan (22:54):
Covered cherry Could be
that could have.
I was going back and forth, butit's the same thing where it
goes with the icing, I feel likeI do.
Emma (23:01):
I kind of agree with
Siobhan where that it's just not
what you remember it and is it?
Going to pair well.
Siobhan (23:07):
Yeah, so I'll.
Spoiler alert there may bechocolate.
Emma (23:11):
On this next journey.
Chocolate on the horizon.
Matt (23:14):
I will say this in the
words of meatloaf two out of
three ain't bad.
Siobhan (23:17):
There you go, well done
.
Matt (23:20):
All right.
So, siobhan, you are up next.
Siobhan (23:23):
Okay, everybody.
So as a reminder, I have rubygrapefruit as my white claw
flavor, so I've decided to do acocktail as well.
But it is like double thealcohol, double the fun
situation.
So I have made a claw hound, which is a take on a gray hound
(23:46):
smells lovely gin and grapefruit, and so I have gin and I have
Grapefruit juice that I havefreshly squeezed from grapefruit
slices from sheets.
Like if I won against Aaron, Ihad to like step it up to a
(24:06):
level that he might be proud of.
So that's why I'm doing this.
Rob (24:09):
That's okay, so then I
touch here with the white claw.
So okay, well, cheers let's seehow it goes, all right.
Siobhan (24:16):
That is delightful,
yeah, yeah it's light, it's
refreshing and there is mostlyseltzer in this I will say I did
not literally like top it andgo like, yeah, it's adjacent to
ruby grapefruit white claw, it'sstill in there.
Emma (24:30):
I can.
I was actually gonna say is howmuch.
Rob (24:33):
Okay, I'm gonna let you
know this I don't like gin.
Siobhan (24:36):
Do you taste it?
Rob (24:37):
a little bit interesting
Well let's see how Like.
Siobhan (24:42):
I knew you wouldn't
like gin, but I can't sensitive
palette.
I.
I was thinking about tequilafor this morning and I was like
that might be a little hard.
Rob (24:49):
So I don't like to bring it
on approachable it's totally
fine.
Good, it's totally fine.
Okay, it's very refreshingstill.
Siobhan (24:57):
Yes, you definitely
taste, though they after taste
of grapefruit right and it'slike grapefruit from a little
jar that had sweetened wateraround it, like I'm very much
getting that like.
Emma (25:08):
So where we starting?
Or was that just the last, likeone in the box, and you were
just like, oh Well, it's thelast one in the box.
Okay, I was gonna say I don'treally see you, yep heads up.
Siobhan (25:17):
I am.
I am a ringer.
I really love grapefruit toasts.
To be completely honest, it may, other than lime, have been the
one that I picked, mmm, but Iwas handed it because I am
Standing sitting in for someone.
Matt (25:31):
Yes, somebody else had a
scheduling conflict at the last
minute and I called Please.
And she visited several gasstations.
Emma (25:42):
Not one Wow the commitment
.
Siobhan (25:45):
I will say I had no
idea that grapefruit juice was
just no one's jam.
The amount of like grapefruitfruit punch, raspberry, lemonade
, ice tea, that which those areall delicious at gas stations.
I was looking for grapefruitjuice and like six or seven
places.
Rob (26:03):
You probably should have
gone to the one that Aaron went
to because he found like pinacolada mix or whatever.
Matt (26:09):
He stepped through a
portal and went to a grocery
store somewhere.
Siobhan (26:13):
Which I went to a
mobile and they had good stuff
there.
I'll be honest, interesting.
But so do you eat yourgrapefruit with sugar?
I don't eat citrus fruitsbecause it's a texture issue.
Matt (26:23):
So welcome to my life.
Okay, okay, it's a good time.
Can you tell us about your food.
I can my sensitive palate.
That was the title of thisepisode.
Siobhan (26:34):
Yeah, I think that's a
great one.
Okay, so I have chosen prettysnacky things.
Right, I didn't go with likemeal items.
I think that's probably goodwith the journey that we've been
on so far.
Okay, I have chosen Chex mix,so it's bold.
Chex party mix, so it's like agarlicky onion, even though it's
not really that bold.
So starting with that would begreat.
You can choose whatever of theChex mix.
(26:55):
I tried to give everyone someof the things like the bagel
chips and the pretzels.
Rob (26:59):
I love Chex mix.
Siobhan (27:00):
Yes, and I felt like
bold was a little bit of a good
choice, because if you salt therim of a gray hound, it's called
a salty dog.
Oh, delicious drink bring it on.
Emma (27:11):
So I love a good salt room
, indeed delicious, hmm, I have
to say, like trackmases like mygo-to drunk food.
It's so good.
Siobhan (27:19):
Mm-hmm.
Rob (27:20):
I like the pumpernickel
pieces.
Siobhan (27:22):
Are they good?
Actually the regular bagelchips are doing everything.
Matt (27:30):
Not to make a salt rim
joke listen.
The man showed.
Siobhan (27:36):
So I went with bold,
because regular traditional Chex
Mix is very good, but it's notreally kind of that real like
punch of salt that I felt likewould really work with this.
Everyone has thoughts, it'sfine.
Rob (27:49):
The Chex Mix is delicious.
The more I drink the cocktail, the more I don't like it.
Siobhan (27:53):
Okay, well, I tried to
help you out with this.
You just need to refine yourpalate.
Is really what we're saying?
Matt (27:58):
I understand.
Siobhan (27:58):
Just kidding.
Matt (28:00):
I'm gonna be honest, the
cocktail is not my favorite that
I've had on the table thismorning.
Oh, but it's not bad.
Siobhan (28:07):
It's great.
Okay, I don't know if I drinkthat.
I love how everyone liked it atthe beginning and now, all of a
sudden, you're all getting usedto it.
Rob (28:13):
I think I'm getting more
into the gin flavor.
Now, yeah, I can't, and thenit's just taking me right out.
There's not even that much ginin it, you guys.
Matt (28:19):
I mean not that it takes
much.
If you don't like it to be fair, maybe I don't like grapefruit
then you and I I don't know, Ididn't drinkers, though I can
taste the gin.
Siobhan (28:25):
I mean, I can taste it,
but it's not like overly I
would have any sugar.
Oh see, and the funny part isagain, these are grapefruits
that were in like sweet stuff,so like I didn't add any sugar.
Well, and there's white claw init y'all.
White claw is pretty sweet, flavory, that's why.
Rob (28:43):
Yeah, I mean I'll keep
rocking it, but no that's fine,
listen, I like it.
And you know what?
Siobhan (28:48):
I'll have a great time
and y'all can just chill with
your mullsus.
Rob (28:51):
Where are we going?
Emma (28:52):
next.
I don't really feel like thetwo of them go together.
Siobhan (28:54):
Oh, okay.
Emma (28:55):
I'm like kind of getting
two totally different flavors.
Siobhan (28:58):
I mean that was part of
the point, but yeah, that's
cool, it's okay.
Yeah, no, it's well-cold.
So next, let's keep going onthe journey.
Rob (29:06):
See if it gets better,
maybe it'll get worse.
Siobhan (29:07):
I don't know.
Rob (29:09):
We're gonna get off the rim
and move to what.
Siobhan (29:11):
The trail.
Rob (29:12):
We have some trail mix.
That was a literal tells.
That was wonderful.
Siobhan (29:17):
So this is like just a
trail mix.
I know nuts on this show havecontinuously been sort of
underwhelming, but that mightstill be the trend.
But this is like a mix ofpecans, almonds, cashews.
There's a little bit of likedried blueberry and cranberry in
there.
Emma (29:35):
So I'm here for it Because
literally it took everything in
me not to get some nuts forthis show.
Siobhan (29:40):
See, I had to fulfill
the nut quota yeah.
Matt (29:43):
Well, you know someone's
gotta do it.
Emma (29:45):
I know.
Siobhan (29:45):
Somebody's got to.
I figured, since I won, I hadbig nuts to fill, so I just did
it.
Matt (29:53):
They're not candied walnut
in there.
Siobhan (29:55):
They're not candied,
they're just regular.
Rob (29:58):
They're plain Good.
Siobhan (30:00):
I don't know.
Rob (30:00):
Yeah.
Siobhan (30:01):
Chris made me get the
trail mix because he thought
nuts would be a good idea.
Emma (30:04):
So if it's not, it's just
all basically Get nuts.
Siobhan (30:07):
It's true, yeah, okay.
Emma (30:09):
I don't know.
Siobhan (30:11):
Underwhelming feels
like very wellmed, everyone's
very wellmed.
Matt (30:13):
No one is excited.
I think that's a good way toput it Very middle of the road.
That's fine, very middle of theroad, I'll take that.
Siobhan (30:18):
I'll take it instead of
it being crap.
Rob (30:21):
I mean so far we have had a
writing this like egregiously
disgusting today, hey, I'm upnext.
Siobhan (30:26):
I know right, Matt's
last, so just wait.
You said it out loud, Rob.
Rob (30:31):
I've seen your offering and
I'm actually hopeful.
Yeah, that's good.
Yeah, I'm hopeful for you, Okay.
Emma (30:37):
I don't know if those two
go together.
Just nuts and nuts.
I'm sorry, so what?
Yeah, okay, I'm normally cheap.
Siobhan (30:44):
I mean they don't
really have like no, you should
not just support me because I'ma female.
If I made poor choices, it'sreally okay.
Matt (30:50):
Drinkables give us the
nuts.
And drinkable take us the nutsaway.
Siobhan (30:53):
I also feel like coming
back.
I did not expect to win this,so it's a really fun.
I'm just gonna have your beerafter.
Oh, I'm happy I'm here too as aringer.
So there's that.
The last item is a chocolatefudge brownie.
Emma (31:07):
Yes, so I feel like listen
, I'm here for.
Siobhan (31:09):
If we're gonna close it
out strong.
I'm hopeful that this is thecase.
Rob (31:13):
I'm getting here we go.
Okay, the brownie, yes, it'svery good from a gas station.
Mm Love the texture of it.
It's not dry.
Siobhan (31:26):
Nope.
Rob (31:26):
No.
Siobhan (31:27):
Oh, I forgot.
Did I say that I went to TurkeyHill?
That's where I got all the food.
Mm the food is from Turkey Hill.
I love Turkey Hill, mm-hmm.
Emma (31:35):
Turkey Hill.
I scream the grapefruit.
They got a lot of like brandstuff like Turkey Hill but you
can not find anywhere else andthey're so good.
Matt (31:41):
And Ashavon was the last
minute ringer.
I did say to her you can gasstation jump if you want, you
can mix it up.
Siobhan (31:46):
a little bit Jumped, I
did.
Rob (31:48):
Yes, yeah, well, I'm Turkey
sheets.
Siobhan (31:52):
Welmed.
Rob (31:53):
Yeah.
Siobhan (31:54):
I'm just gonna eat this
Chex Mix because I love Chex.
Rob (31:56):
I'm sorry, I'm just eating
Chex Mix dude, I know it's
really good.
Siobhan (31:59):
It's really it's good.
Rob (32:00):
The winner of today's
drinkables is Chex Mix.
Emma (32:02):
Well then, that's me,
hooray, Just kidding I don't
know, it's funny, you went withthe Chex Mix because I was
really thinking about combos.
And because it's just such agas station food and I love
combos, but then I just reallydidn't know.
I don't think they pair well, though with salsers, like I just
personally can't.
Rob (32:22):
Well, that's what separates
you from that.
Siobhan (32:26):
That's true.
Yeah well Indeed.
Matt (32:28):
Maybe should we.
Siobhan (32:29):
Are we?
Are we liming it up?
Rob (32:31):
I think we're gonna lime it
up and on that note, limeing it
up, we're gonna swing aroundthe table.
Siobhan (32:35):
Okay, well, you know
what, I'll take a realm.
Rob (32:37):
To our host with the most.
Yes, all right, we're gonna seewhat he's got going on.
Yeah.
Matt (32:45):
So I chose natural lime
white claw here, and instead of
going with one of these fancymixed, I'm gonna try and put
lipstick on a pig cocktailsthat's going on around my table,
right?
Siobhan (32:56):
now Listen.
I was trying to help people out.
Matt (32:59):
Yep, I am gonna go ahead
and I'm gonna let the natural
lime stand on its own.
Rob (33:04):
Well, that's fine, but I
would just like to have you know
you enjoyed my cocktail.
You ass hat.
Siobhan (33:10):
His cocktail was also
not lipstick on a pig, mine for
sure was.
Matt (33:13):
Okay, I'm trying to win
here, so Well, I have to talk
crap on my opponents, okay.
Rob (33:20):
I just you won anything on
your podcast yet.
Matt (33:24):
I cannot confirm or deny
that I've had any victories
whatsoever.
Rob (33:28):
Well, he runs it, but he
could the one time that we
included him with it, and he didnot.
Matt (33:33):
No, I crashed and burned
pretty hard in that one too.
Siobhan (33:37):
So that's okay.
I mean, you know, hostingabilities don't always equal
winning things.
Emma (33:42):
And so also I need to ask
did you pick the lime?
Is that something you normallydrink?
Matt (33:48):
So no, the lime is not a
flavor I normally drink, but I
saw it as an option and decidedfor whatever reason.
Rob (33:54):
I wanted a little bit of a
right.
Matt (33:56):
I wanted a little bit of a
challenge, so I did it does I
never thought about?
Rob (34:01):
that All right.
I'm going to try it by itselfhere real quick, all right.
Siobhan (34:04):
I don't know why it's
called natural lime that like is
.
I don't know why that'sbothering me.
Matt (34:09):
Could be unnatural lime
why?
Rob (34:10):
do they need to add that
you know what it tastes like it,
tastes like Sprite that's goneflat.
Siobhan (34:16):
That's cause you're the
yeah man, it's so funny.
It kind of does, yeah, I know, but that's, I agree with you,
right.
A little bit it's gonna be inall women's.
Though the flat thing iscarbonate carbonation right, and
you still have carbonation inthere.
But you know I'm harkening backto my journey through Seltzer
as well.
Rob (34:33):
What about Sprite?
Like you ever go to like amovie theater or like back in
the day when they had like thesyrup machines?
Right, and it would start torun out just a little bit.
This tastes like it wanted tobe Sprite at one point and it
was like sorry, that's what allSeltzer is.
Siobhan (34:47):
Have you ever heard
people make the joke that
LaCroix is just like if you tooksparkling water and walked it
through a field of like anorchard?
That's what it's like.
It's like a whisper of flavor.
Like that's what they compareSeltzer to.
So it's kind of like, yeah,it's but it's not trying to be
soda, cause it's better thansoda.
Oh look, I did that.
Matt (35:05):
I love that.
Oh whisper, no, that's the jokethat they say.
So I'm gonna start us off whatwe got.
I went to 7-Eleven yeah, hardtransition, hard transition.
Rob (35:15):
I love it, which I would
like to let everybody know.
We have confirmed there is gas.
Siobhan (35:19):
It is a gas station.
Rob (35:20):
It is it is.
Matt (35:21):
I did call that out the
last time.
And here and in Florida.
Thank you for this forth.
Okay, so I found lemon cake.
I'm sticking with my 7-Elevenpastries.
Last time I found thatdelightful strawberry cheesecake
and we're gonna hope we got alemon lime thing going here.
Emma (35:38):
Smells like plastic.
Matt (35:40):
Yeah, I smelled it earlier
and I I thought this was a
Twinkie.
Emma (35:45):
I was really excited.
I was like Twinkie.
Siobhan (35:47):
yes, I'm nervous.
Matt (35:53):
I'll stop that.
Together they're pretty good.
No dude.
Siobhan (35:56):
It tastes like plastic
you cannot get it, not good?
Rob (36:00):
It'll literally make me get
that cheesecake wasn't bad the
last time.
Why don't I put the whole thingin my mouth?
It's all in there now.
Did I do it again?
Oh my god.
Siobhan (36:10):
Matt.
Rob (36:12):
Matt, what was this stored
in?
Was it in a plastic container?
Siobhan (36:16):
No, it tastes like not
a container, it was like a piece
.
It was like saran, it's a trimwrap.
It tastes like saran wrap.
It's not a twinkie that had alemon in it.
Rob (36:24):
No, it tastes like you ever
opened up, like a like a rubber
made tub that's been sitting inyour attic basement For like
years and it had like an oldpope or anything.
Siobhan (36:34):
That's what it tastes
like.
It tastes like I'm eating alemon candle.
Rob (36:38):
Everything is in my mouth
right now?
Yes, and I don't know where togo with it, so I'm chipmunking
the shit out of it.
Emma (36:45):
Have some cells no and I'm
not gonna lie, it's bright.
The lime does not make a betterlime help.
Siobhan (36:51):
No, no, no, no, because
it's fake lime.
Rob (36:56):
I'm sorry.
Siobhan (36:56):
It's natural, lime
natural.
Rob (36:58):
I mean at least remove.
It's a plastic taste for mymouth for like a second.
Siobhan (37:02):
I guess, if you were
going for unnatural and natural,
you hit it right in the middleof the bullseye.
Yeah, so Yikes.
Well, we're off to a greatstart, okay.
Matt (37:13):
This is great.
Rob (37:15):
So next up, I got it down I
got it Amazing, proud of you.
Emma (37:20):
Proud of you.
Yeah, I don't think I couldfinish it.
Siobhan (37:22):
Oh, no, please do not
Rob just made a grave mistake.
Matt (37:27):
Okay, emma puts the whole
fork.
No okay, so let's forget thatever happened the next sure I
can, not sure I can then I hadsuch high hopes.
The next thing that I prepared,I was shocked to find that I
could.
Actually, 7-eleven had all theingredients for one of the
things that I tend to make andtake to parties for my friends
(37:50):
and has gotten rave reviewsOverall by who?
Emma (37:55):
yeah, I don't know I.
Matt (37:57):
Used to.
Like you, I really did andstill do.
I saved you in this episode you, you did, and so what I
prepared was some buffalochicken dip, comprised of some
good chicken in a can some ranchWords don't go together Some
Frank's red hot, some shreddedoh my gosh, you're so me not
(38:23):
shredded chicken.
Siobhan (38:23):
We all know that you
lost me, nope.
Matt (38:26):
Oh sorry, chicken ranch,
ranch dressing and shredded
cheese on top, some shreddedcheddar on top, and this is the
Same recipe that I got from adear friend of mine, shelly's,
who was on an earlier on themini episode with me when we
drank ebbcott she used to makethis for us back in college was
absolutely phenomenal back then.
I still believe it's phenomenalnow, despite what some of the
(38:50):
it's all about what you like.
Rob (38:51):
Listen You're you're wind
up is way too long.
I'm going to tell you that it'salso on.
Emma (38:58):
Not canned chicken.
Matt (38:59):
It's also on a taste of
lime chip from Totinos.
Emma (39:05):
I do love a lime chip.
Matt (39:07):
Yeah, they're not the
Totino's scoops.
Siobhan (39:08):
He's going in.
It tastes like what you, matt, just dropped everything on the
ground.
Matt (39:14):
It's all right, we're good
at my pants.
Caught it, we're fine.
Siobhan (39:16):
Okay, it's delicious.
It is well, I'm not just givingit back, I love a lot of
chicken.
Emma (39:23):
Yeah, I'm embarrassed when
I go to parties because I will
get a whole plate of this andI'll eat it all and I don't.
Siobhan (39:28):
I don't Care if
everybody noticed that I just
finished.
It can chicken the next time.
Emma (39:34):
I just your head when I
think about it.
Rob (39:37):
I'm gonna give you the
benefit of the doubt and go in
for another chip with it on,because the first chip still
tasted like that Horrid lemoncake.
Siobhan (39:43):
Wait, wait, wait.
Can I rewind for a sec?
Matt (39:46):
Can I?
Siobhan (39:47):
give.
Can I give Matt a cosmic chugfor his plastic Lemon cake?
Oh, deserved.
We haven't had one yet.
Cosmic chug embedded.
Rob (40:03):
Chug away, my friend,
that's a lot of lime.
Siobhan (40:06):
Lime, it's very natural
.
Matt (40:08):
Mm-hmm, there he is there
he is man.
Rob (40:14):
That might be the first
time you actually completed a
full cosmic chug this entire run.
Emma (40:22):
Yes, to be fair all right,
I.
Siobhan (40:26):
Like I listen, this is
not bad.
Rob (40:29):
No, it's not.
Siobhan (40:30):
I like this yes.
Matt (40:32):
Yes.
Rob (40:33):
This is this may be, dare I
say, the best thing Matt's done
for any drinkable yes.
I can't believe you made this,I know it's very Like I'm no, my
wife no and actually her.
Siobhan (40:46):
I'm really so it's it's
chicken cream cheese.
Matt (40:52):
It's chicken cream cheese
ranch Frank's red hot and
Shredded cheese on the top.
Can I ask?
Rob (40:58):
and I hope the answer is
yes.
Did you just get like littlesides of like Philadelphia cream
cheese that, like you, wouldnormally spread on a bagel, or
did they actually have like afull block?
Okay?
I need to know because I think,I think it'd be hilarious if he
just got like 18 little sidesof cream cheese and like
scooping out.
Matt (41:16):
So I took a couple
liberties when I made this.
What?
It's coming out so as I walkedaround 7-eleven, they had little
packets of cream cheese.
They had Cheddar, cheddarcheese sticks and some shredded
cheese.
They had little things of creamcheese, but instead of buying
all of them and Making anamalgamation, I happen to stop a
(41:39):
giant afterwards.
Siobhan (41:42):
To save some Little one
.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no.
It's like immediatedisqualification.
Emma (41:53):
No, you're crappy lost.
Siobhan (41:58):
It's a DQ.
Yeah, it's not a DQ, it's a DQ,it's the same ingredients and I
was saving money.
Matt (42:02):
It was this.
Siobhan (42:05):
E equals MC Hammer we
talkin about numbers, listen we
talkin about a DQ.
Rob (42:12):
No, we talkin about
breaking the rules, that's right
, I knew I didn't break therules.
You did, I just bought in bulkelsewhere.
Matt (42:20):
Yes, remember when she
went to Wegmans when we were
supposed to go to a dollar storeyou went to a grocery store.
Rob (42:26):
That's what Wegmans is
Listen.
Matt (42:27):
But it was available and
verified as available in the gas
station.
Emma (42:31):
But that's not the no, no,
no, no, no, no, no.
Stop myself, that's not theplay.
That's not the play.
Siobhan (42:36):
From getting
ingredients at Wegmans.
You know if I didn't questionthis and I didn't even know to
question this.
Rob (42:41):
No, Emma questioned it.
Siobhan (42:42):
She was asking what the
ingredients were and you asked.
So it's an assist, that's whatI'm saying.
Rob (42:48):
Well done, cheers to you.
Siobhan (42:49):
Cheers to the both of
you for snooping that out.
Emma (42:51):
I knew either a wife or
something had to, you know,
because this is just too good, that's right.
Siobhan (42:57):
Sniffing it out, you
guys smell something.
I smell some bullshit.
We should get a glass.
We should get a glass.
Rob (43:01):
Crap you have built.
Listen, I'm taking it away.
It's a chicken dipper, blinds.
I'm taking it away BecauseListen, listen, listen, listen.
It's so good though it's ablinds, it's so good though.
Siobhan (43:13):
She's a deep idiot.
It's lying test about thechicken quality.
Rob (43:17):
It's lying test about where
you got the ingredients.
There were two ingredients.
There were two ingredients thatyou sourced from, at least two
that you sourced Just two, justtwo, just two that you sourced
from.
Siobhan (43:26):
You got Frank's red hot
at 7-Eleven.
Rob (43:29):
Yes, absolutely Okay.
Siobhan (43:29):
I believe that he was
really adamant about it.
Rob (43:32):
I would have liked Dude,
you don't have to pay for those
little cream cheeses.
I also didn't want to fill up abag of cream cheese.
Matt (43:39):
You have any idea how much
cream cheese that would have
been?
Yes, you should have.
That would have been a littlesuspicious.
Siobhan (43:42):
Absolutely.
Could have bought grapefruitjuice from the Wigs.
This girl squeezed grapefruits.
I did For real.
I juiced grapefruit segmentsthat no one even liked.
Okay.
Matt (43:56):
All right.
So, even though I am officiallydisqualified from my own
podcast, but it's delicious, god, I'm eating it all.
Siobhan (44:04):
We're going to wrap up.
Oh God, here we go.
Matt (44:07):
With a mint flavor.
Siobhan (44:09):
Look at this ender.
Matt (44:09):
Which I have on reasonable
authority.
Siobhan (44:12):
You know for like a
bojito situation.
Oh, okay.
Emma (44:15):
Sort of.
I know I need a question Didyou actually get this from the
gas station?
Matt (44:19):
Yes, this came from the
gas station, thank you.
Siobhan (44:21):
I like them in four
packs.
Matt (44:22):
I'm not going to lie.
I do like a peppermint patty,as I did I do not.
Siobhan (44:27):
As I did in the
previous.
Matt (44:29):
Drinkables, I also as.
Emma (44:31):
Rob reaches out, just as
dying to go out.
Matt (44:34):
As I did in the previous
drinkables, I did ask chat GPT
what went with a lime flavor andit said try some mint for a
surprise.
And I said, okay, let's see.
Siobhan (44:43):
And also be a
bullshitter.
That's what chat GPT also toldyou.
Emma (44:47):
It definitely told him
that.
Matt (44:49):
No, like it said save some
money and don't pay $19 to get
the ingredients you get for 10.
Rob (44:55):
So Some of us did.
Matt (44:56):
What's the?
Rob (44:57):
name of the game.
Matt (44:58):
We could have been going
to the dollar store still, you
want to save some dq forthriftiness.
Rob (45:02):
Dude, you could have gone
to the dollar store and gotten
cream cheese for a dollar.
Siobhan (45:05):
Oh, grapefruit would
have been a lot cheaper.
Rob (45:08):
Dollar, cream cheese and a
million grapefruit packages Okay
.
I don't like it.
Siobhan (45:14):
You don't like York of
Edmmer and Patties.
No, I don't like dark chocolate.
Rob (45:16):
I don't like minty.
I feel like I'm brushing myteeth.
Siobhan (45:19):
Yeah, that's okay.
I mean I like them, but I don'tthink this is going to be good.
Rob (45:25):
Surprisingly enough, it
does go with the lime.
It actually does, I'll givethem that you look so mad that
actually worked.
You look so angry.
Siobhan (45:33):
Do you?
Matt (45:33):
know what's funny though.
Siobhan (45:36):
When you think about it
, you know what you shouldn't do
.
Rob, don't have any mosa afterthis, because you ever have like
orange juice after you brushyour teeth, and then you cry.
Matt (45:45):
Oh, do it, Do it, let's
see what happens.
Siobhan (45:46):
Do it, do it.
Matt (45:47):
Do it for the listens.
Siobhan (45:51):
That's gross.
Matt (45:52):
Make sure you bite.
You gotta bite the orc now.
Siobhan (45:55):
Oh, he's gonna sell up
his own drink.
Matt (45:57):
He's gonna try.
Siobhan (45:58):
Of course.
Rob (45:59):
It's not that horrid
toothbrush orange juice
situation.
It doesn't taste great, but Ithink the raspberry is really
saving it Well, that's veryboring.
Siobhan (46:09):
So if you were like for
the listens and then you're
like it's fine, that's veryboring, do it again.
Okay, it's gross, yep.
Emma (46:22):
Is it no?
Uh-oh, yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
Siobhan (46:25):
I don't know if these
two go together but I am Okay,
they're melting in my hand.
Emma (46:30):
That's why I it is.
Yeah, I'm like finger lookinggood here, but I just don't know
if they go together.
Siobhan (46:37):
I don't hate it.
Rob (46:38):
With the lime.
I didn't hate it.
Siobhan (46:39):
It's true.
Rob (46:40):
Shockingly I will say
Alright.
Matt (46:43):
so that brings us to the
voting, if you will.
Siobhan (46:48):
What a journey we've
been on.
Matt (46:49):
Who won and who lost, and
since my dear friends
disqualified me, yeah, you arenot in the running.
Siobhan (46:55):
I'm trying to de-cute.
Matt (46:56):
And none of you will have
any Buffalo Dip on the way out.
Rob (46:59):
What, by the way?
The episode title Chicken Dipof Lives.
However, is that a?
Siobhan (47:03):
spoiler.
I don't know, maybe not,probably not.
Rob (47:07):
Nobody will know until it's
fine.
We get to the Chicken Dip ofLives.
Matt (47:09):
Alright.
So as I was super apprehensiveand totally would not give a
direct answer to who I thoughtwon in the last episode, I'm
going to give it and I hatemyself for it.
Siobhan (47:21):
Who's your?
Matt (47:22):
daddy, who's your daddy?
Rob (47:24):
Jeff Welser Resident of
Cell City Center of Florida.
Shout out, papa.
Matt (47:27):
Welser, he might be hey
Dad, but, rob, I think you won
this one, thank you.
Emma (47:36):
Do you think we're also
partial because we love Wawa and
we go there all the time?
Matt (47:43):
There's no reason, that's
not a reason to vote, did I just
?
Siobhan (47:45):
say a sentence that
makes sense.
Matt (47:47):
You did A delightful trio
of things that work.
A delightful trio of thingsthat work, and it was like one
step to one step and even thoughI didn't like the Chipotle, it
still actually worked.
Siobhan (47:57):
So I just here we go
Goddamn right Grumble, grumble,
grumble.
I think.
Emma (48:01):
I was very high up there
and I'm just going to, you know,
toot my horn, but I think I waspretty close.
Rob (48:07):
I'm going to abstain from
voting so that we can go the
opposite way around the table.
Matt (48:11):
So you can choose whether
or not to give yourself a
deciding vote at the end.
Siobhan (48:14):
Maybe that's his
strategy, Matt.
Matt (48:16):
It's not a bad strategy.
Siobhan (48:18):
Strategy Alright, we're
switching to Google Forms next
time I Okay, so I won't probablybe making the same vote, mostly
because I tend to gravitatetoward savory rather than sweet.
However, shut up.
However, I will say that if Ihad to rank things, I would put
(48:40):
myself in third out of three, because there's not four anymore
, because we've dequeued one.
Matt (48:46):
Thank you for that
reminder.
No problem, I'm here.
What's that knife twisting inmy side?
Siobhan (48:52):
Okay, it's a knife made
of K&Chicken Matt.
Let's be honest though.
Matt (48:58):
She's covered knife.
Rob (48:58):
Let's be honest, though
even if we didn't dequeue you,
you only had.
I would have given myself lastif we didn't dequeue him Two out
of three.
So it's not like you would havewon.
I'm just saying I could haveListen, rob.
Siobhan (49:13):
He voted for you, and
I'm voting for you too, so maybe
take a humble seat.
Rob (49:19):
Oh listen, yes, thank you.
Siobhan (49:20):
I'm just telling him
that that lemon cake destroyed
me.
Yeah, I was really bad.
Rob (49:26):
And I'm very concerned that
I might shit.
Siobhan (49:29):
A block of concrete
later.
Rob (49:31):
It's gonna be plasticky.
Siobhan (49:32):
I'm gonna make the
mistake to put the whole thing
in your face.
Listen, Zelle we only took abite.
Rob (49:36):
Go big or go home.
Siobhan (49:38):
I guess.
Matt (49:39):
That's how I live my life,
Emma you put it in your face,
emma, put it back on the plate.
Siobhan (49:44):
I have voted for Rob's
trio officially.
Rob (49:48):
Thank you.
Siobhan (49:48):
Would you say I'm a
runner-up, though you are
absolutely the runner-up.
Emma (49:53):
Yes, I would agree with
that also.
So much as I love being thewinner, I'm voting for myself.
I have to say I agree with thewawa Woo.
Look at this unanimous.
Matt (50:08):
I love all three of those
things.
Will he vote?
Emma (50:11):
for himself.
They all tasted great with thatcombination.
Rob (50:15):
Let it wash upon me.
It was really good.
Yes, so I must also say that Ibelieve I'm the first two-time
Drinkables winner.
Yeah, that's true, this hurts, that's fair.
Sip me baby one more time, stellar ship.
Siobhan (50:40):
Do you know what I
think is funny?
You won this round and you likepretty much other than your own
drink, which is fair, becauseyou're going to make a drink
that you like, you don't likeanything.
Emma (50:53):
I have to say that
honestly bothers me the most,
because I think that's actuallyreally impressive.
Rob (50:58):
Thank you.
Emma (50:58):
Because Shavon and I are
like this is like our go-to girl
, like summer hangout.
She was like yes, I'm havingwhite gull.
Rob (51:09):
I'll be their gull.
In honor of my win, I'm goingto mix your cocktail with Matt's
lime.
Siobhan (51:15):
Oh, that might be good.
Grapefruit and lime is not abad thing.
Matt (51:18):
I got one finger on sip,
one finger on chug.
Rob (51:21):
Let's see how we're going
to end this one.
Matt (51:23):
Here's how we end it.
Rob (51:25):
What?
It's not great, it's not bad.
Siobhan (51:30):
It's not you want it.
Matt (51:33):
To the victor.
Go to the spoils.
Siobhan (51:35):
Well, well it up.
Thanks for listening.
Everyone Abropped WooDrinkables Cheers.
Matt (51:42):
This episode's boozy quote
comes from Betty White, who
said vodka is kind of a hobby.
