SLCG XV : Battistelli Deposition Part II

Mean Street News welcomes back Chris, my husband, reading Captain Vansant in the second deposition/ interview that occurred in September of 2024.

Katie believes Captain Vansant wanted to get their story straight due to inconsistencies, also some personal matters arise. Present at this interview is Captain Robert Vansant of Lorain County Sheriffs Office, Battistelli Pro Bono Atty Kenneth Lieux, and an attorney from the Ohio State Auditor Office.

This deposition is better than the last & quite hilarious. Just a few spoilers:

• During the recording shit gets hairy and they stop recording whenever convenient.
• Captain Vansant (LCSD) confronts his victim and tries to make it clear he is not in love with her and even though they have mutual friends & known each other through school they aren't associated. (We have the sexting that occurred months prior between two)
• Battistelli makes it clear her and her then boyfriend (prosecutor Tomlinson) were very loud about their relationship.
• Captain Vansant agrees any man in his victims presence finds her attractive.
• The attorney from State Auditors Office questions validity of claims made by Sheriffs Office.
• Jennifer's "attorney" seems to be working more for the Sheriff than his client.
