O cristão rege-se por medidas bem distintas das que vigoram no mundo. Cristo é a sua régua e o seu compasso. Os seus relacionamentos interpessoais inspiram-se no carácter de Jesus, caso contrário dá-se o descalabro habitual. Ninguém se vira sem O adoptar como modelo e guia. No plano conjugal e familiar é a virtude da sujeição mútua que deve vigorar. Sem essa ética de obrigação recíproca ao amor não há paz que resista. É também com base na solicitude e no respeito que as demais interacções familiares precisam de ocorrer, tendo por alvo a excelência relacional. Urge que lar a lar se implante a cultura de agrado ao Senhor e ao próximo. Quando cada elemento da casa tal interiorizar todos saem a ganhar. Até numa dimensão laboral, no meio de tantas injustiças e assimetrias seculares, há que proceder “com um coração sincero e temente a Deus”, tendo por lembrança que “é a Cristo, o verdadeiro Senhor, que se está a servir.” E para não incorrer em eventuais excessos é bom atentar para a placa bíblica: “O que pratica o mal receberá a paga. Não há excepção para ninguém.” Proceda-se, pois, com “justiça e honestidade”, recordando que há “um Senhor no céu” a quem todos, um dia, terão de prestar contas. - jónatas figueiredo
