He is known for his candid online presence and viral Mental Load series on TikTok. Zach is using his platform to educate men about the invisible labor that exists in every relationship. He also focuses on how to take accountability for it.
Zach’s journey begins humbly. He's a new father adjusting to paternity leave and helping at home. Without realizing it, he finds himself adding to his wife’s mental load. “I remember saying out loud, ‘I think I just added mental load for my wife,’ and it hit me,” he recalls. This reflection turns into a viral video, sparking the Mental Load series that now exceeds 300 episodes.
Zach’s unique blend of vulnerability and practicality strikes a chord. “I didn’t just get it from the start,” he says. “I learned it — mostly from women who’ve done the emotional labor of teaching me.” His goal now is to pass that learning forward by helping men build emotional literacy. He helps them to dismantle outdated gender roles and step fully into co-leadership within their homes.
