Meredith's husband (00:00):
This week brought to you by Hungry.
Root, hungry Root, yes, hungryRoot.

Meredith (00:06):
Our beloved Hungry Root.

Meredith's husband (00:09):
All right, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum,
yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.
And so let's do a little tastetest.
Okay, this week.

Meredith (00:16):
Okay, not a taste test .

Meredith's husband (00:18):
We're going to compare ChatGPT to the new
Google AI model, which is GeminiGPT to the new Google AI model.

Meredith (00:23):
Which is Gemini.

Meredith's husband (00:24):
It's the new Google AI mode.
Gemini is what powers it, butit's as I mentioned, I think, a
couple weeks ago.

Meredith (00:33):
Not that I was listening, yeah, or remember, I
was listening.

Meredith's husband (00:36):
Google has that generative search feature,
where you do a search and itcomes up and the first results
are like generated by AI.

Meredith (00:43):
Yes.

Meredith's husband (00:45):
That was technically in beta or something
.
It was experimental mode, right, so it wasn't final.
It has been released in.
What is the final mode now tofree Gmail accounts, not paid,
like Google Workspace accounts?
Yeah, so if you go to Googleand you do a search, you know,
up at the top it says like allimages, videos, maps.

(01:07):
It has that little option.
There is now one called AI mode, oh, and if you click on that,
it's much more similar to thefunctionality of chat, gpt.
Oh, okay, so it's now very andit's now official.

Meredith (01:20):
Oh, what is it called?

Meredith's husband (01:21):
It's called AI mode.
Yeah, it's actually, I think,in terms of like Google is.
One thing they're really notgood at is naming things.

Meredith (01:29):
That's what you've mentioned.

Meredith's husband (01:30):
I kind of like this.
It's just very simple anddirect and it doesn't leave you
guessing.
Clear, yeah.
So anyway, since we have talkedabout this many times in the
past ChatG, gpt versus Googleand Gemini, and what are they
doing?
And chat GPT has an advantage, and blah, blah, blah.

Meredith (01:50):
But you said Google is going to catch up.

Meredith's husband (01:52):
That has been my argument, one of my
arguments.
That has been my argument.

Meredith (01:57):
Just that.

Meredith's husband (01:58):
Well, there's other reasons.
There's reasons why I have subarguments in there.

Meredith (02:02):
Yeah, because you said they take everything from
Google.

Meredith's husband (02:05):
Well, yeah, because when people started
saying, oh, when ChatGPT cameout, it's the SEO killer, SEO is
dead.
And when my first response waswell, where do you think ChatGPT
is getting their informationit's coming from?
a search engine.
Now, technically they say it'scoming only from the search
engine Bing, bing, who.
Technically, they say it'scoming only from the search

(02:25):
engine Bing, who knows?
I kind of doubt that's true.
I figure some of theirinformation might be coming from
Google, but it doesn't matterbecause Google is going to come
out or they have come out nowwith their own AI search mode
and it's going to be based ontheir search engine.
So the whole AI interface isreally just kind of accessing
and digging through searchengines for us.

(02:46):
And another thing I said isthat ChatGPT has an advantage.
Definitely it's more user.
They had a big head start onGoogle.
I think it's probably stillhave an advantage.
But my argument was that Googleis going to catch up.
Google is not just going to sitback and be like, oh well,
somebody came up with a betteridea than us.
I guess we'll just go out ofbusiness.

(03:06):
The underdog.

Meredith (03:09):
Always root for the underdog.

Meredith's husband (03:11):
I can't believe Google isn't ever the
underdog.

Meredith (03:14):
We all have to start somewhere.

Meredith's husband (03:16):
Earlier this week I was working on my
platform, SEIQ, and there's asection, there's a couple of
sections, where I have littlelessons like just how to do X, Y
, Z tutorials.
I didn't I didn't know exactlywhat to call them.
I still don't know what to callthem.
I just call them lessons rightnow.
But I kind of wanted a better.
Yeah, perhaps we'll get to thatin a second.

(03:38):
I kind of wanted a better.
I just wanted something alittle like cute, friendly, kind
of memorable, but still obviouswhat it was.
And I thought, well, I'm justlet me see what chat GPT says,
and also, because Google has thenew AI mode, let's let me see
what they both say.
Let's do the same query andboth of them do the same prompt

(03:59):
and see what they come back as.
So I did that.
I then thought, oh hey, peopleseem to really like the episodes
that we do on AI.
I don't know if they like themor if they just download,
because they get more downloads.
That's the only thing I cantell, but they do get more
downloads.
So I figure, oh, let's do this.
And so I did this.
I did three little tests.

(04:20):
Because this first one, I'll gothrough the results.
Second, Okay.
And you can kind of make up yourown mind.

Meredith (04:26):
Oh, I will.
Are any as good as snacks?
You'll see in a second Okay.

Meredith's husband (04:31):
So then I thought, okay, well, that's not
that you know that single testis.
Once I did, I'm like okay, well, that's not really very
definitive, as we'll see in asecond.
So I did a couple more.
I did one thinking about whatyou, as a photographer, might
use AI for, and so that I typedin a question about blogging for
children's photographers whatshould you blog about?

(04:53):
And then I did one about well,I should probably have something
where I really have.
If I'm going to evaluate theanswers, I should do something
that I know about.
So I typed in how do you becomea totally awesome person?
I'm just kidding.
I asked it something about SEO.
Okay, so let's go through these.

(05:14):
So I'm going to go through eachof them and just kind of read
through what they gave me asresults.

Meredith (05:19):
That sounds good, Kind of quickly.
So the first one the first one.

Meredith's husband (05:22):
I just said what is a cute name for a
bite-sized piece of learningcontent.
So that's my lesson, right?
Those are my lessons, andChatGPT initially came back with
just one suggestion.
I said please expand upon that.

Meredith (05:36):
What was that one suggestion?

Meredith's husband (05:38):
That was Brain Snack.

Meredith (05:41):
Interesting.

Meredith's husband (05:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I asked to expand that a
little bit, Okay, because what Ihad gotten?
I first tried the Google AImode and it came back with a
longer list, so I now have alist from both, and each of the
lists are in three categories.
In ChatGPT, the categories arefood-themed, plant-nature-themed
, and magic and fantasy.

Meredith (06:02):
Wow, you're just talking my language.
Yeah, all three.

Meredith's husband (06:05):
Yeah, so let's go through the chat GPT In
the food themes.
Here are their ideas Brainsnack, knowledge crumb, learning
morsel, thought popcorn andidea slice.
Not amazing, I'm not blown awayby those.
But to be honest, or to be fair, I should say that prompt that

(06:26):
I gave it is pretty vague.
You can get better responses ifyou make your prompts more
detailed.
Okay, the next section, theplant and nature, themed from
ChatGPT.
The ideas were idea sprout, brain bloom, learning leaf, seed
and Thought Twig.
Equally not really impressivethere, although I did kind of

(06:48):
like the idea of the seed.

Meredith (06:51):
It's quite visual.
They've done quite a lot withthat.

Meredith's husband (07:03):
Because there are two sections where I
have lessons and one of thosesections is just more
concept-based, like explainingconcepts, and then the other
section is more likeover-the-shoulder demo, tutorial
type stuff.
So for those conceptual lessonsthe idea of a seed seemed
appropriate, although I don'tlove knowledge seed.
Okay, the final category heremagic and fantasy, and the
suggestions here areThoughtSpark, idea Potion,

(07:27):
wisdom Wand, learning, charm andBrain blink.

Meredith (07:31):
Rain blink.

Meredith's husband (07:33):
Brain, brain , brain blink, brain blink.

Meredith (07:36):
Raindrops.

Meredith's husband (07:37):
Okay, so yeah Me, not crazy about them.
Okay, Same Did the same thingin Google's new AI mode, and it
came back also in threedifferent categories.
The first is general andplayful, the second category is
emphasizing ease and speed, andthe third category is
metaphorical and whimsical.

Meredith (07:58):
Oh, I like the first and third.

Meredith's husband (08:00):
Okay, so let's go through these.
In the first one, the firstcategory, general and playful,
the ideas were learn bites, knowledge nibblers, brain snacks
, mind munchies, smarty bits hey, Mind munchies, smarty bits.
And info morsels.

Meredith (08:17):
I actually like smarty bits.
Smarty bits is so hilarious,it's almost smarty pants.

Meredith's husband (08:24):
And it says and one thing, a difference here
is the list in Google's AI mode, each of those comes with a
kind of explanation.
So, like it says, smarty bitsand then a playful name, using a
candy reference for a sweetlearning experience Ah, you know
.
The value of that definition is, you know, tbd.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah, but you know it's there, it's kind of nice to
have Okay.
So those are not bad.
I mean one of them is the exactsame Brain.

Meredith's husband (08:48):
Snacks, yeah , okay.
Second, those are not bad.
I mean, one of them is theexact same brain snacks, but
okay.
Second category, emphasizingease and speed.
The ideas are quick learn, swift study, snap insights and
flash facts.
All right.
You know, yeah, and the finalcategory metaphorical and
whimsical Learning nuggets.

(09:15):
Wisdom drops, insight sproutscurio capsules.
Insight, insight, insightsprouts Curio capsules Insight
insight, insight sprouts.
Oh, I see what you're saying.
Yes, an insight, insight.
That's cute, that is cute andskill sprinkles yeah.

Meredith (09:27):
Okay, that's a lot of crunch.

Meredith's husband (09:30):
Comparing those two, I kind of like what
Google came back with a littlemore, I would say by a thin
thread.
Yes, it's not definitive, butno they're both mediocre.
I'm really not that impressedwith either one.

Meredith (09:43):
See my problem with AI .
It's not original thateverything they say has been
said before.
Yeah, of course.

Meredith's husband (09:51):
So I decided let's try another question.
Yes, that might helpdistinguish the two.
So I try to think of somethinglike you might actually, or a
photographer and a question thatyou might have for AI.
So I type in what should I blogabout as a professional
children's photographer inBrooklyn, new York?

Meredith (10:11):
Very nice.

Meredith's husband (10:11):
Type that into both.
Okay, so let's go over whichone do you want to do first?

Meredith (10:15):
Oh, I think we should stay with the routine.

Meredith's husband (10:17):
Okay, chat GPT.

Meredith (10:19):
Yeah, and again three categories.

Meredith's husband (10:22):
Oh, actually no more than three.
I'm going to just try tosummarize these as best I can.
So, first of five categories iscalled Brooklyn focused guides
and lists, and it gives someexamples best places for a
family and children's photoshoot in Brooklyn.
Top five parks in Brooklyn fora magical outdoor kids' photos.
Okay, you get the idea.

(10:43):
Not bad, not bad.
Yeah, not bad.
People do these.
And I feel like it comes up withthese ideas because people do
these, because these are prettycommon.
Yeah, category number two tipsfor parents and families yes.
Tip number one how to prepareyour child for a stress-free
photo shoot.
Number two what to wear for aBrooklyn family photo shoot.
Styling tips for kids andparents.

(11:04):
Number three how to get naturalsmiles from shy or energetic
kids.
Okay, we get the idea that oneactually is not bad.
That's especially for you.
Yeah, that's kind of one ofyour secret sauces, I would say.
Yeah the third category, storytelling and showcasing your
work.
Tips are behind the scenes of atypical children's photographer
everyone wants bts everyonewants what behind the scenes?

(11:28):
Yeah uh.
Second tip how I capture themagic of childhood in every
frame.
Third idea the client story.
A magical fall session atProspect Park.
Another one favorite momentssweetest kids reactions I've
ever photographed.
That's actually not.

Meredith (11:44):
That's very nice.
That could be cute.
That's sweet.
I like the sweetness yeah.

Meredith's husband (11:47):
Actually, I really kind of like that.
One Good job ChatGPT yeah, okay.
Fifth and final categoryexpertise building and SEO
boosters Ooh, okay.
Tip number one how to choosethe right children's
photographer in Brooklyn Wow,everybody's done that, yeah.
Tip number two why professionalchildren's photography is worth

(12:08):
the investment yes, thepsychology behind capturing
genuine expressions in kids.

Meredith (12:13):
Ooh, I'm interested in that.

Meredith's husband (12:15):
Yeah, that's kind of the well, maybe not the
same, but it's the one.
Yeah, same boat and five signs.
You've picked the perfect photoshoot location.
Okay, yeah, all right, whatever.
Not bad, honestly not bad.
A couple good ideas in there, afew gems.
Let's jump over to the GoogleAI mode.
Good ideas in there.

(12:37):
Yeah, let's jump over to theGoogle AI mode.
Same same question Categories.

Meredith (12:42):
Oh, actually there's a whole bunch of things here,
yeah.

Meredith's husband (12:44):
It's a pretty big list.
I'm going to summarize a couplemajor category, three major
categories, and then those arebroken down.
Number one showcase your workand expertise.
The first point in thiscategory is recent session
spotlights, and then it gives acouple examples.
So this is like a bullet listwith lots of bullets indent.
It's actually formatted quitenicely, I think.

(13:05):
So recent session spotlightsand then it gives examples.
Quote a fun family session atProspect Park.
End quote I guess that's thename of the blog.
And then it says share photosand stories from a recent shoot,
emphasizing the fun and uniqueaspects of photographing kids.
Okay, kind of generic, but I dolike the.
It's very detailed.

Meredith (13:25):
It's kind of similar to the last thing on ChatGPT.

Meredith's husband (13:28):
Anyway, let me go to the next one.
Next example in this recentsession spotlight.
It says quote the name of theblog would be Newborn Magic in a
Brooklyn Home End.
Quote Showcase a newbornsession discussing the
challenges and joys of capturingthose early moments.
Okay, two examples of basicallythe same thing.
Then, category number twobehind the scenes A day in the

(13:51):
life of a Brooklyn kidsphotographer.
Give readers a peek into yourprocess from preparation to
post-processing.

Meredith (13:59):
I don't I think that's I think it's great.
Yeah, I'm just.
All I'm thinking is oh my God,that's so time consuming.

Meredith's husband (14:04):
Yeah, that, yeah, that would be a time, but,
but also it is a not just, Ithink, a blot.
That's something that peoplewho are interested in hiring you
would love to look at.

Meredith (14:14):
It's quite a valuable nutritious nugget.

Meredith's husband (14:17):
Yeah, the second one in this category of
behind the scenes is tips forkeeping kids happy during photo
shoots.
Share practical advice forparents and maybe even fun
activities you use to engagechildren.
Okay, similar, similar tosomething that ChatGPT.
This seems a little more human, yeah but it's more it is more
detailed.
It's more fleshed out.

(14:38):
Third category technical tipsand advice.
An example here choosing thebest time of day for outdoor
photo shoots in Brooklyn.
Discuss how lighting affectsphotography and the best times
for outdoor shoots in your area.
That's a good one.
Yeah, I like it.
Second tip here what to wearfor your family shoot.
I feel like everybody's donethat.
That's good advice too, yeah, people always want to know.
Like if not for SEO, then it'ssomething you could send to your

(15:02):
clients right before theirshoot, right, you know, a couple
days before, so they have timeto do laundry.

Meredith (15:07):
Mm-hmm or shop.

Meredith's husband (15:08):
Fourth category favorite sports and
local focus.
Fourth category favorite sportsand local focus.
What Favorite sports and localfocus?

Meredith (15:16):
No, I heard it, I just sports.

Meredith's husband (15:18):
Okay, first tip my favorite Brooklyn
locations for children's photoshoots and highlight visually
appealing spots like BrooklynBridge Park, dumbo or Prospect
Park with tips for shootingthere.
Okay, now that's prettyspecific.
The second tip here capturingthe charm of Brooklyn kids,
local inspiration.

(15:38):
Share photos that capture theunique personality and style of
children in your community.
I'm not crazy about that one atall.

Meredith (15:44):
I like that one.
Oh really, yeah, I like thatone because that gives you an
opportunity to showcasedifferent kids in different
places.
I like that one.

Meredith's husband (15:53):
Okay, Well if you like it, then yeah, okay.
The second major category hereis attract clients and build
community.
And then there are threesubtopics here.
Number one, faq and clientguides, and it has examples
preparing your child's milestonephoto shoot, address common

(16:14):
questions and provide achecklist Again good to have,
probably even just for peoplewho have already booked with you
.
Oh, 100%.
Not necessarily for SEO.
I'm going to skip over down tothe final category here Boost
your blog and online presence, and this is for what they call
SEO optimization, which I alwayskind of think is funny when

(16:36):
people say SEO optimization, because SEO stands for search
engine optimization, and so whatyou are saying is search engine
optimization optimization.
Okay, seo optimizationincorporate relevant keywords
like Brooklyn children'sphotographer, family
photographer, brooklyn, newbornphotography, nyc, et cetera.

Meredith (16:55):
Okay, yeah, it's not basic.

Meredith's husband (16:58):
Yeah, that's super basic.

Meredith (16:59):
Almost too basic.

Meredith's husband (17:00):
Very very basic.

Meredith (17:01):
Oh my God, you're so basic.

Meredith's husband (17:03):
The second example here is optimize blog
posts.
Titles, meta descriptions andimage alt text.
Okay, yeah, like super, supervague.
Verging on not good advice, like optimize your meta
descriptions yeah, verging onnot good advice, like optimize
your meta descriptions?
Yeah, you don't.
You don't really need to dothat, you just got to make sure
you have them, okay.
Second category underneathboost your blog and online
presence.

(17:23):
Engage with your audience.
Examples encourage comments andquestions in your blog posts,
share your blog posts on socialmedia and invite engagement.
So I like the idea of shareyour blog posts on social media.
I'm not crazy about encouragingcomments and questions on your
blog posts.
That's can become a nightmare.

Meredith (17:41):
Oh really, it doesn't help, oh spam.

Meredith's husband (17:44):
So it can help.
Yeah, Engagement like Googlewill recognize engagement.
But the problem is, when youopen up your blogs to comments,
you're going to get most.
You're going to get like99.9999999% spam.
Of all the clients I've everhelped manage their websites and
most of them were on WordPressI don't think I have ever once

(18:05):
seen a legitimate comment.
Okay, they started strong.
Yeah, they did.

Meredith (18:11):
But a little bit weak on the exit and I still kind of
give the advantage there toGoogle.
Yeah, yes, yes, but again it'slike two soggy crackers.

Meredith's husband (18:24):
Okay, so the third one, the third question,
so those are two.

Meredith (18:29):
We just covered two questions, yeah.

Meredith's husband (18:31):
Hold on, I got to find it.

Meredith (18:32):
Oh, please do Take your time.

Meredith's husband (18:34):
Okay, so this one, this is the one where
I thought, well, I should askabout something I know a lot
about, yes, so I can reallyevaluate the quality.

Meredith (18:42):
Yeah, yeah.

Meredith's husband (18:43):
So I said what are some SEO tips for a
local business owner there?

Meredith (18:48):
we go.

Meredith's husband (18:48):
Okay, chat GPT here, here, woo, holy cow,
10 different categories, whoa,I'm not going to go through all.
I mean, I'm going to try toabbreviate this.
Chat GPT.
Number one claim and optimizeyour Google business profile.
Yeah, please, definitely.
Number two use local keywordsnaturally.
Yeah, please, definitely.
Number two use local keywordsnaturally.

(19:08):
Yeah, I like that one too.
Use keywords naturally, as itfits in, don't feel?
That you have.
Yeah, exactly, there is one thathas three bullet points.
There is one thing here that Idisagree with.
It says place keywords in yourpage.
Titles Meta descriptionsdoesn't matter.
Meta descriptions does notmatter at all Headers and

(19:29):
homepage content.
The rest of these are kind ofbasic.
Number three optimize formobile.
Yeah, that's important, but ifyou're on WordPress or
Squarespace or ShowIt, that'susually going to be done for the
most part for you, except in mycase Number four create
location pages if relevant.

(19:50):
Is that yeah?
So location pages if you livein a place where there are
multiple neighborhoods.
So if you were targeting, say, brooklyn, you would talk about
Park Slope, you talk about Dumbo, you talk about Brooklyn Bridge
Park, clinton Heights?

Meredith (20:04):
Yeah.

Meredith's husband (20:05):
I've had clients who do that.
That's good advice if it'sappropriate.
Definitely for somebody likeyou, you would want to focus on
Park Slope because that's whereyou are located.
Yes.
Point number five get localbacklinks and it says partner
with other local businessescafes, event planners, kids'
clothing boutiques forcross-promotion In terms of SEO,
yeah, that's super.

(20:26):
Yeah, yeah, local backlinksvery good.
Number six use structured data.
This is kind of technical, butthat's, I'm not even going to
get into it.
It's fairly technical.
Again, on platforms likeSquarespace, should be done for
you, although, to be honest, squarespace does it incorrectly,
unfortunately, and it doesn'twork but nothing you can do

(20:47):
nothing you can do.
Point seven post localizedcontent.
So pretty similar.
It's saying talk about yourlocal areas, things that are
local.
Point number eight encourageand manage reviews everywhere.
And then it says Google'snumber one, but also get reviews
on Yelp, facebook, nextdoor, thumbtack or any other platform
where locals might search.
I actually like the fact thatit came up with those

(21:10):
suggestions like those, exactlike Google, yelp, facebook, but
, yes, get reviews Won't helpwith SEO so much, but it's good
to have reviews.
Actually, I take that back.
It probably is good for yourSEO to have reviews on Google.
Yes.
Number nine of 10, consistencyis critical.
And then and this is for whatwe call your it says NAP, n-a-p,

(21:34):
which stands for name, addressand phone number.
And, yeah, those need to bevery consistent everywhere
they're listed.
So, on your, on your website,on your Google business profile,
on your Yelp page everywhereneeds to be identical.
That is super important, sotrue, yes.
And then number 10, monitorwith tools.
It says things like set upGoogle search console to track,

(21:56):
use Google analytics.
So that's all.
That stuff is, to be honest, pretty good.
Let's jump over to Google Now.
I have high expectations herefor Google, since it is Google
Right.

Meredith (22:09):
And considering chat, gpt mentioned them in at least
two of their categories toGoogle.

Meredith's husband (22:12):
Now I have high expectations here for
Google, since it is Google Rightand, considering chat, gpt
mentioned them in at least twoof their categories.
So let's see Number one hey, optimize your Google business
profile, okay.
And then it breaks that downinto number one.
It says claim and verify, givesa little explanation of how to
do that.
Fill out every sectionthoroughly and accurately,
including business hours, services and contact details.
And then the fourth point highquality photos.

(22:33):
Then it says uploadprofessional photos of your work
, studio or equipment.
And then the fifth point hereencourage and response reviews.
Okay, that's really good.
Basically the same point thatChatGPT had in number one, but I
think it is more helpful.
Yeah, exactly Okay.
Number two from Google keywordresearch and implementation.

(22:54):
What it's saying here issimilar to ChatGPT's point
number two ChatGPT, remember, said use local keywords.
Naturally, this is kind ofsaying the same thing, but in a
much drier format.
Keyword research andimplementation same type of
stuff, though, yeah.
Point number three on-pageoptimization Again a little dry

(23:15):
and technical sounding, but yes,and the points here are
location-specific landing pages, like the location pages we were
talking about.
Local content, nap, consistency, schema markup, which is the
structured content.
It's also called schema markup.
So same things.
There is more description here.
I will say that is helpful, like when it's under NAP

(23:38):
consistency.
It says ensure your businessname, address and phone number
NAP are accurate and consistentacross your website and all
online listings.
Like yes, that is a very goodtip.
Schema markup yeah, I would get.
Like, that's the one I said Iwasn't going to get into because
it's technical.
Point number four link buildingand citations.

(23:59):
Yeah, yeah, like absolutely, and it says citations here.
We've talked about this before.
Citations are a very specifictype of link.
Yes, and it's.
Again, this is the languagebeing used here is more.
It's not as friendly and casual.
It's more like link buildingand citations.
Right, Whereas chat GPT saidget local backlinks.

(24:24):
Yeah.
But under in this category inGoogle it says local directories
, local backlinks and guestblogging, and then it gives some
explanation of each of thosethree.
It is very good.
Point number five mobileoptimization, has a couple of
points here, again, very good.
Category number six track yourprogress.
Again, google Analytics, google, search Console, local rank

(24:47):
trackers.
But, to be fair to Google, google is not endors Search
Console, local rank trackers.
But you know, to be fair toGoogle, like Google is not
endorsing any of these answers, these things are just coming
from a list of sources, but it'snot like Google is actually
suggesting these things.

Meredith (25:00):
Right, can you hear Buster snoring?

Meredith's husband (25:01):
I can always hear Buster snoring.
I hear Buster snoring in mydreams.
And then there's a finalcategory here, key takeaways
Local focus emphasize yourpresence and services within
Brooklyn.
Consistency some details.
Quality content it gives somedetails.
Engage with your communitygives some details.
Monitor and adapt it gives somedetails.

(25:23):
Pretty good, I think that'spretty solid but a little dry.
I think the chat GPT there winsfor just being kind of friendly
and casual.
But again, I think in terms ofthe actual information.
I want to give the nod toGoogle.

Meredith (25:41):
Yeah, I feel the same.

Meredith's husband (25:43):
I don't know what do you think between those
two Me, or are you asking?

Meredith (25:48):
a listener I kind of feel the same way.
I feel that they both coverpretty much the same things.

Meredith's husband (25:56):
Yes.

Meredith (25:56):
And I think they're both helpful in their own way.

Meredith's husband (26:00):
I agree I think Google is a bit more
helpful here.
And I will say remember when wewere talking about ChatGPT and
their search features, severalepisodes again and I said well,
several episodes ago, and I saiddon't think that Google is not
going to catch up, they aregoing to do something similar.

(26:22):
Well, this is very, verysimilar.

Meredith (26:25):
Very similar.
It would be nice if they couldtake it and run with it.

Meredith's husband (26:29):
Oh, I'm sure they are.
Oh, absolutely, but for rightnow, I think this new AI mode
has gone a long ways in catchingup to what ChatGPT is doing In
terms of you and I using it asconsumers.
So one area that ChatGPT stillhas a, i'm'm sure, massive
advantage is they are poweringall these online tools where you

(26:51):
sign up for some service andit's like in the has a.
You know it says powered by AIor whatever.
They're most likely using chatGPT.
I don't think they're usingGoogle, but for you and I,
something else I really likeabout Google is its second
nature.
If you're used to going toGoogle, it is literally just one

(27:11):
tiny click away, whereas atleast for me, going to ChatGPT
sometimes just logging intoChatGPT can take a couple
minutes, it's just like fourseconds.
So Google has the integrationfactor going forward.

Meredith (27:24):
Yes, this is true.

Meredith's husband (27:24):
They're making it very easy to use.
Correct factor going forward.
They're making it very easy touse, so maybe in an upcoming
episode I'll do something abouthow I use AI for SEO purposes,
for both myself and for yoursite.

Meredith (27:35):
They would be bountiful bites.
