new partner for the month, and that is the Sessions.
They run an event that is focused on bud tender
education or just education in general within the industry. Their
first event was at Vehicle City out in Flint. Groovy

doing the education portion, So we're working with them. The
event is September twenty seventh, and then the month it's

(01:38):

give this a shout out to all the partners. Will
thank you for us supporting us, check them out all
of the all listening. If you show them love, we
appreciate that. So tech us. Let's jump into this. Fumi
Mounse review groovy.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah, so jumping in the review it's just rosent. Let's
see what we got here by Fumi Mounts. I've actually
never heard of Fumi Mouns. I believe my someone has
told me that they are connected to another brand. Forgive me,
I can now remember who. So that doesn't really do.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
As much good.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
But also I don't want to get it wrong, and
you know then I'm wrong throwing names out there. Right,
So it's Red Pop cross with Sunset Suber that that
is then crossed with Sour Diesels. So they never actually
named the red pop and sunset shrub. They just crossed,
so I said, shru, excuse me, so that's no name.
And then but it's got the terpenes limoning mercing little Loul.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Which was a little bit bigger. It's hard to read.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
And then THHC is seventy two point nine percent and
zero percent CBD.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
It's kind of I said, what's the terps though, I
mean small average it has the terps has the breakdown
of the strain. I mean, it's got all the strain
there that's in the rosin, that's got percentage. I mean
I wish it had just had the percent of the
terpene profile and that.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
He has the data his package. And it really wasn't
that old or anything. I mean, like you said, listen
out the terps. I mean it's not the big three
as I like to call newm limaning Beta Caaffeleen Mercin
actually has linna lu in there, so that's cool.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Love some lintle loul.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
This is actually I'm pretty I can't remember if it
was little Little Mercy little uh limoning or if it
was mercing lintle loul and Beta Carea Athleen, but that
Ocean's Driveway had years ago. Go Like Lynna Loewel was like,
when it's in the top three, it's very calm, calming.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
What would you give it on packaging out of ten?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I probably assume like seven and a half eight because
it's like pretty good, Like I just wish I had
a little more details of percentage or like, you know.
The thing about this is like the parents are the
name because there's no real name to this strain, you know,
so it's like tendically we have the genetics because they're
right there.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
I mean, that is the name. No, it could just
be a mix of those three. It's a mix mix.
What do you mean, like they just maybe had all
three genetics and mixed them made the rizin.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Well yeah, but it says these two are cross I'm
assuming they cross red pop but since that sherb and
then crossed it with sour diesel, just the way it's
worded because they're like parentheses, I guess I'm going off
my math.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Rules, Like I don't know if they're doing math rules,
but that's how it's labeled. It makes sense.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
So I assume those two were just like they crossed
red pops on s SHRB never named it, and then
maybe they just kept it try to something else.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Either way, Yeah, we'll get into it. See what happens.
It's a little more funk then I was expecting with
the little mule in there. Oh maybe this is the
first smell.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Long, I'm almost getting like a like a licorice mental move.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Interesting. I don't know what I'm selling there, interesting licorice,
not black liquorice. But take a little dab so you
can keep that up. If I smell and stuff. Because
I don't have a dab. My mind is gone. It
is broken, broken, broken. I wonder the gas, which I
would assume would be the diesel smell. That's that's why

(05:32):
I grabbed it. Was the sour diesel.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I saw a sour duse link and honestly, like I'm
blanking on the price right now, but I'm pretty sure
it was really cheap.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
It was like twenty bucks right now. Yeah, I was
there with you. I think it was too Yeah, So
I mean for what?

Speaker 2 (05:46):
And I think that's why we want to try it,
because now we're seeing all this value stuff on the shelf.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I think it might have been twenty five. We got
it for twenty type of shit either way.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
We got it for twenty bucks, like it's a value rozin,
so this is affordable by most.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Try to sugar. I feel like I get almost I
know it's not there, but maybe it's the Limoni E
Mercy mix. I feel almost a pine Maybe that's what.
Maybe it's the pine. I keep saying liquorice, but not
black leaders though I don't smell liquors. I have more
of like a pine sweet or something like that sweet
pine mm hmm. With funk, get a little definitely funk
in there. Yes, yeah, I just get a little more funky,

(06:23):
not given eight. It's not really so mixed. There's nothing
really that sticks Out's what's interesting me like, and I
don't really smell anything lavender as well, and then I
know it's a Linda Louis. I don't really smell that.
So I'm assuming the mix of the three is given
off some type of different obviously a roma.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
In the funkiness, like sour, funk like funk. I wouldn't
say sour in the taste, though you do fine like
the sour. You do like the sour funkiness to.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
It, right right, no sense? Well that's good at least
I mean you wanted some sour funk with him, and
the reason why we pick that's all. I really smells funkiness.
The funkness does smell, I mean does is the most
prominent thing in there. But something about that. I gave
it a on aroma what about you groovy and then

(07:06):
jump into your flavor. For me, it wasn't super potent
like smell. I mean I had to really get in there,
maybe like a seven six seven, because it's.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
There, just gotta really stick your nose into it. Yeah,
I could see that his next consistency, uh flavor and
then consistency. I'm gonna get into consistency now just because
like because like I want to say something about this.
I'm gonna pull it up on the cant game. To me,

(07:41):
this is a little dry.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
And I'm only saying that because it's like, I don't
know about you when you pulled it off, but it
seemed dry. It's almost like a crumble.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
It's not horrible, you know, it's just a little dry.
But if your I just feel like, you know, you
couldn't just roll this into a perfect don't. I mean
really you did to add some heat, you know how?
You kind of like push them sometimes. It's not bad though,
I mean it's stable.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
It's just a little dry.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Taste wise, I got more of the funkiness than anything.
Was that a fifteen on the taste?

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Yeah, I mean it's not horrible. I didn't mind it
for the value too.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
It's not bad like ten to eleven twelve maybe, well way,
how do you.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Feel it's all right? Probably like eleven. I had a
little bit of flavor notes to it, but not super flavorful.
Nothing really stood out to me on it. On the
specific taste, I had the funk, but I didn't like pot.
My mouth is a little watery though, So I mean
I can't hate there. Yeah you two? Yeah, so not

(08:56):
not horrible. I mean that's so I said.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
The consistency is probably I mean, like may, I'll give
it eleven and a half half on the taste because, like
I said, it wasn't out of this world.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
He said, nothing really.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Stuck out where, Like I'm like, wow, right, but it
wasn't bad by any means like I no, no, not
at all. It tastes it tastes mayby twelve. I'm really
just trying to give it some love. But the consistency
I really don't like because you really it's not great
for donuts and it's really not like that like nice.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Really, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I think I'm reaching a little bit on that taste too.
I think eleven is fine, but the consistency's out of
ten or fifteen ten ten.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
That this is where I'm a little It's where I
don't know what to give it because it is a
it's a weird consistency where it's gonna be great for
donuts and dabbing.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
It's fine, though, but I feel like it's just like
a little bit a little bit more little letter litll
turpier with a shine maybe a little bit so like six, Nah,
I'd go a little higher because you could still put
a donut. It wasn't like the stuff I hates where
it's like crumbling and it just crumbles in your hand.
It completely.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, you could make a donut if you really just
push it. Yeah, some patient, So that's not horrible. There's
probably worse consistency out there. I wish it was just
well yeah, I mean, I don't like this is better
than a sap because when it's sappy.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
They yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Unless it's like a saucy sad because they can drip
with a hot knives. Then it's actually good stuff. But
I mean, like stay, that's just sticky.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Correct correct, Well, that's yeah. If a little bit more
malleable for my rosin personally, I like myself a little
bit more better, probably a seven cool? Yeah, I said six,
Oh my bad? Uh? Facts and high?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
No, I mean I just I just that's all I
got for it, because I prefer like a little wetter.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I'd rather just like you know, drop it than dry.
What was it? Facts and high? Facts and high?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
It's actually a mild buzz I actually feel it. It's
really not bad, like I said, I it's it's not
bad for value stuff, Like I really can't complain what
is it?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Out of ten? Fifteen, fifteen fifteen strikes fifteen?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Honestly, I think that's where I'm probably like shocked about
said It's like nothing really stuck out about it.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
But I'm like buzzed, so maybe like a thirteen Okay, yeah,
I got a nice little uh definitely more on the
body side, that's what. But I like that. That's why
when I felt that, I was like, nice, it's not
super real like super Poltan but feels good after a
long day. This would probably be like an like not
knock you out if I try on TV show and
watch it.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
A good way to put it, though, because I wouldn't
say it's like whoa, it's so strong, But I mean,
I'm like, if I like the buzz that I just got,
like you know what I mean, I think that's kind
of my impartial to it.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I like it. And then for strength, you know, i'd
probably give it probably like eleven ten, ten eleven. It's
not super strong, but it's a nice it's a nice rea.
I don't need to like jump and take another dab,
but if I did take another dab, i'd probably be
kind of stune. I'm right there with you.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Eleven twelve because like I said, I really enjoy the
buzz that I'm feeling.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
I'm reading that more than the strength. And then value.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Twenty bucks. I can't remember it was twenty bucks out
the door. It was like under but I just I
think it was literally twenty dollars out the door, because
if I remember correctly, it might have been like seventeen
fifty or something, cause I remember I was being like, wow,
twenty dollars out the door or I.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Remember saying something to that accord.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
So it's twenty dollars or less somehow, which might have
been like eighteen, you know, just with a two bucks
I'm thinking, but that's crazy to me, twenty dollars Rosin like, so,
I mean it's a good rice you really can't value.
And that's why I said when getting it a little dry,
I'd rather be a little dry than a year old
with no terms.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Really was bad. I'm assuming you'd give it ten out
of ten, probably nine, nine, nine out of ten.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I mean value would be like this was fire stuff
for twenty bucks, like you know, I mean that would
be a ten out of ten. Like now I'll give
it nine at ten because I'm not disappointed.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
I wasn't really trying to rip on the consistency. I really,
I just don't like this consistency.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
You prefer more little letter will shine to it are
and r hmm, that's fifteen. I would recommend re purtches
because everyone's always trying to everyone's on a lot of
people are on budgets. So if you're looking for a
budget Rosin, this's something you could go pick up. Well,
I would get you could still do some donuts, maybe

(12:48):
this one, this flavor. I don't know about all the flavors,
because if some flavors might be a little bit more
snappier than others, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
But for some donut rods and or some value rods,
that's really not bad really if I was just to
recommend it for what it is.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
But there's also other brands at twenty, so we're gonna
we're gonna be reviewing those, and I will let you
know our fur value, let you know which ones were
actually liking the best out of private value. So it's tough,
but like right now, of course, yeah, if someone's like, hey,
what's good value?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
If someone was like fumi, I would also say like hey,
like are you looking for stuff to dab? But like
if they were saying donuts, like this is fine for donuts,
like you said, yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
This consistent, this this one in particular, I don't know
if all of them aren't right, you don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Well if I say, you can't recommend the whole brand, yeah,
but yeah, it's not bad.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I have to try more Power Diesel, Sunset, trber Cross.
It's right there on the edge for me, Like I
really it's up.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
I don't know if I would recommend this specific brand,
but I also want to close my mind to the
brand because it wasn't bad. I didn't feel I don't
feel ripped off, as I always like to say, right,
you say it all the time, so I don't feel
ripped off. So I would try food milts again. Would
I get this strain again? I don't know, you know
what I mean, maybe you know, I don't know, it depends.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
I was more diesel to means, more like straight dat gas. Yeah,
and it had a little bit in there, but it
was that uppers tiva, a little bit of it, you know,
like you fork or something.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
But yeah, it wasn't like like when we davided in
an Amsterdam that ship was funky.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Well that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
It's like like there was a little bit in there,
so I was like, oh shit, maybe this's a little
fun of that. And that might have been from the
Sherb though too, because Sherb's got some gas too in
some of those ses.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
I do like. That's why I said.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I don't even know if I really was sure or
sour funk that we were tasting, But you know, I
don't know why I was getting that sweetness. I felt
like it was like liquorice Day was getting what did
you say again with the sweet pine? Pine?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Interesting?

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Pine really got to dig in there though, So yeah,
I don't know, I think unfortunately, I don't know if
this would pass for me. But I definitely wouldn't close
my mind to females by any means.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I just want to try more of their brands. Intrigued.
Based on first scores, it was Upper Seas was born
right there, you know, So we'll give it up.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Giving it because bad is like but fail is when
we're like, I mean, like this we got through.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
It's not like I feel ripped off. That's a big thing.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
So, but I also don't want to be like, yeah,
try those like sor right. You know, for what it is,
you can't really complain two dudes doing ten bucks on something.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
It's like whatever, Well, yeah, that's that's what I'm saying. Yeah,
if you want to get someone that's value, it's there
for you.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
I would be like, yo, if I want a heady
stashus and dab this to my head for the rest
of the week. I don't know if i'd be as
a hasht, I'd be like, I don't know, but as
like two dudes.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Like let's blow a bunch of dodah. It's that's fucking twenty.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Dollars for two fat Donalds right worth it, you know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
So not bad for me. Definitely gonna check you out
out again. Yeah no, no, agree, great for me, but
let me check out again. Yeah, lever pick it up.
We'll be doing like like griovers that we're doing more reviews.
You'll be continue to see those coming through. But yeah,
I want to dive into uh. Last week, man, last
week we went to a couple events. We checked out
the Flower XP.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
But actually were I feel like we're kind of like
turning the corner on some events, Like now we're going
from summer into fall. Man, like we're gonna damn, I
never seen Dave.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
So say, try trying to hurt me one drop one
because today and tomorrow the next seventy degree days and
it's all sixties for the week.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
It's like lows in the forty eighth. I was like, oh, already,
it's hotty season, man, already.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
H No, But you're right though. It's the funny thing
is is we've been talking about it like towards the
end of summer, there was that there was a couple
here and there, but like last week there was a
bunch of events that were cool.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, because I mean, dude, the weather just wrapped. I
mean I went and rode my bike today. But like
it's now we're getting we're getting close to like we're
getting like you know, you're not to wear odieses are
blowing up a little bit.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Like it's not just it's I mean it's almost like
we'll get like warmer days, chillier nights. That's kind of
where we're at. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I see that.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
But I mean, okay, So the events we went to
last week Flower Expo.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Shout out to my cow Dab cowgirl, our homie, our
friend friend. Go check out the podcast with her. She
does a bunch of stuff. She works with brands, she like,
creates content.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
She likes to be seeing us collabse more in the future.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
She does all sorts of stuff. So check her out,
check out the episode. We appreciate all that. So she
invited us out there. Uh, because we were on the podcast,
we got media passes. I don't know if we're officially
doing media but because we did this. This was a
foreign media, right, so we got through some media. If
you checked out the socials we did. We did a
recap or two day a recap. I can't remember. We
should do a day two. I could probably throw it together. No,

(17:13):
I'm thinking about it out loud.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
But it was fun, fun, fun little spots.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Smaller venue, really small venue, because it was very focus
on B to B like if you're trying to get
new brand, check out what new brands were there, or
if you like had a dispo like that.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
That's kind of the vibe was there. Like that first
day was all like business owns, like, yeah, here's the
thing I saw. Really business to business it was. And
everyone I talked to that was running the booths like
they had like great rois return on their investments whatever
they paid for the booth, they saw either getting into
new stores, getting new eyes on their product, or being

(17:49):
able to get their product only people's hands, right, and
with that that's a successful event. Because I talked to
many people from like higher up to lower people at
the booths, and they were all saying the same thing
like yeah, today, like some people preferred how they broke
it up because they have it too. For in Detroit.
This is how it is in Michigan. I don't know
how it is everywhere, right, but they had Detroit. If
day one was more of your like your buyers, your purchasers,

(18:11):
maybe higher level people like CEO's up there, and then
second day was your bud tenders, more of the educate,
more people talking about seeing the brand, seeing the product,
way to vacation. And then so some people had a
really good Wednesday and the other people probably a really
good Thursday. I think that's how it went. But like
everyone had a great time. Like the weather was pretty
good for the most part. They did rain a little
bit on Thursday, but like it opened up, it was sunny.

(18:32):
It was at the Detroit Chipping Coy. I was trying
to remember where it was.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
So it was and it was really cool to me too,
because like inside it was like food you could get
like at like different vendors and stuff.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
It was kind of like a cafeteria style like bending.
So I enjoyed that.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I you know, like I said earlier, the business the
business thing for us, it was nice because we could
talk to a lot of.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
These people, you know, in that sense. I enjoyed that.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, it was saw some old, saw some new and
made some new homies. Saw some old homie. Shout out
to our dude.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Uh oh my god.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Over at Yield Distro Max shout out bless us with
a box. So we'll be posting that on boxing later.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Uh. Interesting to learn about Yield Distro.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
We're gonna try to get them on because what they
do is they facilitate.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Helping brands get into stores. So they actually have like
almost an umbrella brands would be a good way to
describe it. Sort of. Yeah, I get multiple.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, and we've been seeing people do this more and
more and I just don't think it's as common because
we still see people with a salesman going.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Whatever for that, Like I'm using them as their sales
they're packaged, right, you're basically you know, you know, how
do you want to handle it?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
You know, but there's two ways to look at it, right,
Like you're paying a little bit more with their service,
but they're already probably tapped in, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
So if you're new a brand trying to get tapped in, well,
then once you've got a couple of the products in
the dispo, if the other products sell the dispo, probably
be open to the.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Idea, so it's like really and I enjoyed being to
sit there and actually talk and wrap with them all
and learn, you know, about the products a bit rather
than having to like sometimes had like the B two
C events, it's hard because so many people are just
trying to get as much free shit as possible, so
it's like you're bumping elbows and people. People are just
running over each other, like pretending to have conversations when.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Really there's also so much more smoking going on. I
feel like at the B two c's compared to the
B to b's, like.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Well that's what I'm saying, it's more business was getting done. Yeah,
these networking like that business relationship networking type of thing
was being done where I feel like sometimes with those
B two c's, like you're just trying to represent your
brand in a fun, positive way, like try the product
type shit, right, Yeah, these people were trying to sell
like deals, like you don't make business relationships.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
So it was it was neat.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
You know, it's always fun being in this like be
able to report on that style of stuff too, you know.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, I'm just it's nice to see. I was happy
to see it in Detroit because I went out to it.
They're out there at Lancing last year. So it's cool
to be like right in the back of the neighborhood
looking forward to hat seeing it next year. We might
be going out to the one in Chicago later this
month potentially, so if we're out there, we'll let you
all know. But it is it's another It's another good

(20:59):
eving and I think it's I think it has a
different perspective though than like a canonicon or something though too,
you know, like those cannonicon like that. Yeah, I think
that B to B does it kind of has fallen
off that we heard they did not perform well in Lansing,
you know, so I think being able to bridge the gap,
and I think Flower X, what does it Well? You
have education going one day and the other days it's

(21:20):
more of your buyers and purchasers, And I think being
able to get all the educations there, bud tenders there
to learn about the product or see the product or
try here's my thing, more of education to it so
then they can actually talk about it when people come in.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
So my thing about that is like with the Cannon
con you know, because I feel like they're very similar ideas, right,
business and business. Right that that jennif we're just gonna
start there their business of business.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Right.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
But I think why Flower Expo, why why you were
saying people see more ROI it's because you're able to
have in more in depth conversations sometimes at these big
trade shows, like you're just trying to pump out conversations,
you know, and you're screaming and you're yelling, and it's
a lot, right, it's a lot of energy. You know,
Flower Expo had that, you know that that business the

(22:02):
business energy where the people are talking doing deals, but
at a more like slower pace, like you know, you
can actually go talk to them in a little bit,
you know what I mean, it's not like you're just
trying to rush. So I think sometimes when you deal
with those trade shows, the issue is that they've become
so saturated that now less business gets done.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yeah, you know, it's like when the market was niche still.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Sure everyone knows everyone, everyone's there's only a couple of this,
a couple of this.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Now how many flower? How growers are there? Now?

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Like?

Speaker 1 (22:28):
How many? How many?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
It's so amaze now you're like, who are you? Like,
you know what I mean like, so that's that's all
I was trying to say. It's like I feel like
it's because it's become less niche. So when you're at
the more smaller B to B events, like you know,
like Flower Expo or some of the other ones we've
been at, right, they're more successful because now you only
have like forty companies and everyone just can do deep

(22:50):
business right or whatever right.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
And that makes sense because you have more time to
focus in them.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
And there are other business business like this, and I
think it's a better model because it's less saturated.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, they do, they do it well. I'm curious if
we make it out to Chicago how it is, if
it's different or And that was a two for night.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
We went right after to the next event, which got moved,
which was crazy but.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yeah, because people were hating what was events.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
So shout out to uh Goo Rock and he keeps
saying Flow Flow is the dude who is the owner,
the CEO of Goo Rock.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
We had him on the podcast and shout out to
seven Tenths event because they collapsed together for the.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
Out to our Boy, which that seven ten ship we
got blessed with shout out.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
We built a bunch of don donuts with that. Yeah, yeah, that.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Was Oh no, I left my Exotic pop in Chicago
just hit me damn Son anyway, so that's a bummer.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
But anyway, so but a good event.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
That was cool because we went from like a business
to business event to a straight B two C event,
which that was definitely a fun BAT two event.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
And you were saying people hate none his event. Well,
if it got the location change, I think that's what
I've seen in the stories and whatnot. All people people
like porting it or something hairs pater. So Flow still
through a hell of an event, and it was at that.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Even it was even I would say not a cooler
venue because I don't know what the other venue was,
but it was a pretty fun venue. We were at
the Rooster tail. I was like, how the hell is
this happening? Because last time I was at a Rooster
it was like some up the ass wedding, And I'm like,
how was this.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Last time I was there was back in the day
when they had medical events there. It was like twenty seventeen,
twenty sixteen, and it was completely dead. Damn. That's the
bad thing. Sometimes I probably left that on too, but yeah,
I know. Flows event was pretty good overall. He had

(24:40):
a nice little food area that was giving out a
bunch of free food. That stuff was really good. Couldn't
complain about that. He had. They had a bar inside,
They had a couple of artists coming in. Sada Baby
performed at the end. Uh. Overall, it was a fun night.
It was a long day because you went from the
flower exploded there, well we did, not everybody did, but

(25:01):
that's what we did.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
And then huh, I'm actually really surprised you didn't bring
this up at all. So when we got there, uh,
two Flows events about eight cop cars just fucking chilling
being whatever. So I guess what happened was again just
another hater. They were just having a dab tent or dabs.

(25:23):
They were giving out some free dabs, not charging or anything,
just giving out some free dabs. And they're like, oh,
the fire marker got called because of the pop up,
Like what, it's probably an e rig and even if
it was a dab.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Rig, like come on man, yeah that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
And then they stayed there the entire time doing absolutely
dog shit. You just sat there, so it was what.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
A waste of your time? Huh?

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I just want to bring it up because it's like
people are still hating on weed events in this era,
and it's like why, like they're literally everyone's making money,
everyone's having a good time. They just sat there. Oh couse,
we just gotta make sure things. Oh just because we
let up a dab, Are you serious? Like that's a
risk that's we're gonna raise manpower on. So I just
want to point out because like shout out to Flow,

(26:12):
fighting through all the bullshit, fighting through the haters, fighting
through the fire marshall bullshit, because I again, like it
wasn't like it was so crowded with people were going crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
No, it was literally just it.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Was such a nice venue you could spread out. But
I just thought that was pretty wild. You know, we're
twenty twenty five doing events, and it's like.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
It's unfortunate because you don't know if that tiered people
away either.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
You know, it almost did to us, because I was like,
what that was happening? Yeah, I guarantee to turn some
people away.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Yeah exactly. So it's like that's what I'm saying, like,
what are you doing? And that was an event to like,
you know, kick off Labor Day weekend and the summer.
So shout out to Flow though, so that's still having
the good event though overall it was a fun time. Damn,
I gotta get my cart or something. Both of my
things are dead. Dang. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
I just can't believe that they're still just acting like
it's they're doing something super legal when you're literally at
the rooster Tail like you're like, I don't know, it
was crazy Detroit.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
I don't know it's but there's still that hate behind
cannabis and events, and you're gonna see that moving forward,
probably still for a couple more years, honestly until sh
it's like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Shout out to Northern Connections too with those Pixie six
Oh yeah yeah cool, yeah, yeah, shout out to the
team over there.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah. There was a couple of brands there that he
had doing talking to give him product out. Uh. We
tried some of the new Gurak stuff and then again
the food, the food is really good. Yeah, we just
kept smashing. It was like free food, egg rolls and
it was like, I don't know, super super good. And

(27:49):
then we got some events coming up. Yeah, oh shout
and yep, we do got a couple of events coming
up next week. I believe Saturday is this Olympics not
mistaken thirteen Yeah, the following yeah, it's not this week,
and the next week yep, and then we possibly I
think we just mentioned we might be going to Flower
Expo in Chicago twenty seventh, twenty third, twenty fourth, damn,

(28:13):
really off. I don't know why that was twenty six seventh.
I think it's midweek this Tuesday, Wednesday. Yeah, yeah, twenty third,
twenty fourth. I think it is twenty sixth seventh. There
is twenty seven se sessions. That's the day we're thinking of.
There we go. Yeah, that's the event where we're helping push,
which is upcoming September twenty seventh, but Tender Education. And
there was another event too.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
I played Big Fan the next day, twenty eight for
twenty ninth, right, wait, the twenty.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Seventh is Saturday.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Yeah, oh that's Big Fan weekend. We're gonna have to
figure that out. I guess I'll just go out to
Big go out there for a little bit, come back
to Big Fan.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yeah, twenty sixth.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
I'll be solid because I'll be sleeping a Big Fan
that day that night, that's right, because I play correct.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
Yeah, sorry, yeah, it's all big. It was a crazy week,
that's all. This week it's a busy time, hopefully making Chicago.
The other ones will definitely be at but yeah, we're
gonna figure it out. Facts dude. Then you want to
jump in a couple of articles, Yeah, yeah, I think

(29:20):
that those are the events I have. Yeah, sessions should
be cool.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Man.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
I really enjoyed that education thing. Man. I really enjoyed
that little bit different take on it. So the big
the big article that I actually pulled up the wrong way.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
What don't I doing too many things? Guys, too many
buttons all the time, that's for sure. So TC band
in Texas. This is this is the big one that
I wanted to talk about for me just because this
we talked about this like a year ago, a long
time ago, because it's Bill got mentioned.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
I remember talking about this.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
So this is technically the follow up. The anti vape
law is now in effect. A lot of times we
see these things get you know, taken off or like
you know, some cancels them or the re reclassify, re
edit it something. Right, this one went through, so they
officially thc uh the sale thc in these vapes are
officially gone. But also certain nicotine vapes prohibits and also

(30:16):
the hemp derived canvas base and cbdt C delta A
t C TC. So not only just talking about like
at a dispo, we're talking about like just the farm
bill stuff like everything.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Mm hmm. Yeah, so that's pretty crazy to me. It
says it's it's and the marketing to minors too, so
it's which bands this they're probably talk about. They're probably
talking about prohibits the sale THC in these devices.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
So they're not out here like advertising kids vaping on ship.
They're just probably advertising like very very best well pat
and said you couldn't use like celebrity images, and it
goes through like a list of categories that you can't
have that you can't advertise as, which makes sense pretty simple,
but that's crazy when to effect, it's.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Interesting and since then the two can still have them.
Though you can still have them, you just can't sell them.
Yeah yeah, I mean.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
It's like you basically have to get him online or
you have to go across the border to get them
or correct, we were first seeing like a black market
like vape thing, like you how much vapes are gonna
go up? I mean they're just gonna do what they
do everywhere. They're gonna get them from Cali or get
him from somewhere else and just sell them. Like it's
not like you don't just cancel drops, right.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Since then, the Texas Center has advanced separate proposal Senate
Bill six, which seeks to outlaw nearly all THAC products
of the state.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
The legislation is now before the texts House.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
So they're getting pretty intense out there in Texas, which
is crazy because it's like now then they're cool with it,
and then they're not cool with it.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
It's like, I don't know, if they band THC, they'd
be crazy, Like you got so much good stuff going
on right now, like especially in Austin with like I.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Mean, thankfully it's only the house, right so, I mean
hopefully it's not, but you know, I don't know, we'll
see it starts here.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Oh you know, I put TC band, TC vape band.
It's just a bummer that they're going backwards so heavy
right now because they have medical out there, you know,
so now they're trying to go backwards. And there their
cannabis laws in Texas.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Well, And it's interesting because you know, with the hemp bill.
You know, technically you should be able to.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Have low dose THC. So yeah, unfortunately, see they're going
a little bit backwards. We don't like that, hero, we
don't like that over here.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
I thought this one was interesting too. This one was
also I wish we had Dab Kyle girl with us
to talk about this, to see what how corrupt this
person was. But the judge reversus the firing of the
Mass Cannabis board chair, Shannan O'Brien. So she clearly she
was fired. I forget when it was twenty twenty three.

(32:49):
In September twenty three, she was suspended, Sorry, she was
suspended in September twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
She was fired in September twenty.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Twenty four after two outside investigations in nineteen hours of
private meetings.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
So they actually they did some research.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
The question before the core is not whether she's abrasive, borish,
in considered of ill tempered, imputan or otherwise and reasonable
either way in actuality or reasonable estimation of the treasure.
So basically they're just saying they're trying not to rate
her as a person, but they did because they little
decision properly applied legal stands to remove O'Brien as gross

(33:24):
misconduct and being unable to discharge its the powers and
her duties in her office. But I guess for some reason,
now she's good.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
A year later, she's back. I don't know, I don't
know she's says.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
The judge says that O'Brien is entitled to the reinstatement
for the remainder of versa stary appointment to war looking
back pay and benefits running back from her data on
off a tomato, which that pisses me on.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
She's getting back paying benefits like for what doing nothing,
just fighting it.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
So basically she must have reversed her own thing and
somehow got it reversed.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
So I'm just curious.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Because when you actually scroll down and see why, Goldberg
al said though Brian contributed to so Goldberg was someone
contributing to evidence a hostile work environment with the way
she treated and bullied according to Goldberg, So it's like
and then of that someone else said in that firing
O'Brien were formal chairmen made rude and disrespectful comments, remarks, statements,

(34:20):
and presumptions to commission staff and colleagues that were or
were to be perceived as race basis or minimum to
be racially ethnically cultural insensitive. So basically she's talking shit,
picking on people, saying some shit that's biasand or racist allegedly.
But she sounds like a douche, like you know what
I mean. She doesn't sound like a good person. She

(34:41):
sounds like she just treats people like shit and then
talks shit.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Now sounds like this is only one person's accord.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
But to get fired just to then have to reverse it,
it's like, Okay, if you went through all that, with
all that investigation, all those private investigations, She's not the
Goldberg's not the only one. This is just the only
one that Mass Live got to talk about it, right.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
It makes sense? No, it makes sense, I no way,
one person it makes it makes sense? Though, why she there?
I wonder if there wasn't enough evidence, because obviously she
got back her job, so there must have been not
enough evidence that someone not going.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
She must have fought it back because she was think
about she was spent until in twenty three, fired until
the twenty four, So then now just getting reversed. She's
been fighting this for this long.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Yeah, so I mean, you know, there's always two sides
of every story. So I don't know, but sounds like
a shitty human.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Well again, you're right, You're absolutely right, there's you know,
it could always speculate either way.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Absolutely, But I.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Just feel like if they did nineteen hours of private
interviews and two separate private investigations, I feel like that's
not the only evidence, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
But reinstated, then after all that evidence.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Probably you can get things through on technicalities. We don't know,
I mean, we'd have to dig into the report. Yeah,
well we don't know.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
It could have been one fonding to have cowgirl about
this and we can talk to her about it, digging
more into it.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
But I do think it's fascinating because it was like
blowing up and this happened like hours ago, so this
was like, you know, this is people are were people
are gonna see this and you know, like, oh.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Shit, damn that is wild well crazy stuff going on.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Yeah, we shall see. I I uh, you know, it
just you know, entirely overhauled. The CC is part of
due to perception of infected regular and organization by set
with personal.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Conflicts and scandals. So I just I just I you.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
Know, I love to dig more into it, but we'll see.
That's all we got from these articles. I looked up
a couple of articles updated the Gazette net and then
mass Live is what I looked into.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
On that specific one about O'Brien and Sethings.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
And her term is set to go through August thirty first,
twenty twenty seven. So now, I mean, I don't know
how they're gonna then get too many first. So now
she's yeah, now she's just there for two more years.
That's why she fought it, because she's like, wait a second,
I'm gonna lose all this money and this power for
four years like she got.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
That's why she fought for it. It only got two
years of it because she gets suspended and what it's
to call it either way? You know what I'm saying, Well,
how long she's been there? Oh well, you said twenty four.
Something happened in twenty three. Stuff came out, right, I said,
she spent in two fine three and then she was
fired twenty four.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
I don't know if she hired though, I'm saying, I
don't know how long she you know what I mean,
I don't know what I don't know anything about this lady, true,
you know, And like I said, that's why I'm saying
it does seem interesting. You know, it's a Judge Blocks
Treasures hearing on pop panel. It just seems so interesting
to me.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
What I was gonna go into the next article, what
company's got a banned or had to get productor recalled
again an MCT oil, Because isn't that crazy that we
just talked about this a couple of weeks ago and
now we're having it come back again.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
So more recalls miss you know, which he's on MCT
oil again, Like it's like no one's learning or My
other thing is I'm wondering too, because I'd love to
have a company on from here.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Is I'm wondering if maybe it's like not.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Necessarily a new MCT oil or something that they assumed
was and it's actually labeled as such or something like
like like oh, let me phrase that's sound man. I
meant more like, hey, here's like if everyone used vitamin
es tate and that's like the big MCT, right, maybe
there's something else that's like, oh, this is kind of
an MCT oil but kind of not like kind of
a gray area and then this whole time like normal,

(38:17):
it's not kind of shit.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
It is kind of is right, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
It has these ingredients which almost like some signists figured
out a loophole and they're like, that's not a fucking loophole,
like when they're back in the day. That's what I'm
wondering if maybe thought they were getting away with it. It
was like and everyone said, oh dad, we're getting away
with this one, because like it just seems to popping
up again out of nowhere the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
What was it. I think it rested in the article
like fifty eight hundred Yeah, Michigan can regular. It's crazy
that these test results. Excuse me, You're like, it's it's September,
but it just came out like yesterday today. So this
literally came out like okay, September, so you're talking February,
so yesterday, April, June, July, August. It took six months

(38:59):
and you have you already had, Like I think it
says in the article fifty eight hundred vapes tested for
this product that we're sold, and the thirty eight hundred
are still in it shelves. If I'm not mistaken, so
sort of.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
So fifty eight hundred is actually to one brand, Cushy
Punch vape cards producing a rmer.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Those ones got last week and banned.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
And then the one we're talking about now, the one
that happened just now, is a volunteer recall with house
Brands Distro for runs branded top Smoke go carts.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
So that's what we're talking about now.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
So they're two separate things, both talking about mct oils the.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
Thirty oh and next year.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
It's funny, No, you're absolutely right, it's just fifty eight
hundred twice about fifteen hundreds were sold in thirty one
hundred vape cards were still at dispendaries. But it's funny
that fifty eight hundreds was the exact same number as.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
The last recall.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Okay, so either we missed that recall though, because we
talked about two other ones, so tendingly this would be
like the fourth. Because we talked about two, we missed
this third one that they just referred to with you know,
and then now we're talking about the other brand now
with what was that four nine thousand ones that I'm
technically out there and that smoked.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Go carts as I have to say he is. There
has to be a process where you never probably catch
it quicker because if you really don't want people to
smoke it and to say it is fifty eight hundred
products were smoked, they already smoked it. If they bought that,
that's probably gron They've already smoked it. No one buys
product and hold onto it, oh guaranteed. Like you go there,
you buy the product. Usually you buy what you have

(40:26):
when you buy a bottle of liquor, beer or somewhere. Well, yeah,
I mean it's a car, dude, it's made to go
on the go. Yeah, so in some fancy product. So
that's kind of my I'm curious why these are continue
to pop up.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
So I do see like a video playing for it.
I could probably play a video. I'm trying to find
the bring it was other?

Speaker 1 (40:46):
It is? Okay, so we know it looks like this.
Go karts looks like go carts. Well then speed raising.
Nice turn on my turbo jets family. No not, you
got there because I like nitious nas. All right, I

(41:08):
guess I guess I'll reach for you. I'll reach with you.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
But oh yeah, no, So if you look this this
purple thing. Now, if you can see on the screen YouTube,
it says Go Carts is like a purple cart thing
that I've ever seen it container before. But it's funny
because it has like the little thing to hang on
shelves and it's like, yeah, it's definitely a car because
those are hanging everywhere and every desk one so Go
Carts K A R t Z and top smoke and yeah,

(41:33):
but that one was already recalled, so that's past. I
think these are the ones that are still on the shelf.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
This is the one.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Yeah, they were just using that as a reference that
this just happened again. So I'm you know, and they
we might be missing something. So there might be more
than four or five. That's crazy because now you're talking
what tens of thousands of apes out there that are
just bad.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
So it's like it's a tough. It's just tough. So
I regulated all, obviously something needs to happen. Pay attention
to stop cutting your stuff trying to make your make
good oil.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I just I mean, people have been making good cards
for a while, so there must be a way to
not put them in there and not cut your stuff
to make yourself what an extra point too or whatever.
They're just trying to cut everything make a little bit
more money.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
Yeah, reed's an interesting thing. Huh, yes it is. It
happens in all forms of business, yes, sir, Yes sir,
it's yeah. No, it's been a fun episode. We did
the fuelmy review dived into our events. Upcoming events will
be live this Saturday, nine am Eastern. Tune in. We

(42:37):
might be wrapped giving away Lost Coast product, or that
might be the next weekend, so stay tuned. You know,
some way, want to try out the spray can. Like
I said, you can use on household plants, any type
of plans proven by can't vegetables, can of mom uses it.
That's right. Uh and it worked, and so other than that,
I really don't got much left groovy.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
And again we talked about it real quick, but I
want to reiterate, big fan end of the month, be there.
I'm playing main stage the twenty sixth, So if you're
actually gonna be going out for the twenty seventh, you're
already pretty close. I think it's only like an hour
and a half two hours away from because it's right
in the middle missions.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
So it's true. So if you're looking for something to do.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
If you want to go to sessions in the party,
do that or pre party like what I'm doing so
big FAM twenty six seventh, eighth Grassroots Festival.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
It's fun.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Three great, three stages, great sound, great production. Sessions twenty seventh,
New Buffalo, Correct New Buffalo, which we actually went through
New Buffalo and we were literally off the highway for
fift ten minutes and we saw fifteen sixteen Disposay Day.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Says nineteen I did. We couldn't count. There was so many.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
All we did was go to one and get up
back on like there's twenty five in total, and there's
like it's insane. It's mostly disposed, Like I don't even
know what else is in the town. The restaurants, a
couple gas stations, but it was like a mostly disposed.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
You live out a New Buffalo or if you're driving
up to New Buffalo. Allegedly my suggestion, I'll do a
first time discount thirty forty. Oh yeah, you were talking
about this. Try to buy. Try to buy your one
month worth of stuff and get a huge discount, and
then come back every month, because it would take you
two years to hit every dispo bright. Yeah, just every month,

(44:23):
every month, go pick up once. Yeah. Vibe literally has
uh fifty percent off their deli flower signs all throughout Illinois,
which was a little Entregus's fifty on your first time
and then when you get there it's an all flowers third.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Yeah, it's still not cool though, I mean yeah, but
I saw ones that where I could read all of them.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
They didn't say that. Not shocked though, because that's marketing.
But still thirty. You could hit every fucking dispo and
still stack up. It's crazy how they have it. And
there's so much, so much out there, especially if it
was fifty percent off, I would do it. But there
are a lot of dispos grooviies right, so very great

(45:00):
crazy place over there. If you go out there, I
just know what you think out there. Other than that,
let's get out of here groovy, all right, see you
all on this Saturdays. I think we're coming to it.
And again I want to give a shout to our
partners that make this possible, Lost Coast Plant Therapy, Old
School Organics, can it be extracts, smoking tomatoes, a KA

(45:22):
dairy do, and the new one for month sessions. The
session coming at you twenty seventh and New Buffalo, so
stay tuned. Say twoed our socials. We posted some content there.
We always got stuff in the stories Happening Mechanic Cast
that's m I my Canic cast everywhere.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
Groovy music too, eas know why oh I put on
a new song in this path month.

Speaker 1 (45:47):
Check it out.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Shout out to Grain Alliance out of Colorado. It's you
were if you've been og listener. Kilos featured in the outro.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
So that's really cool.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Mindub my late dog and funky stuff, sat live, sack stuff,
d M stuff, halftime stuff.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
So enjoy that and then can the day of everywhere. Yep,
that's about it. Follow me anywhere, Candid Dave and as
always groovy here to advocate, educate and inspire to next summer.
