Hours Before Betrayal

Hours Before Betrayal Jesus, our Passover Lamb, prepared His table for us! It was not an ordinary table. It was not an everyday table. It was not a general use table. He prepared a table of Remembrance, where we would partake in His Holy Communion and fellowship with Him. The day before His crucifixion, He prepared a table and washed His disciples’ feet! His last day here on earth in bodily form, He was focused on us! Jesus knew He was going to die a horrific death, yet His preparations were for our well-being! Matthew 26:26 … “Take and eat; this is My body.” Matthew 26:28 “For this is My body of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Hours before the crucifixion He sat with His disciples on Thursday and modeled the intimacy of fellowship. John 13:4 "Jesus rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself." Date of Service 3/28/24
