My Mom raised 4 children and built a successful career as a piano teacher and member of the piano teaching community, sitting on many local and provincial boards in many roles, including president. She was born just outside New York City a few years before WWII. Boy, has she seen a LOT of changes. It was really neat hearing her perspective on our modern world, as well as the a challenges and struggles of parents of any generation. It was fun to get to sit down and chat with her.
