This day became official inJamaica in 2018, bringing it to
an international spotlight andhighlighting the significant

Get them a pat on the back, send them a nice email, be
honest with them, and you alsowant to make sure that we honor
(05:30):
them so they can make our liveseasier and support us.
So HR, it really matters, it'soften referred to as the

The HR is the heartbeat of thatarea.
(05:53):
They are the ones who look forthe talent, they have help us
with new hires, conflicts, anyculture.

Our HR teams, they're leadingus into the future of the areas
of the facilities andorganization.
They look for different talent.
They mentor like the futureleaders, the future employees,
(07:26):
those students that come back tothat area.
They also help with differentplans for growth and continue
success with that area, andthey're not just reacting on
change, they can anticipate itand help others.
Whether you're navigating thelabor laws or you're looking at
(07:48):
the different technology oryou're preparing for the

digital management systems, performances, they can ensure
everyone is up to date with thedifferent labor laws,
healthcare regulations andmandates.
If a crisis hit, such as thepandemic, they can help
restructure.
If it's a personal emergency, you can count on your HR team.
(08:32):
They're always calm when thestorm hits and they have
empathy, clarity, & resilience.
They're want to make sureeveryone is achieving their
goals.
So they look at the efficiency, and it's not about everyone
contacting them at once, but youcan make sure that they are
(08:57):
very helpful for everyone to gettheir answers resolved and
questions.
So with the culture, they arevery nurturing, they're
