Feeling a sense of belonging is essential at any age, yet seniors often face increasing isolation, especially after retirement or life changes. That is why I invited Jacki Kimel, a dedicated community leader and board member of the NorthShore Village Network, to share how this grassroots organization is combating the loneliness epidemic by creating a true “village” atmosphere for seniors in the Northshore area.
