In this episode of "MCLAHIGTI", I talk about battling addiction. Addiction is very complex and it can completely grab hold of the person that it has influence over. Addiction is a disease that affects brain function and behavior. Bottom line, you can have an addiction to just about anything. What makes addiction so dangerous is the person that is affected has no regard for themselves and may cause harm just to satisfy the addiction. There is help out there for addiction and it starts with the individual involved.
