Nine years ago, at the age of 43, Erika Wolf faced an advanced form of breast cancer head-on. She underwent traditional oncology treatments, but it was the discovery of integrative medicine therapies that allowed her to thrive during treatment and throughout recovery.

Erika learned that much of the American oncology community does not widely support the utilization of complementary therapies. She advocated for herself to find and incorporate these therapies so that her entire being was cared for and treated as robustly as the cancer itself.

Therefore, it has become her passion to share this information with as many people as possible. She believes it is important for patients to be aware, but moreover, that physicians, nurses, and other caregivers accept the efficacy of complementary care and advocate for the inclusion of these modalities as a regular part of oncology care and recovery.

Erika lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and two dogs. She has worked in marketing and PR for the past 30 years and is the director of digital marketing for a non-profit based in Denver, CO.
