From his past as a preacher’s son in the Baptist Church, through his seminary education, then his rejection of the pulpit, and ultimately beyond into the strange and wonderful realm of non-human intelligence, Nathan has developed a sophisticated set of ideas around being, around God as universal source, and around the need for meaning in people’s lives.
