Currently based in Moncton, NB, Nic is dedicated to driving supplier diversity in their Atlantic regional role for the CGLCC. As Business Development Manager, they are dedicated to supporting 51% 2SLGBTQI+ owned businesses to certify and grow their networks and brands, as diverse suppliers. As a multidisciplinary artist and neurodiverse entrepreneur, Nic is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion in everything they do. Nic’s travels and lived experiences as a 2nd generation Colombian-Canadian have enriched their understanding of diverse cultures and business practices. Their background in sociology, anthropology, community work, and business management has heightened their awareness of disparities and inspired a hopeful drive for progress. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Nic loves practicing languages to connect with others.
Amongst their many talents, they are most often called upon for their skills in event management, social media marketing and negotiating. When off-duty, she enjoys nurturing her little ones, attending community events, taking pictures, and making art.
