Im Gespräch mit Björn Bender und Andreas Herrmann macht die heutige Verwaltungsrätin klar, warum wir uns zwar von internationalen Grossstädten inspirieren lassen können, aber in der Schweiz eine andere Art von Städten die Mobilitätswende ausmachen. Zudem ist es mit der Vermeidung von Verkehr alleine nicht getan. Mobilität ist zu wichtig. Was es gemäss Renate Amstutz braucht ist eine Verlagerung zu einem Menschen-verträglicheren Verkehr.
Als Verfechterin der direkten Demokratie offenbart sie uns, dass sie sich manchmal trotz allem schnellere Umsetzungs-Prozesse wünscht, doch ihr differenzierter Blick aufs Ganze, ihre Ansichten über z.B. Mikromobilität oder die Aufenthaltsqualität in Städten sind sehr
interessant. Sie ist überzeugt, wenn wir als Gesellschaft das Mobilitätsverhalten jedes einzelnen verändern wollen, braucht es entsprechende Anreize.
