In this month's episode of the Next Level Running Podcast, I sit down with RunDoyen expert Coach Ryan Vail and talk about the lessons he has learned through his running career. Ryan was an All-American at Oklahoma State where he helped his team win the 2009 NCAA Championships in Cross Country! Later, Ryan would sign a professional contract to run for Brooks Running, where he qualified for multiple Olympic Trials, US Championships, and had a wonderful career that saw him run personal best times of 13:28 (5000 meters), 27:44 (10,000 meters), 1:02:46 (Half Marathon), and 2:10:57 (Marathon). This was a fun conversation and I feel like there are a lot of lessons to be learned here through Ryan's experiences!
