The Thursday games from a standpoint of you didn't have
to wait long, right, Like we just saw Texas play
on Sunday. Here we are short week, it's a Thursday
night and we get to see the Texans in action
again tonight at Uber.

We'll get into it throughout the show, an important one
to win, just from a standpoint of there's a big
difference going in the next week. Whether you are seven
and two in control one of the best teams in
the AFC versus six and three, and suddenly you lose

that Sunday night game against Detroit, you're six and four
and this thing starts to skid. An Uber Uber important
game tonight for your Texans up there in New York.
Of course, the Jets, they need a win in a
bad way. They lose this one and they drop to
two and seven. I mean, it is literally all she wrote.

They get the three and six, then you can get
the four and six. They can try to chip away
and build back to five hundred. But for the Texans again,
to me, big difference between starting the season seven and
two and having a week basically a week plus off
to get ready for Sunday a football against the Lions
versus six and three, because you really put yourself in

a dangerouspot of this thing crippling itself away. Of course
a little bit short handed. There will be no Nico Collins,
there will be no Stefan Diggs. There will be no
Damian Pierce. We found out yesterday he has been ruled
out of this game with a groin injury. But you
got Jo Mixing and you got c J. Stroud. Those
are two of your most important pieces. Find a way
to go get a win, however.

start having Halloween for those that are into that type

look at the football game, I can understand why the
spread according to ESPN BET has now gone up in
favor of the Jets from two to two and a
half overnight. I am very concerned about this game. And

it's not in a vacuum just the Jets. It's the timing,
so right, it's not the opponent. It's more about the
Texans and what the Texans aren't doing well and who
they aren't going to have on the sideline or in
the game in the huddle more so than it is
the Jets. But then when I look across that other sideline,

I can't ignore who the Jets are going to roll
out there now. They're banged up. They got some starters
that are going to be out there. You just said there.
I'm concerned, g man, I really am. I don't know
where you are. We'll open up the phone lines for
the people. Seven one three two one two five seven ninety.
Do you understand when I say that, how like I want?

I would love nothing more than to come in here
and be able to say Texans gonna whoop their ass.
That's a bad football team. Go look at the tape,
Go look at the numbers. The Jets are about this

up tonight than the Texans will have. They've got Davonte
Adams and Garrett Wilson Hell their third receiver in New York,
Mike Williams. Gordy might be as good as whoever's gonna
be the second best receiver or the first best receiver
for the Texans. They're three might be as good as
our one tonight, given the absence of Nico and Ousley Steph.

can pull it off. But right now, my good I

the offensive line has underachieved. CJ stride and putting up

the record aside. How the team looks, the protection issues,

The offense has not been scoring like we thought they
would when they've had four of the five heads, so
it's not doing it. Gloom. Can the Texans win Absolutely,
I'll let you know by the time we get to
the end if I predict him to win. But we

Jets are so somehow favored on Thursday night versus the Texans.
Florio is a bit miffed. How is this possible? A
team in the Jets that have fired their head coach
and their offensive play caller. They used three timeouts Gordy
last week versus the Patriots in one quarter of football.
This is a bad team, But look at the roster.

I also have to be honest with my thoughts, Gordy,
I don't trust the Texans on the road. I love
what I saw Indianapolis Week one. I don't count that

can't just ignore the body of work how this team
has played on the road.

the right tackle spot. Now, if there's an area that
I feel like we must exploit, they don't have Elijahviira
Tucker at guard. So when I think about those interior
guys and the way that Domico schemes up those stunts
between those ends and tackles, we got to be able
to get some movement on. Whoever the hell is going

to fill in Forjavera Tucker? Jake who is this? Does
I say, Jake Hansen? Who's that? Gordy? I agree? We
on agreement. That's the formula. Defense and Joe Mixon are
gonna have to go win this game. I'll also give
some credis to what you said, and we said this
to start the week special teams. The Jets are going
out there with a brand new kicker, Kimi Fairband from

fifty nine yards and in typically money, So I'm not
super concerned about the kicking game. The weather doesn't look
like it's gonna be an issue. But those guys up
front on defense, I mean, they're gonna have to go
be in absolute terror the Texans defense. What was the
game they played here at home, Gordon, Oh versus the
Bears where just every play Kayleb Williams was just under

the rest Demko blitz the but Jesus out of him.
It's gonna have to look more like that. Whether it's
a pressure, a stunt, or whether it's an all out blitz.
The problem is because that's Aaron Rodgers. Demiko knows there's
nothing that he can throw it Aaron that Aaron hasn't seen.
So if you start going all out blintzs and now
you you got Lassiter in Stingly and man coverage on

the outside versus Devonte Adams and Garrett Wilson. Third, you
are playing with fire, and in a game like this
that I believe will be tight, one explosive can lose
the game for you. And that could come in the
first quarter Gordon, or it could be the final drive,
the lass play setting up a game winning field goal.

They were rather just be careful with that blitz their
last two weeks. The last two games, albeit and losses.
He was sacked once against New England, sacked once against Pittsburgh.

up some sacks. And it makes sense with the Texans
front of Daniel Hunter and Will Anderson and then the
ineptitude of the Texans offensive line.

Hassan Reddick a forma All Pro and Pro Bowl in
his own right.

to decline in Kelsey, uh rights is how obviously to

rig Hill has been going for a few years. Yet
they're still consistently putting ports on the board. At a
Lesson Cliff this year, but they still put points on
the board consistently enough to be considered an offensive threat.

Jameis Winston just did in Cleveland, devoid up Amari Cooper
and his first time starting, and he'd put up almost
three hundred yards and put points on the board. I
look at Baltimore if they've never had they haven't had

potential to be that guy, but he's still developing, and
they have a declining Mark Andrews, and they still consistently

put points on the board. Yet we even when we
had four strints, struggled to score and not on Is
that everybody on that old line. I don't remember exactly
what Jack Mason was drafted, but with Titus Howard, tinyon
