Ballet praises physical and technical perfection, and it encourages children to start their career as early as 4 years old in order to get a head start. But today's podcast guest, Camila Rodrigues, was far from perfect, and she did not fit the mold of the ideal ballerina, having started her at the age of 10 years old.
Camila has faced adversity her entire life, yet through believing in herself and facing one obstacle at a time, she has slowly built resilience, making her way from a small town in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, all the way to an international career in the United States.
