We wrap up our "Faith in Action" series with Paul's final words in 2Corinthians. After he finishes what he has to say, he gives a benediction to the people. There are lots of questions surrounding the meaning and purpose of the benediction, including what are they? What is their meaning in Scripture? Today, why do we include it in our worship services? Is it just a nice way to wrap up the worship service, or is it something more? What does it mean to ‘receive’ the benediction? Is it a prayer? A proclamation? Or both?
