In hindsight, The Dawning of the Age of LiLo was perhaps more portentous of the road to come than we may have thought at the time. We’ve never read the book “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” is based on, and this movie certainly doesn’t pique my interest. In fact, the most interesting thing about the movie is the career trajectories of its youngest stars. Some became top dollar talent, some stopped acting entirely. This movie is a question, and the answer is “No.”
AUDIO WARNING: When we mention line dancing, and drop the clip of dance rehearsal and Lola thinking about being a professional, the next clip is Josh shrieking bird noises. It sounds awful because we pulled it from a home cam. We could not pass up the opportunity to share this peek into our lives, but we wanted you to be aware in case you’ve got sensitive eardrums. Or are just a normal person who doesn’t like shriek laughter.
