Ever notice how entrepreneurs put peace on layaway? "Once I hit six figures, I'll rest. Once I scale, I'll breathe." But what if peace isn't a milestone—what if it's a muscle that needs daily attention?

Welcome to Part Two of Finding Peace, where we dive deeper into the boundaries, habits, and healing every entrepreneur needs to sustain success. After experiencing burnout firsthand and having to scale back my own schedule, I've learned a truth worth sharing: if success costs you your peace, it's simply too expensive.

This episode explores three essential habits for protecting your peace: scheduling non-negotiable silence, saying no to buy back time, and redefining productivity to include rest and play. We challenge the uncomfortable feeling many entrepreneurs experience during calm periods—that traumatic response masquerading as truth that whispers "you're not doing enough." Instead, we embrace stillness as a powerful skill where clarity lives and breakthroughs happen.

Your nervous system deserves stability, not survival mode. Your ambition deserves space to breathe. As you build something meaningful, don't push peace to the bottom of your to-do list. What's the point of creating something beautiful if you're too burnt out to enjoy it? This week, choose peace on purpose—journal it, protect it, speak it into existence with the same intention you bring to your business goals.

If burnout, anxiety, or isolation has become part of your entrepreneurial journey, let this episode be your reminder to prioritize wellbeing alongside success. Share it with another entrepreneur who needs to hear this message, and join me in creating businesses that sustain rather than drain us.

In this episode, we move beyondthe hustle and explore the
boundaries, habits and healingevery entrepreneur needs to

(00:21):
sustain success.
If burnout, anxiety orisolation has become a part of
your journey, this episode isyour reminder.
Peace isn't the destination,it's the daily decision.
Let's talk about protectingyour energy, redefining what

(00:43):
winning really looks like andthe silent power of stillness in
your business journey.
If you haven't listened to partone, please go back and start
there.
But if you're ready to godeeper into what peace really
means in business and how tokeep it, you're in the right
place, so let's jump into it.

(01:04):
Entrepreneurs often put peace onlayaway.
Once I hit six figures, I'llrest.
Once I scale, I'll breathe.
But peace isn't a milestone,it's a muscle.
True success is being able tofeel calm and chaos, not just in

(01:26):
stillness.
Ok, I I'll share my story.
I said it before in episodes inthe past that I recently scaled
back my schedule for a worklife balance, so to speak, and
it was a must, and I feel somuch better that I did it

(01:50):
Mentally.
Physically, I had to scale backhours onto my weekly schedule.
Okay.
So that's my short story andthat's why I'm constantly doing
episodes like this, because it'sa real thing and burnout is a
real thing and I actually justwent through it myself.

(02:12):
I just want to put in a realquote real quick If success
costs you your peace, it's tooexpensive, ok.
So, like I said, I just wantedto touch on this, um, this
episode, do a part two on it,because it's a real thing.

(02:33):
I went through it myself and,uh, you know you have to pace
yourself in these, uh, in thesetimes, when there's so much
coming at you.
All right, so here are threehabits to protecting peace.
Schedule number one schedulenon-negotiable silence.

(02:58):
So that's every Every week.
No screen, no goals, just be inthe present, okay.
Number two say no to buy backtime, because not every
opportunity deserves your energy, even if it pays.
And number three rebuild yourdefinition of productivity.

(03:21):
Some of the most productivemoments will look like rest,
reflection, or play or and play.
That's not slacking, that'ssustainability.
Okay, here's a challenge for youentrepreneurs and side hustlers

(03:42):
out there what do yourboundaries look like?
If peace isn't scheduled, chaoswill take its place.
So this week, just you know, write down or reflect.
What does your boundaries looklike when it comes to scheduling
peace?

(04:03):
Many entrepreneurs areuncomfortable when things are
calm.
It feels like they're not doingenough, but this is a traumatic
response.
It's not truth.
So you have to ask yourself areyou addicted to stress?
Do you equate noise withprogress?
Share a mindset shift?

(04:26):
Okay, stillness is a skill andit's powerful, unbelievably
powerful.
Okay, it's part of alignment,if you will.
Peace doesn't mean you're lazyor unmotivated.
It means you trust thefoundation you've built.
Okay, your nervous systemdeserves stability, not survival

(04:52):
mode.
Peace is where clarity lives, and clarity is where
breakthrough breakthroughs comefrom.
Okay, I have another quote foryou.
Peace isn't the opposite ofambition.
It's what allows your ambitionto breathe.
If you're right now, if you'rein the middle of building

(05:18):
something big, I know thetemptation to push peace to the
bottom of your to do list, butdon't, don't do it.
It's not worth it, becausewhat's the point of building
something beautiful if you'retoo burnt out to enjoy it?
Okay, um, this week I want youto choose peace on purpose.

(05:39):
Journal it, protect it, speakit out loud.
We talk about manifestingthings.
Manifest your peace.
Okay, try that.
I just want, like I said again,I always I'm going to keep
saying it.
I want to do a, I wanted to do apart two of this uh, protecting

(06:00):
your peace, or finding peace, because, uh, I think it's
important, you know, I thinkit's.
I think it's one of the thingsthat you have to put on your
to-do list.
With all the other many thingsthat you're doing throughout the
week.
You have to put some time asidefor yourself, for your
well-being, for your mental andphysical well-being.

(06:23):
So, you know, I might do a partthree of this.
I don't know if I, you know, ifI feel like people are they're
gravitating towards this type ofinformation.

(06:44):
I might do a part three If youguys do me a favor and you could
send me a text on on my websiteand let me know what you think
about purpose alignment pieceand these type of episodes and
the information that's comingout of them.
So, uh, at at this point, um, Ihope this episode helps you.

(07:05):
Share it with anotherentrepreneur or a content
creator, artist who needs thereminder.
Share it with them.
Let's talk about it.
Ok, but until next time, protect your peace and your
purpose, and thank you so muchagain for listening.
