Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello there, creators
and candle lovers, welcome back
to another episode of Not JustCandle Talk, where we keep it
raw, real and relevant forentrepreneurs, dreamers and
doers.
Today's episode is close to myheart.
I'm sharing thebehind-the-scenes truth about a
(00:23):
business that started in mykitchen, grew into a full blown
brand and is now entering awhole new era.
Yes, this is the journey ofGalore Candles Six years of wax
wicks, late nights, failedformulas, pop-up shops, burnouts
(00:46):
, bounce backs and now a boldrebirth.
If you're a candle maker, asmall business dreamer or just
someone rebuilding their brandfrom the ground up, this one's
for you.
Let me take you back into thebeginning.
(01:06):
Galore Candles was born out of aneed for peace.
We didn't just want to sellcandles.
We wanted to create moments, moments of calm, confidence, joy
and grounding.
Every cent we poured was astory, a memory and a message.
(01:28):
In the early days, it washustle mode 24-7, hand-pouring
small batches, standing atvendor events in the cold and in
the hot weather, building acustomer base, one conversation
at a time, literally Learningthe hard way about labels, wic
(01:52):
testing and inventory management.
But what kept us going waspeople, the people, the support
and, of course, the feedback.
The people, the support and, ofcourse, the feedback, our
customers who told us thiscandle helped me sleep or I
(02:15):
brought this for my grandmotheror my mother or for some
coworkers during the holidayseason.
Galore became more than candles.
It became a connection.
But let's be real Behind everybeautiful product photo was a
tired entrepreneur struggling toscale.
(02:36):
We hit a wall.
We hit many walls, actually.
I've said this before in pastepisodes Peaks and valleys.
It's a real thing.
Scaling as a small businessmeant nonstop production,
inconsistent income, overwhelmedfrom social media trends,
(03:02):
feeling like we were alwayschasing but never arriving.
For a while we kind ofconsidered quitting, but then we
paused, we zoomed out and werealized we don't want to give
up.
We just want to do somethingdifferently or a little
(03:25):
different.
So in six years, galore Candlesis transforming.
We're rebuilding, rebrandingand we're going wholesale.
You ask why?
Well, because it's time to stophustling product by product and
(03:47):
start moving in bulk withimpact kosher wax, eco-friendly
packaging, luxury style branding, scents that move emotions, not
just units.
We now work with boutiques, gift shops, we do subscription
(04:13):
boxes, companies.
We work with people incompanies, a few event planners
and fellow entrepreneurs whowant to start their own brand
candle line, branded candle line, galore Candles.
(04:35):
Wholesale isn't just aboutscaling us, it's about serving
others, and here's the best part.
We now can offer private labelopportunities so you can launch
your own candle line without theheadache of testing, pouring or
packaging.
We also are offering startupsupport with wholesale bundles
(04:58):
for beginners wholesale bundlesfor beginners and, of course,
we're going to do someeducational content, some
pricing strategies and any tipswe can give out for any startups
who wants to start a candlebrand.
We kind of wish someone hadtold us the truth when we
(05:22):
started, but now we are the onesfor you.
We've been through the fireright, literally.
Now we're lighting the way forothers and we're going to do
that gracefully.
So what's next, you ask?
Okay, no-transcript, and, ofcourse, our new wholesale
(06:24):
platform.
We're still tweaking thewebsite right now, but the
website is live as we speak tothis day.
We just have to do a couple ofmore tweaks to it and, of course
, it'll be minimums andeverything you need to stock up.
(06:44):
All right, if you ever wanted tostart your own candle brand or
either add candles to yourexisting shop or want to do a
gift branded candle at your nextevent, galore is here to help
you do that without startingfrom scratch.
Do that without starting fromscratch.
(07:06):
So, because entrepreneurshipshould be beautiful, right, but
can also burn you out.
We've been through it.

everything.
It's really about doing theright things with purpose, with
community and, of course, avision.
And today I'm proud to say thatGalore Candles is no longer
(07:30):
just a candle brand.
We are now a platform, aresource and a revival From wax
to wholesale.
We are still glowing andbecause we have a lot of people
who've asked you know, are youstill doing the candles?
Are you guys still doing thecandles?
So this is the answer to, uh,that main question we get all
(07:54):
the time.
I just wanted to touch on this,uh, because I think it's
important, especially when youdo a rebranding, you have to let
your community know why you'redoing the rebranding, when it's
going to take place and how thefuture looks for you, because

Everyone can't do it.
