Chitt’s pride in his rugged good looks takes a serious hit when a lazy day at Possum Creek turns into a four-hour sunbaking session gone horribly wrong. Waking up looking like “a half-naked Greek god with farmer’s tan and mosquito bites,” Chitt’s skin turns redder than a baboon’s behind at a hot yoga class.
Peeling himself off the lawn chair like melted cheese, he endures two weeks of misery—tight skin, constant pain, and bugs treating him like a walking barbecue. The doc calls him a “human chimney,” but Chitt learns the hard way: always wear sunscreen… or at least coat yourself in Crisco for “even browning.”
Through all the pain and peeling, the lesson is clear: no matter how crispy life makes you, you gotta keep strutting like a rotisserie king ready for round two.
Moral: Shit may fry you up, but it sure as hell can’t serve you.
