Explicit Books in Iowa Schools - Getting Beyond the Narrative with Teri Patrick

In this informative episode Teri and I discuss the Oversite Committee hearing that she participated in at the capitol two weeks ago, along with four other Iowa mothers who shared their experiences with the convoluted and ineffective process of taking obscene material through the  "reconsideration process".  We discuss the false narrative about Moms for Liberty being labeled as "Book Banners" and review audio of an IDOE hearing in which Teri was interrogated and then told that there was no objective criteria for allowing a book to be submitted into the school.
