This is a heart-wrenching real-life story of a family struck by an enormous tragedy when a sudden tsunami devastated their lives completely. Om Swami says that it is tragic enough when someone loses one of their dear family members, but, not knowing if anyone’s family member was living or dead and hoping desperately to find them alive is like dying each moment and every day, again and again. Om Swami further says that reason is the killer of empathy and that matters of the heart can be handled only by the heart and not by reasoning with a person.
