(00:00):

have thought to team up WillFerrell and Reese Witherspoon for
a rom com? Did you ever thinkabout that, Diane?
No, I had never thought aboutthat. But it worked.
But it worked. I was justgonna say, did it work? Did the guy
get the girl? Did the girl getthe guy?
Well, we're not gonna say.
We're not gonna say. We're notgonna give away the ending. But find
(00:23):
out more about this wonderfulopportunity for a movie. In this
special over the Teacup Sundayepisode, we dive into the latest
buzz in the world of film whenwe discuss the much anticipated rom
com. You're cordially invited. It hit screens in January 30, 2025,
and it's a brilliant movie. Iknow that IMDb. Some of the people
(00:46):
on there really aren'tthinking straight, but we're going
to talk about that. I'm yourhost, Michael Hurst. I'm here with
my lovely wife and co host, Diane.
Hello, everyone.
So grab your favorite cup oftea and whatever else you're drinking
and let's have a conversation.Hello, Diane.
(01:19):
Hello, Michael.
I forgot to say, this is onemore thing before you go. Welcome
to the show over the TeacupSunday over the Teacup Sunday with
Michael and Diane. Yeah, we'llget it straight here pretty soon.
It's fine. It's fine.
They know we have the Grammyson our mind because the Grammys are
about ready to start and we'vebeen watching Grammy stuff all day.
(01:41):
Yes. Not to be confused.
I got my funky scarf on. It'sgot the monkey colors because it's,
you know, great. Grammy.
Grammy. Yeah. Not to beconfused with grandma. Grammy. Grammy.
These are the Grammys.
The Grammys.
The Grammys.
Music. Music.
Yes. Not that I ever called mygrandma Grammy, but I've been watching
(02:03):
too much of Sheldon Young.Sheldon. Mama. Grammy, you know.
Yeah. Meemaw, Memaw.
Meemaw. That's it. Hey, let'stalk a little bit about this film.
It stars the hilarious duo ofWill Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon,
is available exclusively onAmazon Prime Video. And this movie
(02:23):
takes the classic weddingcomedy to new heights as two families
accidentally double book thesame wedding venue, leading to a
series of chaotic andheartwarming events.
Yes.
So, yeah, it's called you'recordially invited.
You're cordially invited. Yes.
Like I said. And you know,it's really cool the way they. We
noticed that right off the bathow they actually present the opening
(02:48):
Credits?
Yeah. As invitations, sort of.
Yeah. There's an invitation. Yeah.
Yeah. It's pretty cool becauseit allows the audience to know exactly
who is playing which partinstead of just scrolling through
the names and you're like, well, I don't know them by their
name. Who is that you actuallyget to know right off the bat who
(03:12):
the mother of the bride is,who the.
You know, the relatives of thebride, who the. Who the bridesmaids
are, who the best men are andthat kind of a thing. So, yeah, I
think what a uniqueperspective in doing that. That was
pretty slick when they did itthat way, you know, and, you know,
we saw the advertisements forit and everything, and at first you
kind of think, does thatreally work? Does that dynamic work?
(03:34):
Yeah, at first I was like WillFerrell and Reese Witherspoon. Let
me think about this for asecond. But I mean, I love them both
and everything. So I was like, okay, yeah, we.
Just put them together. Butthey actually had been in something
together, so I was going tosurprise you with that. Yeah, I'll
tell you about it in a fewminutes. So they actually did. They.
(03:57):
They were in something on filmtogether. Yeah. So it was kind of
like. Yeah, they had. They hada previous little interlude. We'll
call it that way.
Okay. But, you know, I can'tbelieve we missed that.
Well, we didn't really miss ityet. We saw it. You'll recognize
(04:18):
it when I bring it up to you.
Oh, okay. I'm getting old.
It'll be a surprise. It'll bea surprise. Yeah, it's just like
getting up in the morning.Surprise, I'm awake.
Surprise.
Well, you know, weddingplanning is always kind of unique.
I mean, look, how many othermovies have we watched? The Wedding
Crashers, there's a whole slewof stuff with the Wedding Planner,
(04:39):
actually with Jennifer Lopez, and several other people have done
it on different versions ofit. Four Weddings and a Funeral.
You know, there's a lot ofwedding themed movies, and we just
watched it and actuallyreviewed it with Brooke Shields,
you know, that was all about awedding and planning a wedding and
so forth.
And who could forget Father ofthe Bride?
(05:01):
Oh, Father of the Bride. Yes,several of them. And the one afterwards,
kind of a remake type one. So,yeah, we. And we understand wedding
planning never without itschallenges because we've done it
ourselves. We did our wedding. We were our own wedding planners.
Then we helped Caitlin andCord with their wedding kind of as
(05:24):
their wedding planners, youknow, and that came with its own
challenges within itselfbecause, you know, you kind of. You
have that dynamic. I won't sayunique dynamic, but we have that
dynamic of who's doing whatand who's paying for what and who's
going to contribute the mostand what the wedding is supposed
(05:46):
to look like. And, you know, between the father of the bride,
as you said earlier, and themother of the bride and. Or the father
or mother of the groom, youknow, there's always. You're kind
of like, who's doing what. So,yeah, we had that before, but we're
going to discuss the films. We're going to discuss this film
(06:08):
and how they portray thestress and the excitement of planning
a big event like that. And Ithink, you know, it's. It is. We're
not going to give a whole lotaway other than something that you
can't read, for example. So,obviously, Will Ferrell is a father
of the bride. ReeseWitherspoon isn't actually the mother
of the bride. No, wait a minute.
(06:30):
No, she's the sister.
She's the sister of the bride.
Of the other bride. Yes.
Yes. Of the other bride. I'llget it together here in a second.
There are two brides. Thereare two families.
Two brides. Two families.Because they're both trying to get
the same place at the sametime. They both kind of got double
(06:50):
booked. And there's a twist tothat. We're not going to give that
away. No, but they got doublebooked at this. This kind of. I guess
it's kind of like theHamptons. You know, everybody goes,
oh, I really want to getmarried at this place. We want to
get married on that dock. Wewant to get married in this area.
So, you know, and it books upquickly. So, you know, it. It. There's
(07:11):
a complication there that kindof happened to show up and great
stories. You know, it's got a.It's got a wonderful. Obviously,
we already know Will Ferrelland Weisch Witherspoon. We know them
in everything, so many things, especially Elf and Spirited with
Will Ferrell, Ron Burgundy, and. What the hell was the name of
(07:37):
that movie?
Anchorman.
Anchorman. Thank you. Soundslike we know him and everything.
I couldn't remember the name. And, of course, Reese Witherspoon
has really come a long way.Yeah, that was the first time we
saw her. And what she has donewith the production company. Her
production company is involvedwith this. So is Will Ferrell's production
company, which I think is kindof cool. They both had, you know,
(07:58):
creative input within this, and again, it's kind of you know,
you look this, you don't. Notsure how it works, but it works.
It does. We thought so.Apparently other people had other
opinions.
Well, you know, it's varieddepending upon where you look. And,
you know, IMDb I don't take.And when I say this, I'm probably
(08:20):
going to give some backlash, but in reality, it's one of these
things that it's like anybody, everybody wants to be a critic. In
this particular case, we'rebeing a critic. We're giving you
our opinions. We areaficionados when it comes to film,
TV stars, movies. We loveevery aspect of them, but we give
you a wide verse of whether ornot we really like something or whether
we really don't like somethingor if something works or it doesn't
(08:41):
work. So we try to give youmore of a personal, family owned
perspective of, hey, this ishow we feel about it. You know, we're
not here to sell anything. We're not here. We don't get any
payment. We don't get. Nope, you know, there's no, we don't get
free stuff.
No, we're not getting paid andwe don't get any, any swag for this.
(09:02):
I'd love some swag.
We love some swag. But we'rejust here to promote it because,
you know, we like to have goodfun. This is our escape. And you
know, as we've talked about inother podcasts and other arenas,
film and TV has always beenour escape, you know, from when I
was a child. When you were achild, you know, it was our getaway.
This is how we cope withthings. And, you know, you go watch
(09:24):
a good movie or watch a good,A good film or a good series, or
get involved in a good comedy,a great comedy, an action film, you
know, you get to live withinthat realm for a little while in
movies and film or, excuse me,movies and tv. So it's kind of our
escape. So, yes, we're givingyou a perspective from what we feel
(09:46):
as well. But some of thesepeople that are giving these, these
reviews think they're the NewYork Times critic or the Hollywood
Reporter critic or the Varietycritic. And you know, they think,
they think.
They are, but they're not.
They are. Yeah, yeah, yeah.Anyway, it's got a great ensemble
cast, Geraldine. And I'm goingto mess this young woman's name up.
(10:07):
And I'm so sorry. In thebeginning, this Viswanth. Geraldine
Viswanterthan. That's prettygood. Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro
and Jack McBrayer who each intheir. In their own unique story,
you know, flair to the story. And we know. We know some of these.
(10:31):
We know everybody, pretty mucheverybody that's in the ensemble
cast. We've seen them in something.
We've seen.
One way or another, we've seenthem in something. So they pull the
cast together probably becauseof the two stars that are in the
film itself. They pulled theseindividuals and we like them, we
love them and everything thatthey've done. So, you know, and the
fact that, you know the filmfollowing two families who accidentally
(10:52):
double booked the samewedding, you know, Will Ferrell plays.
I understand this from afather's perspective. I did it with
Caitlin. It's probably gonna. Not probably. Probably. I'll admit
it, it'll probably happen withNicole too, because those are my
baby girls, right. And I wantto make sure it's perfect for them.
(11:15):
I do my best to be the bestfather that I can be. I know that
you do that as a mother. So asa father, Will's feral character,
obviously he plays the overthe top father of the bride, while
Reese Witherspoon isdetermined to make the sister of
the other bride better. Andthe chaos, the chaos that ensues
(11:35):
between both of them fightingover who's going to get what, who's
going to do what. I think isboth hilarious and heartwarming at
the same time because you can.
See, yeah, there was a lot of.A lot of laughing and. But, you know,
some touching things too. So.
Well, it. Because I think itbrings. Not everybody has their own
(11:56):
stories. You know, I thinkwhat's different between this and
like the Father of the Bride, because Father of the Bride was a
remake with Steve Martin.Steve Martin did a remake of the
original Father of the Bride. So we, we obviously love Steve Martin
and Diane Keaton in, intheirs. Kimberly Paisley was the
(12:17):
daughter in those, you know, remakes. And it was a remake from
Spencer Tracy's version, whichwas 40 years before Steve Martin's.
Back in the 1950s, SteveMartin was in the 90s. And, you know,
I think there was three ofthem with Steve Martin. And, you
know, that one in itself, youknow, those. We remember those distinctly.
(12:37):
I remember watching the oldone with my parents at the time.
It was probably a rerun when Isaw it because I was very young.
I don't remember when in the1950s it was, but it changed quite
a bit since then. So, youknow, we're not here to talk about
Father the Bride, but kind ofit relates to this because things
(12:58):
have changed drastically from1950 through the 90s through today.
When you see Will Ferrellpaying the father he's playing because
he's a single father. And wewon't, and we won't discuss the,
the giveaway, the, the reasonwhy, but, you know, he is attached
to his daughter in such a waythat he just wants to make sure I,
(13:21):
I, I, I mean, I think Isometimes I'm an overprotective dad,
you know, at times.
But I don't think you're, Idon't think you're quite as over
the top as his character asWill Ferrell is. But, you know, there's
moments probably.
Yeah, I'm sure there are. ButI mean, it's just part of being a
parent. I mean, you reallycare about your kids, but, you know,
(13:42):
they, they, everybody in it,everybody. Will Ferrell your expect
your expectations of WillFerrell. I think that's probably
what most people are having ahard time getting over when they
do the review of this rom combecause they're not used to seeing
Will Ferrell in, I mean, spirit did is probably the closest.
(14:03):
Yeah, that's really kind ofdifferent from what his previous
stuff was. So what you see is,you see, you see his comedy, you
see the awkwardness, you seethe hijinks, you see the, you know,
the goof, so to speak. But youalso see a very serious side, like
(14:24):
we did in Spirited, where, youknow, he played a very wide, a different
character than he did in Elf,but kind of similar. There were some
things in there, but, youknow, it was a broader portrayal
showing his acting ability tobe able to take it where it is. I'd
seen him in another, anotherfilm that, you know, I think they
(14:47):
tried that and it didn'treally, it kind of flopped. So, you
know, it, this is where Ithink they really brought their A
game to it. And, you know, thefact that I told you here's the little
secret. Little secret. It'sbeen a long time since we've seen
Reese Witherspoon and WillFerrell together. You ready for this?
It was on Saturday Night Live. There was a Little Mermaid skit with
(15:10):
Reese Witherspoon and WillFerrell right after. It was like
post 9 11.
Okay.
It's an episode of SaturdayNight Live. You just passed nine,
you know, post 9 11. And it,they were, they delivered a comedy
skit during that time. And shetold Jimmy Fallon in an interview
(15:32):
that she was scared out of amind having to work with Will Ferrell.
Actually, she was intimidatedby Will Ferrell and thought, I have
to do this with Will Ferrell.
Interesting. I don't rememberthat. I'll have to look for that.
Yeah, I mean, I'm sure. I'msure. I'm seeing. I've seen it. I
just. I don't remember that.
Well, considering they're intheir 50th year, and the reality
(15:56):
is that this is like, what,20? How long has it been? 20 years?
23. 23 and a half years.
So 9, 11. Yeah, you would haveto look. You'd have to look around
the 23rd year, probably 24thyear, because I don't know how far
(16:16):
afterwards. But so, yeah, that's the last time they actually
worked together. So when theygot approached to do this, they were
really excited about it.
Yeah, well, it worked, I think.
I think so, too.
Really good. Yeah, it wasreally good.
And obviously, again, we don'thave to explain who they are because
they left their mark in theindustry, in their entertainment
industry and continue to doso, both as an actor, actors, producers.
(16:39):
You know, her productioncompany has really taken off and
has done so many things. Ithink she's part of. What's that
one we were watching? Big Lil,Was it Big Little Lie? No.
Yeah. Big Little Lies.
Big Little Lies. Big LittleLie. Yeah, she.
But she's also part of themorning show, too, isn't she?
(17:00):
Her production show. She's aproducer on that as well. So, you
know, she's come a long wayfrom when we first know her, our
daughter. If you saw a pictureof our oldest daughter, she could
be Reese Witherspoon's sister. We don't know how we did that.
I don't have a clue.
We don't. We just. We don'tknow. No, we don't know.
No. But when. When Caitlin wasyounger and we were taking her to
(17:24):
some acting work, actingworkshops, casting calls. You know
that one. There was one agentthat was really, really interested
in her and said that that shereminded him of a younger Reese Witherspoon.
Yeah. And then we startedwatching all these, and we went,
oh, yeah, now I see it. Andnow every time we see Reese Witherspoon,
we see Caitlin.
(17:45):
Yeah, we do.
Every time.
It's here.
So if you want to know whatour daughter looks like, that's what
our daughter looks like.
Yeah. And like, again, we haveno idea how we did it.
No, no, we just. We justdon't. It's just weird. But, yeah,
it. It. When you look back ateven the cast. I mean, the cast we
know. Geraldine, Pleaseforgive me again. Voss Wasenlin.
(18:10):
Vas wathan.
That's probably really faroff, but.
No, it's pretty close. V I S Wa n a T h a n vis 1 hey, Geraldine,
I apologize, but, you know, maybe you can reach out and we'll.
But we know her from.
We'll correct it for everybody.
(18:32):
Yes, actually, absolutely. Andwe know her from Miracle Workers.
Miracle Workers, yeah. Whichis a really cute show. Yeah.
She's got an extensivefilmography aside from that. But
we know her mostly from theMiracle Workers with Harry Potter
man.
Daniel Radcliffe.
(18:52):
Yes, I still see him as Harry Potter.
Okay.
He's grown out of thatimmensely, but, you know.
Yes, he has.
It's. Especially when you seehim in. In the. That series, so,
you know, that in itself,Miracle Workers kind of changes your
perception a little bit, but,you know, once you go naked on stage,
(19:15):
I guess it changed yourperception anyway. I didn't. He did.
And we didn't see him.
We heard about it, but we justheard about it.
We heard about it.
Yeah. Just for the record, soMeredith Hagner, we know her best
from shrinking. She's onshrinking, which is one of our favorite
things. We've. We've had adiscussion about that and we've also
(19:39):
done a review on this one as well.
Bad Monkey.
Bad Monkey. And boy, she's abad bitch in that one.
Oh, she is. She's really theone you love to hate in that one.
Oh, she. She was not. I likedher in this, too.
She played it really well. Imean, she really played it well because
(19:59):
it allowed her to. At leastin. In. In. In this one. She. In
Bad Monkey, she was a realbad. She was a villain in Bad Monkey.
But you learned, like yousaid, learn to love. And we. We reviewed
that. If you haven't seen it,you should watch it or go listen
to our review and then go backand watch it because we don't want
(20:20):
to give any spoilers anywayaway with that. But yeah, she plays
great. She's a great. In thiscast. She plays the part really well.
And it's. It's kind ofopposite what we just watched her
in.
I think so. Yeah. Definitely opposite.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. AndJimmy Tatro. Jimmy Tatro, we know
(20:43):
from one of our other shows, which they really shouldn't have
canceled.
I know. I'm so mad.
Yeah, he played the brother, the rich brother in Home Improvement.
Home Economics.
Oh, excuse me. Home Economics.Don't know why I said Home Improvement.
I'm thinking. Thinking of thearticle I just read with Tim Allen,
so. Because, yeah, he did HomeImprovement. And then they got a
(21:06):
new show.
He's got it shifting gears, which is, which is also good.
Yeah, we need to talk aboutshifting gears, you know, pretty
soon too, in regard to that.
Sorry, I got it like itch onmy nose.
And Jack McBrayer, he, youknow, everybody knows him from 30
rocks.
Yeah. And, and all a lot ofother things. Other things where
(21:28):
he's usually this kind.
Of character he plays.
I mean, I'm just thinkingabout that one scene and I'm, it
just makes me crack up.
He was in several. So I don'tknow which one you're talking about.
I talk about the hair.
Oh, yeah, there were several, several references to the hair, so.
(21:54):
And he reacts pretty much. Yeah.
It was so perfect.
Well, you know, it is, it is.It's a great cast and the people
that are involved in it arejust amazing. I think that, you know,
(22:14):
everybody that's an ensemblewith it just really bring it to life.
And you know, there's hundred.I, I would say at least 100, 150
other people, extras and soforth that are also.
Yeah.
You know, in and around thisbecause of the wedding parties and
things like that. But they alldo such a wonderful job. The chemistry.
We have to give a specialshout out to somebody that you didn't
(22:36):
mention yet. Leanne Morgan, who is a stand up comedian.
Oh yeah.
Who I love, I love so much. And she plays Reese's other sister
and.
Oh my God, she acts just likeshe did on stage when we, when we
saw her in that special.
Yeah, she's, her character isvery similar to her stand up character.
(22:57):
Her stand up. So if you loveher stand up.
Yeah, but, yeah, she's, she'salmost not acting.
Yeah, but, but, but she didgreat too.
She did great as well. But Imean, she's not acting like herself
is what she did.
Yeah, they probably just, Ithink there were, there were probably
a couple scenes. I think thatthey just said, go for it.
Yeah. They said just beyourself and there you go.
(23:20):
And they tried not to laugh.
So what do you think of thechemistry between Will Ferrell and
Reese Witherspoon since wefirst thought, you know, is this,
does this work?
I wasn't, I wasn't sure aboutit. I, when I heard about it, I thought,
well, I love them both, so I'mgoing to give it a shot. But it wasn't.
And I wasn't sure about it.Well, right away. Yeah, right away
(23:42):
it clicked.
Well, and I think that we werelucky in the fact that, yes, we love
Will Ferrell and everythingshe's been. And we love Witherspoon
and everything she's been in.And you kind of. I've never ever
pictured these two in a.Together in a situation like this.
But it did work. The dynamicdid work, and they brought their
(24:04):
characters to life, you know, immensely brought the characters
to life, and I think it bringsyou through the movie. So, you know,
if you read any of the otherreviews, Hollywood Reporter and Variety
did a pretty good review onthem, so I would respect them a little
more. But, you know, I thinkthat you'll. You'll kind of agree
with us. And, you know, I hadto actually ask Diane how. Well,
(24:28):
I'll leave that out of there. But I. When I first looked at them,
I thought, well, it's a hugeage difference, but there really
is.
Oh, the age difference. It's not.
Yeah, yeah. It's really.
It's the same. It's the sameage difference as you and I, sort.
So, yeah. So then I went, okay, that. That, you know, that's.
That works. And then there's.There's a reason for that, which
gets cleaned up later, andyou'll kind of see it. So, you know,
(24:50):
we'll see. But some of thefunniest moments. You just mentioned
one of them, kind of, sorta.
And it's. It's so subtle, youknow, it's very subtle.
Well, these guys are pros. Imean, these. When I say guys are
guys and gals. Women. Both menand women. Everybody that's in there.
It's the lady. I always forgether name. She's the. The blonde,
(25:14):
heavyset comedian. She playedthe boat captain.
Oh, Fortune Feimster.
Yes. Fortune features in it,you know.
Yeah.
Everybody in it.
She's not in it enough. Idon't think I love her. She wasn't.
She wasn't. She wasn't. But.
But she's in it, too.
But everybody really does agood job to bring it forward. And,
(25:37):
you know, it gave me. I mean, obviously I didn't want to get up.
You know, I had to pee. And,you know, I sat there and waited
and waited and waited. We havea pause button, right?
We do, but it was paused.
I'm gonna go pee. But I didn't.
We didn't want to stop.
Just didn't want to stop about it.
Yeah.
But, you know, I think thatsome of the funny. The man, you know,
(26:01):
it'd be hard to say what'sreally funny about it, because I
don't want to give it. I'llsay spoiler. So Because I got to
say, this part, there's aspoiler alert. I'm going to tell
you something that's in themovie that's kind of a surprise.
So if you don't want to hearthis, you need to stop it now and
then watch the movie and thencome back and pick it up from here.
(26:21):
But when Reese Witherspoonwalks in and Will Ferrell's in bed
with an alligator.
I knew that was the part youwere talking about.
That's one. That's one of thefunniest things I've ever seen. And.
(26:42):
And the conversation thatensues. I know.
And what she says.
She says is, like, fantastic. It's great.
Oh, God.
Yeah. It works really well.So. So that I will just mention those
couple. But there's. There's alot of funny scenes in here. There's
a lot in. The dynamics workreally, really well. They play off
of each other really, reallywell. The chemistry and all the cast,
(27:06):
I think, is good. You canbelieve the families. You can believe
some of the family stress andeverything else was going on. That
reminds me of my family. Youknow what I mean? So it did really
well. How does. How do youthink the film portrayed the stress
and excitement of planning abig event? Because we went through
that a couple times.
Yeah. I mean. Yeah, I don't. Idon't know that the planning. They
(27:31):
didn't go into the. They werekind of like. They talk about the
beginning and the engagements, and then kind of the next thing is
they're there at the venue.
Well, but they have to workthe planning. I would say more is
involved in having to figureout how to do. How to. How to accomplish
(27:51):
what. The end. I'm mincing mywords. How to accomplish what they
need to accomplish to makeeverything work out for everybody
involved.
Right.
There's some planning inregard to that and some chaos.
Right, Right. Yeah. No, Ithink it. I think that they. There's
really nothing else they couldhave done. I mean, than what they
(28:14):
all agreed to.
And what they all agreed.
And I thought. And I thinkthat the agreement they made of how
to make it work was kind oflike. Okay. I mean, that's really.
They were really splitting itdown the middle, like. Like to things
that you couldn't really splitdown the middle. And. And, yeah,
so I. I thought it was. Ithink it showed. You know, look,
(28:37):
people can make things. Peoplecan agree on things, even the hard
things, you know, so that waskind of good to see that they weren't.
They didn't fight Too longover how to make it work. They compromised
right away, which I thoughtwas interesting.
But. Well, at times it took alittle. Took a little bit longer
on some things, but they doget things worked out.
(29:00):
Things. Things got messed up.
Well, you know, I think from. It's chaotic at times, but it's really
heartwarming. And what you seeis not only a. A comedic side, but
you see the stress and you seethe love and you see the heartbreak
(29:21):
in. In some of the things. Youknow, it gives a pause for the heartbreak
portion of it, where you kindof go, wow, that, you know, it really
catches you. It touches you. Ican point to my heart, but you don't
see me pointing to my heart.
No, it had. It had. It hadeverything. I thought it was great.
So what do you think theoverall message of your cordially
(29:46):
invited kind of. Kind ofbrings to the viewers and what they
should look forward to?
Well, I think compromisewithin families, first of all, and
communicate. Look, acompromise when there's a hard situation
with strangers. Communicationwithin families.
Yeah.
And how important that is. Andkind of putting yourself in the other
(30:13):
person's shoes.
Yeah. Because in the midst ofall the chaos, you see family coming
together, which I think is agood message for everyone involved.
You know, it's a good movie. Isay, I know that. You know, on IMDb
they're giving it like a 5 outof 10 or something. Or 7 out of 10.
I'm giving at least a 9 out of10 or 10 out of 10. I really enjoyed
(30:35):
it.
At the very, very least. Maybe8.5. At the very least.
I would say at the least.Yeah. And realistically, while you're
on here, if you haven't seenit yet and you're going to go watch
it, be sure to continuewatching because there's things that
go through the credits thatare important to the show. It continues.
(30:57):
It's not just the bloopers.
No.
It's actually a continuationof some initial scenes of everything.
So watch.
It kind of wraps things up. Yeah.
I mean, you'll see a point init that when you get to that point,
you're going to see that.Okay, now it's time to stop it. If
you don't want to watch therest of the credits kind of a thing,
(31:19):
you'll get to that point, you'll recognize that point. But.
But there's a lot of stuffthat you got to watch up to that
point that is really importantto the whole story of the film, and
that might be why a lot ofpeople are Going. I just didn't quite
get this because they neverwatched the whole thing. They stopped
it before it hit those points,I think. And it's imperative to the.
To the storyline and to the film.
(31:42):
Yes, very important. So don't.Don't just. When the credits start,
don't stop it. Keep watching.
So absolutely, myrecommendation is thumbs up if I
could do it.
And you need to see it. See it.
You need to see it.
We need to figure out ourratings thing. So, like, it's over
(32:04):
the teacup. So five teacups. Idon't know. Like, what's our top
rating? Are we doing teacups? Are we doing sugar? Teaspoons of
sugar?
Well, I don't want to promote.This is a 5 teaspoon. 5 teaspoon
sugar.
Teaspoon sugar. Right now.
(32:25):
We'll say. We'll call it a.Yeah, let's go. Out of five out of
five teacups, I'd say this isa five teacup show. Or at least four
and a half.
Four and a half, right.
That's a new thing. Welcome toover the Teacup, where our.
Rating system is teacups, because, you know, we're not really
(32:47):
that original.
Hey, we can stack them, right? How many teacups can you stack? Well,
five. If it gets any, youknow, get too high, you're gonna
have to come.
Up with the graphic for that.
I will have to come up withthe teacups.
The teacups add. Go on top ofeach other.
Yeah, both. We'll. We'llsquare that away.
Or if something really sucks, you show them. You show them stacked,
and then they fall. Yo, break.
(33:10):
That's a good idea. See,you're with us on the. Our community
is with us on this journey ofdiscovery and invention and.
Yes, crazy. Whatever.
This is one more thing beforeyou go. Do you have anything before
we leave?
It is National Tater Tot Day,and no, I really, really want to.
(33:34):
Like a big old plate of tatertots covered with cheese and bacon
and ranch dressing.
We could do our rating systemin tater tots. Is it a 10 tater tot
or a 3 tater tot.
I like it.
A 10 tater tot or a 5 tater tot.
I like it.
With your cup of tea.
With your cup of tea. I don'tknow if tater tots and tea go, but
(33:55):
whatever.
Anyway, well, that works.Everybody go out and have a. Have
a plate full of tater tots.Don't choke.
Well, yeah, have a plate forme, please, because I really want
some and I don't have any.
