Thanks for having me. So niceto be here.
What a journey you've been on.It's like an incredible journey that

(01:52):
you've been on. You came fromwhere you have to where you're at
today. I like to start at thebeginning. Where'd you grow up?
Adelaide, South Australia, atthe very bottom. The dry country,
we call it. It hasn't rainedhere for like six months.
Sounds like Arizona.
California. Yeah, yeah, yeah.Beautiful, beautiful place to live.

(02:17):
It's like a big country town,Adelaide. So it's quiet, it's lovely.
Not much traffic.
Do you have brothers, sisters, siblings?
Yes, I have three, so I'm oneof four. The most interesting thing
about my childhood is that Iam from a carnival family, so from
both sides of my family. Bothgrandparents were slideshow operators,

(02:41):
so they have rides and gamesand that's how my parents match.
Voila.
That's very cool, actually.What a unique background. I think
that we. Back in the old days,we always used to. Everybody especially.
I'm a little older. You cansee from the hair, the gray, right,
the silver, you know, what'dyou want to Be when you grow up.

(03:03):
I want to run away with a circus.
Yeah, that's right.
It's kind of one of thosethings. Yeah, this works. Excuse
me. Did you go to university,Jeff did. What would you want you
to be when you grew up?
I did. I went to universityand I studied visual art. That was

(03:25):
the first thing I did. I wasreally into photography, so that's
where I went. And I loved it.And but at that time, a lot of my
work was based on the mind, body, connection. And because I was
really passionate aboutmeditation and the inner journey
and like, spirituality. And soafter I studied that, I went and

(03:50):
found some sort of alternativetherapy that I could get, sink my
teeth into. And I justhappened to find shiatsu, which is
Japanese acupressure andtraditional Chinese medicine. Yeah.
And so that's how I discoveredReiki and energy. And I just loved
it. I was blown away by this, you know, this big discovery that

(04:11):
I could feel energy flowing. Iwas, I was like, ah, this confirms
for me everything that I feltto be true about my life, you know?
Yeah, it's a wonderful feelingwhen we get to connect with that
part of the energy source. It,I think to me, it's one of those
things that once you get, andyou'd get to touch it, you get to
feel it, you get to understandhow it helps us. It really opens

(04:34):
the doors to our mind, ourbody and our soul connection. It
allows us to kind of feel itto a point where we get a deeper
connection to the universe asa whole. At least that's my philosophy.
Yeah, absolutely. And like, Igrew up in a Catholic household and
Catholic schools, and, youknow, I never felt that connection,

(04:55):
that deep connection to theuniverse, source, God. And so when
I, you know, experienced thatreiki energy for the first time,
I was like, ah, this is, thisis what they're talking about. But,
you know, we'll never shownthat experience where I wasn't.
Yeah, you know, it, I find alot, I interview a lot. I don't,

(05:15):
I mean, I won't say reformedCatholic, but I, I, I grew up Catholic
as well, and I'm not apracticing Catholic because of the,
some of the ideologies andthings that are, that are within
that. Once I became more of aspiritual individual and started
connecting with a highersource, connecting with the universe
and understanding that we areall connected. You can see my hand

(05:38):
doing a big sweep. We're allconnected, you know, together, and
that we have the opportunityto reach into that and touch it and
feel it, that it changed Mylife as well. It's one of those things.
Your journey into healing isdeeply personal. How did, how did
you. How did that come about? Was it anxiety? Any depression? What
led. What led you to that? Please.

(06:00):
So. Well, I. When I went toschool, one of my close friends was.
Had. Sorry, she was. Had achildhood illness called cystic fibrosis.
I don't know if you've everheard of that. And she was. And so
back in the 80s and 90s, itwas terminal. You know, you weren't

(06:24):
going to live past 20 or 30 ifyou're lucky, right? So we grew up.
So me and my friends, we grewup, like, knowing that this dear
friend of ours was going todie soon, and we didn't know when.
And so that just made mereally curious and really passionate
about, you know, spiritualityand our role here in life. So I was

(06:48):
often questioning the meaningof life at a really young age. And
that, I think, is what hasdriven that. That need to find out
more. To find out, you know, what. How we can heal ourselves.
Not that we can, you know, touch. Totally heal everything in

(07:10):
this life. Of course, we stillneed doctors and surgeons for things,
right? But, you know, we dohave a lot of power to help shift
and move problems and facechallenges in our lives. And I don't
think that children and peopleare really taught about their own

(07:33):
humanity properly, or theirown, what, you know, their own power.
When you lost your. Your. Yourfriend, your schoolmate, did, did
that. Did you recognize anykind of depression or anxiety before
that within your environment? And what, what made you recognize

(07:53):
that you had depression oranxiety and that you had a natural
perspective in order to heal?
Yes. Okay, so that's allright. I was 23, and I had been studying
shiatsu and traditionalChinese medicine and Reiki. And so

(08:16):
I felt like I was really inthis open place of feeling energy.
And, you know, some people arenaturally kinesthetic, so a naturally
more touchy feeling people. And you might know that kind of person
as an empath. Right. So thatis, you know, who I am. And, and
so when I. I was working in acorporate job and I was in a pretty

(08:45):
crappy relationship, and sothose signs and symptoms of anxiety
really came up. And I didn'tknow what was happening to me. I'd
never heard of anxiety before. And I was having, like, chest pain,
panic attack. I was reallynauseous. I was extremely fatigued.
Like, I would get home fromwork and I would just need to have
sleep. I was having gutcramps, brain fog. I just, you know,

(09:08):
I was so confused. I didn'tknow what was going on. So I went
to the GP and I thought I washaving a heart attack, which is what
most people with panic attacksand anxiety. It's the think. And
then she diagnosed me withanxiety and she offered me, you know,
medication, likeantidepressants. And I said, no,

(09:30):
that's fine. Now I know whatit is. I just felt really empowered
that I could go away and dealwith it on my own. Now. That was
because I was also, like, studying, you know, alternative therapy,
and I. I was a meditator aswell, and I was like, okay, I can.
I can do this. I can sort thisout now. I know what it is.

(09:53):
Yeah. I think that anxiety anddepression is very. I don't know
how it is in Australia or evenin Europe compared to the United
States. Here, it's almosttaboo to mention. If you have anxiety
or depression, they reallydon't have a conversation about it
when they really should have aconversation about it. It's not spoken

(10:15):
about like it needs to be.Everybody knows that there's anxiety
and depression within the. Thesociety and culture, but everybody's
afraid to, again have aconversation about it. So once you
recognize that you. That youhad some tools that you were able
to use, is that how you gotinvolved in, like, for example, Reiki

(10:36):
or. Reiki or spiritual healingfrom that perspective?
Well, that's how I healedmyself, right, with anxiety and depression.
I just came back into myselfwith meditation, and I knew a lot

(10:56):
of people in, you know, alternative health, so I was getting
a lot of, like, help andtreatment from those people as well.
I'm doing yoga, you know, exercising, meditation, and just,
you know, just using thatpowerful mindset that, okay, I know
what it is now. I can getthrough it.
Forgive me. I shouldn't havesaid healed. What I should have said

(11:18):
is to manage. You know, I havean autoimmune disease, and I'm not
ever going to be healed fromit, but I can manage this. We have
family members that havedepression and they have anxiety,
and they manage those symptomsand they. And they do it in a holistic
perspective. So my apologiesfor that. It's something that obviously

(11:39):
that you have to manage, butyou have to recognize what you have
to manage.
Yeah, that's right. And sobeing diagnosed for me was that recognition.
And that's what we need to doevery day, is bring our awareness
to ourselves, to our body, ourmind, our spirit. Okay, what's happening
for me today and what do Ineed in this moment that's Going

(12:00):
to help me calm my nervoussystem down. There is something I'd
like to speak here and whatyou said about mental health being
taboo, and I think it's reallychanging a lot in Australia. I've
got kids in high school and Iknow that there is so much help now.

(12:21):
There is so much talk andeducation about mental health, about
anxiety and depression. Like,it's beautiful to see that change
because like I said when, youknow, 25 years ago, I didn't even
know what anxiety was right.Or mental health was. I just thought
mental health was like, youknow, the lost crazy person that

(12:46):
you see on the street. Thefunny thing is, though. Well, it's
not funny, but my father hadactually suffered from anxiety and
depression his adult life andit was kept a secret. And so that
was really taboo. Like it justwas not spoken about in our family.
And even when I was diagnosed,it still was not spoken about for

(13:10):
another, oh, another at least10 of 15 years. So it was a really,
really long time.
Yeah, I agree with that. Thesame thing happens here. My mother
actually was finally diagnosedwith depression and anxiety and finally
admitted it. She had turned 70years old before she could do that.

(13:32):
And once she recognized it andstarted getting some help for it
and talking to people andunderstanding it, she realized that
she'd been dealing with itfor, for decades basically. And.
And it just, yeah, it wassomething she just had to come about.
Now, of course, at that timethat she did this, where she, she's

(13:54):
gone as well quite a ways now.At that time, growing up in the,
you know, the 40s, the 50s,60s, it just something that wasn't
spoken about. Everybody knewit was there, but you just didn't
speak about it. You know, youtalk about healing childhood trauma.
You mentioned the kids thatyou hear talking about your kids
and so forth. How do you helpwith healing childhood trauma and

(14:18):
family conditioning? And doyou think these are deep rooted experiences
affect us all as adults? Doyou think that it's a. I mentioned
the word before we started, intergenerational trauma. Do you
think it's carried forward?
Yeah, absolutely. So somepeople might know that as, you know,
hereditary illness or, youknow. But what I have learned with

(14:45):
working with energy andmindset is that mostly it is, you
know, a conditioned response, you know, that is activated within
us. So just from hearing thestories or being like growing up
in that environment wheresomeone is vibrating at a certain

(15:07):
frequency or they aredisplaying certain behavior or they're
speaking, you know, thecertain language, you know, they
have certain beliefs, it allaffects Us, you know, and that's
why we're all so different. It's because we've grown up in different
households and differentcultures, you know, different religions,

(15:28):
possibly, especially inAustralia. Right. So many different
religions now. Yeah. So all ofthose things are that social conditioning,
that family conditioning thatcreate who we are. And so when we.
Coming back to childhoodtrauma, so we can call these things

(15:51):
big trauma or little, littletrauma, right. There can be big things
that happen to us and they canbe small things that happen to us.
So, you know, the big thingsare obviously, like accidents or,
you know, real bad abuse thathappens. These real shocking things
that can happen to us that wecan experience trauma. And the little

(16:14):
things can be just being toldoff by your parent. Right. Or your
teacher saying something toyou and putting you down. So they
are some of those little, little T's, those little traumas
that we experience in life, but they create who we are as a person.
When you're a child, you're sovulnerable to your experiences and

(16:39):
the things that people saybecause that's the age where you're
learning how to be in theworld. And so what happens in an
impactful situation, this ishow trauma can affect us. So if there's
an impactful situation in yourlife, something that's deeply, like,

(17:01):
I would say, energetically oremotionally impactful for you, so
if we take it to your parenttelling you off, okay, and you. It's
deeply impactful, you feel alot of shame or guilt around that
or maybe fear even. And so,like, you know, hurt. Right. All

(17:26):
the emotions come into playwhen we're in inexperience like that
when we're a child. And sowhat happens in that moment is that
you're experiencing a reallystrong emotional problem. So your
body remembers that as a fearresponse. So that next time something

(17:49):
like this happens, your bodywill go, oh, that's right. I don't
want that to happen again. Andit will go into protection mode.
So the other thing thathappens is that we have a thought
in that moment, and thatthought then creates a belief that
we have and that we carrythrough our lives into our adulthood.

(18:10):
And it's just a thought or abelief that a child's mind has created.
Right. So it could be, youknow, something that a lot of us
have is, I'm not worthy, okay?Or I'm not good, or I'm not smart,
okay. There are some of thethree main beliefs that cause problems

(18:33):
for us as adults. So thischild's mind has created this belief,
and then we carry that throughour lives. So that's.
Yeah, I mean, there's sometools and some techniques that we
can use. I'm familiar with NLPand hypnotherapy and Reiki. How can
those kind of tools like thatplay into helping us as adults or

(18:56):
as children to be able torelease some of that anxiety, some
of those incidences, so thatthey don't carry them forward in
the ones as adults, we cankind of finally let them go.
Yeah. So when we have thosetriggers, it's important to recognize
what the triggers are. So inthat scenario, the trigger might

(19:20):
be someone telling you off orsomeone talking down to you, being
condescending, or evensomeone's tone of voice can set you
off and trigger you intofeeling some sort of fear response.
Right. And of course, the fearresponse is fight, flight, freeze,
or fawn. So we can go into anyof those defensive modes. So recognizing

(19:45):
the trigger is reallyimportant. Right. So then you could
go, oh, okay, I need. This iswhere I'm being emotionally triggered.
This is where the problem is.So let's work on that. So I have
found, studying the EMPRmethod, the Emotional Memory Pattern
release method, reallypowerful for helping to release trauma.

(20:08):
So what we do is we access thememory, that root cause of the problem,
and then we allow that energyor. Right. We're guiding or coaxing
that individual to release theenergy, and we're talking them through
it. Right. So they'll be stuckin thoughts and beliefs that keep

(20:32):
them stuck as well. So it's abit of a blend of, you know, the
cognitive work of talking themthrough, like what they're stuck
on, and then having thatsomatic emotional release, letting
go of that energy from theirbody as well. So we're shifting both
the energy and the thought andthe belief at the same time.
So basically, I mean, fromwhat I'm understanding from this

(20:54):
is that energy has the abilityto affect us both emotionally as
well as physically. And, youknow, it'll affect our mind, our
body, and our soul. And thatthere's ways that we can balance
them in order to kind ofeither rid ourselves of negative
energy or. And replace it withpositive energy. Correct.

(21:18):
Yeah, yeah. You know that fromdoing. Yeah, NLP and hypnosis. That's
what. That's the work that wedo. So I have this really great process
that people can use at homethat I love to teach people that
you can start doing this workon your own. Of course, it's easier
when you're with a therapist, but you can do this work on your

(21:39):
own. At home. And I reallyencourage people to do that. And
it's called the Artfulprocess. And so it's just an acronym
that I came up with. So Astands for awareness. Awareness of
what's going on in your bodyand your mind. And R is for release,
to release that energeticcharge from the body. And T is for
transformation. Sotransforming, that is negative thoughts

(22:01):
from to positive thoughts. Andthen the full is fulfilling your
cup with all those things thatmake you feel good. All right? So
when we bring awareness to ourbody and our mind, we're using all
of our senses. So using oursight, our sound, our feeling, our
taste, our smell, and ourmind. Because our mind is our brain,

(22:22):
is one of our big senses, right? Our logic and our reasoning.
So it's like sitting in quietand stillness and just bringing your
gaze inward, closing your eyesand just bringing your awareness
to what's happening insideyour body, in your energy, in your

(22:44):
energy field, and justnoticing, using your senses, what
is that sensation? What isthat pain that I'm feeling? And just
really bringing your consciousawareness to that energy, right?
Because it is, and it is apractice because we tend to avoid
our pain, right? It's naturalthat we avoid our pain. It's like

(23:07):
touching a hot stove. We'renot going to do that. That's painful.
So when we go to access ourpain in our body, we naturally want
to avoid it still. Even thoughwe might be going in to look for
it and release it, we're stillgoing to resist it and avoid it.
So it's. It is a practice. Andyou can, you can, you know, you can

(23:30):
do it. It just takes practice. So bringing your awareness to your
pain and just acknowledgingit, having a dialogue with it, you
know, it's like, what are youdoing there? What do you want me
to know? You know, are thereany, like, what does that energy
feel like? What is, you know, the colors or shapes or sounds? Like

(23:50):
using all of your senses, whatis the thought or belief I'm holding
there with that pain as well? And so when we dialogue with our
energy, you know, we can askquestions like having a conversation
with. With someone. What areyou. What are you doing there? What
do you want me to know? Whatdo you need? Like, how can I help

(24:12):
you? And when we do that, weare. That energy softens a little
bit and it releases its grip.Because our energy shows up for a
reason. Our emotion, ourenergy shows up for a reason. Just
like a child tugging at yourshirt, your energy wants your attention.

(24:34):
It's like that internaltugging at Our inside.
Hey, hello. I'm here and weneed to.
Yeah, yeah.
How does hypnotherapy playinto this? I mentioned you before
we started that I'm aninvestigative hypnotist and my oldest
daughter, I don't know when Isay my, of course, is my wife and

(24:57):
I's oldest daughter. She is ahypnotherapist. She has practiced
for quite some time, a numberof years. How does, how does hypnotherapy
or how can hypnotherapy helpsomebody to reach though and open
that door, that window, sothat that tugging at the shirt can
be answered.
So hypnotherapy is obviously areally simple yet powerful tool that

(25:22):
we can use to access theunconscious mind and have that discussion,
have that chat saying, youknow, like, I want to change this
in my life and I want you toget on board with that. Right. So
we've already went, before wego into hypnotherapy, we've already

(25:42):
made the decision that we wantto change. And this is just a tool
to help shift and move thateven further and deeper so that your
autonomic nervous system oryour unconscious mind is going to
help you. You. So it's sopowerful and it's, you know, it's

(26:03):
basically storytelling. It'slike the unconscious mind is like
our inner child, isn't it?It's just listening, it's just, you
know.
Yeah, yeah, it, you know, it'sinteresting what the mind can bring
about when you go through, youknow, when you're hypnotized and
when you go throughhypnotherapy and, or any kind of
hypnosis, how it allows you toget a deeper perspective into your
mind as the things that arekind of locked away that you can

(26:27):
understand how to release. Howdoes Reiki play into this? I know
that Reiki is balancingchakras, correct?
Yeah. So it's not alwaysbalancing chakras. Yeah, that is
a lot of the work that I do.But some Reiki therapists don't do
chakra work. They would justdo hands on healing. So wherever

(26:48):
they feel that the body needstheir hands to be. But I do work
on the chakras and balance theenergies. So it is basically an ancient
healing system. And what Ilove about just brings the person

(27:10):
back into a state ofrelaxation so quickly. You know,
it's like being held by aloving parent is what it feels like.
Right. And so it allows youreally quickly to calm your energy
down and just relax on thattable or wherever you Are you're

(27:32):
being held, you know, bysomeone's hands. So. And if you trust
that person, which, you know, hopefully you do, then you can calm
down really quickly and justallow yourself to be held. And when
you allow someone to touch youlike that, you're being really vulnerable,
right? So you're just allowingyour energy to really soften. Because

(27:55):
we go through life, you know, putting walls up and walls up and
walls up, and we come becomeharder and harder and harder. And
so when you allow someone tohold you like that, you're really
opening and softening, right. To allow energy to shift and release
out of you naturally, which iswhat happens when we open as opposed

(28:18):
to being closed. Right? And sowe're releasing, and then you're
also allowing yourself toreceive. To receive that beautiful
healing energy. And so that'sthe process of Reiki. I call it a
releasing and replenishing.
I can attest that it works. Imean, I've gone through Reiki sessions

(28:42):
as well as acupuncture andbalancing and chakra balancing all
of those. And from anindividual that has chronic pain
and an autoimmune disease myself.
I.
Always look forward to thosesessions, actually, because I know
that when I come out of it,it's gone. Because life gets complicated,

(29:04):
right? You have the bad days, you have good days, and sometimes
you just need to go in andrelax and refresh and reconnect.
And those kind of tools allowus to do that. So I appreciate people
like you that can do that. Many people turn to survival mechanisms

(29:25):
to avoid, like, addiction or,you know, any one of the unhealthy
patterns that they go through. We've all seen them. They have overeating
or eating badly for yourselfor not following through with exercise
or not doing what you'resupposed to do to kind of change
the patterns that you'rewithin. How can somebody understand

(29:49):
how to realize those throughsome of your modalities. Do you think
it'll. Because of what wesaid, what you were saying earlier
about these things that wekind of deep down inside ourselves,
how can we first start torecognize that we need to kind of
release all that stuff andcome to somebody like you?

(30:10):
Yeah. So when I teach peopleabout really basic emotion, the thing
that hits me about addictionand I teach people is that sadness
or hurt is what causes us toseek comfort. Right? Because sadness

(30:30):
has that energy of, I've beenhurt, I'm in pain, or I've lost something,
something's happened. And sosadness has this real heavy energy,
and it seeks rest and comfort, right? And so if we're not getting
those needs met, then wenaturally turn to those self soothing

(30:51):
mechanisms. And if we haven'tlearned how to self sooth, soothe
properly or you know, turn toother people to seek comfort, then
we naturally find those selfsoothing behaviors or addictions
like screens, right.Overeating, drugs, alcohol, whatever

(31:12):
it might be. Sex.
What role do you thinkintuition plays in personal transformation?
Do we need to listen to our. Iwholeheartedly believe that our bodies
can yell at us and our heartscan yell at us and our mind can yell
at us to say, hey, like youjust said, the tugging on the shirt.
But within ourselves, whatrole does intuition play in allowing

(31:37):
us to have personal transformation?
Yeah, it's huge, isn't it?Like really connecting deeply back
to yourself and turning withinso that you're paying attention to
those signs and symptoms thatare showing up for you. Because they're
showing up for you for areason, aren't they? Like you're
saying there's pain, you know, our thoughts, our emotions, our,

(32:02):
you know, our behavior, whatwe're playing out in the world, it's,
it just becomes obvious to, tous who have trained in it now. Right.
But to people going throughit, they're just really confused
and they don't understand. Sowhat I do, obviously what you do
is like help people to connectback to themselves inside so they

(32:23):
start to trust themselvesagain. And that is at the basis of
intuition, isn't it? It's likecoming back and really trusting what's
going on for you in your body, your mind and your spirit.
I mean I, I got lucky becauseI being trained as a law enforcement
officer, I believe my tuitionwas heightened and it saved me several

(32:45):
times. So I wholeheartedlybelieve intuition. And then I just
had to transfer that to my ownwell being. Not just on the job,
but I had to transfer it tolisten to my own body and say like
when I told you before aboutthe different drugs that they were
putting me on and what theywere doing to me, then you know,
my intuition was saying theseare not good, I need these out of

(33:06):
my system, please. Thank youvery much. And then I went and found,
found the person that helpedme to get, you know, go a different
pathway in regard to my ownpersonal healing both physically
and mentally. Earlier youmentioned something about. I made
a note, empr, the Emotionalmemory pattern release. I'm not that

(33:30):
familiar with that. Can youhelp me understand what.
It's new. Yeah, it's a newmodality. My teacher is from Adelaide
and she, yeah, she's about 4or 5 years old, maybe, something
like that, but reallypowerful. So it just works on, you

(33:51):
know, like the title suggests, emotion memory pattern release method.
So just accessing thoseemotions, the memories and the patterns,
and just seeing the patternsthat those emotions and memories
have created in our lives.Right. So it's very similar to nlp.

(34:12):
It just works at a. At adeeper level than that. So. Yeah,
like a blend of.
Linguistic programming, hypnotherapy kind of a thing.
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Yeah, that makes sense. Thatmakes sense. I just, I've not heard,
honestly, I've not heard thatbefore, so I thought I had to ask

(34:33):
because it's not somethingI've even had previous discussions
on the show about. And I'vetalked about Reiki and energy and
energy shifting and I mean, you name it, we've talked about it.
So, yeah, that's interesting. For listeners who feel stuck or disconnected
from themselves, what are. Canyou maybe share three actionable
steps they can take to begintheir healing journey?

(34:56):
Absolutely. So what I suggestis three M's. Meditation, mindset
and movement. So is thisfinding a balance in your life? So
meditation helps to focus andcalm our mind so we can start taking
back control of our mind andour feelings and our energy by training

(35:20):
our mind, our brain, which isreally powerful thing to do. It's
been my number one tool in mylife that's helped me get through
many things. And it's also. Sowhat it does is number one, it helps
to like train our mind, right. So that we're not falling into our
thoughts and our feelings. Webecome the observer. And also. So

(35:44):
that's one part of meditation. The other part, it allows us to connect
really deeply to our spirit, which is, you know, really beautiful
and fun part of meditation aswell. Like, you know, it's a journey
to go inwards. Right. Life is.Is not just all about the external
world and what's going on.There is a whole other world going

(36:07):
on in here. And it. And it'sreally exciting and fascinating and
I love it. This can be sobeautiful. So much to explore out
there in the world, in, in ourinner world.
I, I agree with that. And I,you know, meditation, if I, if I
just interject real quickly. Ilove meditation. Meditation has helped

(36:31):
me through my pain, helped methrough my surgeries. Meditation
has helped me on a dailybasis. My wife and I practice it.
Our kids practice it. It's oneof those things that, you know, even
if you meditate, if you'rehaving a rough day, you know, Even
if you meditate, take themoment, breathe, like you just said,
kind of enjoy your inner selffor a minute or two, you know, it

(36:53):
will actually refresh you, youknow, once you. Once you get to a
point where you can just takeyour time, breathe, meditate for
two or three minutes, relax.Yeah, it does wonders for me. I love
it.
Yeah, it's amazing, isn't it?It's so simple and so powerful. So
I love that. You know, evenprimary schools are bringing in meditation

(37:15):
now. Like, it's just sobeautiful to see.
New instead of. It's just it.I think that it, it brings us closer
as a family together. Youcan't see my hands moving around.
Sorry, I. It's the Italian. Ikeep talking and swinging around
everywhere. See, if you spokeItalian, you. You wouldn't be able

(37:39):
to understand me because myhands weren't up here. How does energy
play a role in emotionalhealing? And I know that it can impact
us emotionally as well asphysically, but it can also impact
us emotionally. How can werecognize that the. We have negative
energy that we need to have removed?

(38:02):
Yeah. So again, it comes backto our senses in the body. And recognizing
what's going on in our body, Ialways bring it back to the body
first rather than thethoughts. Because sometimes, you
know, thinking ourselvesthrough a situation, especially if
we've got anxiety, we've beentrying that way and it just hasn't

(38:23):
helped. So sometimes we can'tthink our way out of a situation.
We need to come back to the.The wisdom of our body and what our
body is telling us. Solistening to those signs and symptoms,
becoming aware of what thatenergy is that you're feeling, even
if it's just, you know, oh,I'm feeling heavy today. Right. Or

(38:44):
I'm feeling flat or I'm. OrI'm in pain. Like, just recognizing
those basic things, you know, there's more subtle, like, energies
that you can notice and morewords that you can use to describe
your energy. But even thosethings, right, like heavy, flat or

(39:06):
painful. Right. Just noticingwhen you're feeling like that and
then, yeah, allowing yourselfsome time to really sit with that
energy. And, you know, likeyou said, use your intuition. Use
that, you know, that innatewisdom that we have inside of us

(39:29):
and listening, reallylistening to what our body is telling
us because there's somethingmore going on than just pain or just
heaviness or just flatness.Like there is something in our lives
that's causing us to feel thatpain or that heaviness.
Yeah, I love, I love thatwisdom. With our wisdom our body

(39:53):
gives us. That's. I like that.That's a. I'm gonna, I'm gonna put
that a sticker on my computer. So I keep looking at that wisdom
in my body.
It's, you know, our bodies areso ancient and that what a magnificent,
like what a magnificentcomplex creature we are, you know,
like it has so much morewisdom than we give it credit for

(40:15):
and we, we tend to lookoutward for our answers, you know,
like to the Internet, to likeour teachers, to our parents, you
know, our friends. And we putall of our faith in the outside world
rather than on our internalworld. But there is so much wisdom
in this body. It is magnificent.
Yeah, I agree with that. Thankyou for that. Thank you for that.

(40:38):
Um, I know that you've got.For the people to come on their own
spiritual journeys or to gethealing and, and with Ricky and with
many other things and a coupleof free things can tell everybody
how they can reach you andwhat you have to offer, please.
Yeah, absolutely. So you canreach me on my website, Tony's healingroom.com.

(40:59):
that is the best place thathas all the information and all the
free offerings. So, yeah, Ihave an emotional freedom workshop
that I run every few weeks andthat is a really coming back to basics
workshop about emotions. Soyou know, learning about emotions
for the first time and whatlike I've been saying about why that

(41:21):
energy is showing up for youand what emotions actually do for
us, you know, anger, fear, sadness. So just go into a bit of.
Bit more explanation aboutthat emotion, that energy and how
it shows up and how it affectsus, us at how we can really start
to listen to that wisdom andyeah, have take action from those

(41:44):
places and then I take peoplethrough a bit of a process so they
can start to work with theirenergy and their body and release
that energetic charge andtransform those negative thoughts
themselves. So that's what wedo in that workshop. So it's really
powerful. Yes, it's free. You're welcome to join. So it's normally

(42:07):
around 6 or 7pm Adelaide time, which is Australian Central Standard
Time. So for you guys it wouldbe the day before in the late afternoon.

that. So beautiful.
Yeah, it's. Thank you. Yeah.We rely on our intuition more than.
More than what we telleverybody because it's our secret
weapon. We'll call it oursecret weapon. Batman's got the.
