(00:00):
For the week in review for July 14th through 20th.
Pretty nice a week that's a fun.Didn't exercise that much but
really had no energy at all a week or even the week before so
just trying to catch up and myself back on more schedule.
(00:27):
Only ran like 31 miles this week.
I was going to get some long runs in over the weekend I just
didn't do it so that put me behind my goal.
Only biked 10 miles this week. She didn't feel like riding any.
(00:48):
Should get outside and actually run some or bike some trails but
it happens. Did do the Johnstown Mill Rats
5K the inaugural one won that did get lost a little bit at the
end. Still had some time.
I have that Reeks recap up already so that was fun.
(01:11):
It was a good event, I enjoyed it, would do it again.
I like the course. Pretty much flat the whole time.
Body responded very well to the speed, so yeah, it was kind of a
shocker. And even the session I did in
(01:36):
the evening and then the next day on Sunday, both of those a
little bit faster than normal. Body seemed like it wanted to
take off, so maybe that's a goodsign.
Who knows? I had put down for Something
Fun, really didn't do anything fun per SE, but I did go to a
(01:59):
couple events which I'll get to here in a second, which were I
guess something fun, but it was actually going to go to the bull
riding up in Evansburg for my Something Fun for the week.
It was kind of scammy. They kept advertising $12.00
tickets but then when you go andtry to purchase them they were
(02:20):
like 32 plus fees so it just seemed kind of sketchy and
shady. So I just said to hell with
that. Plus I thought it was going to
be standing room only by the time I get there so wasn't going
to deal with that shit. Got the grass mowed so that was
good. It was getting a little high.
(02:42):
I went to the mill Rats game. They lost what, 2 to one the
champion city? I think that's what they're
called. I was going to go to the game
either way, but actually got a free ticket for participating in
the 5K in the morning, so didn'thave to spend money on a ticket.
(03:03):
So that was kind of nice. It was a good game.
I enjoyed it. Did get a podcast scheduled for
next week, so I'm excited about that.
Start those back out. Yeah, really put more effort
back into that again, just talking to people in general.
(03:26):
Did start to stump my yard and needed need to get rid of that.
It's been up there for two years, so it's finally starting
to get a little easier to axe and shuffle away at and whatnot.
Don't have the money to just go pay somebody to dig out a stump
for me and grind it up so I haveto do it myself.
(03:51):
They go see the Bolivar fireman's parade on Friday.
It's cool to see some of the newer, well not newer trucks I
guess, but different trucks fromdifferent areas.
This this year seemed like they had more trucks but smaller
crowd along the streets than normal.
(04:13):
I don't know why, maybe because it was just Friday night, but
hard to tell. Saturday night went to the old
traditional Bolivar fireworks actually standing or sitting on
the walkway around the park. The first couple went off and I
moved. Ended up moving back like 20
(04:36):
yards. Was just too close because all
over you can basically get so close you could look up in the
right above you going off. So it's definitely too close.
So I definitely had to move backfor that.
Other than that, not much else for the week.
(04:58):
Like I said, I slept a bunch trying to get my energy back
this week coming up plan to run a few different places.
Not sure if I'm going to race anywhere yet because the
forecast already is predicting both days of rain so I'm not
looking for forward to that at all.
(05:19):
See how that plays out because it's still 7 days so you know
how that goes. Voice hit or miss than that, who
knows.
