For the week in review for August 4th through 10th overall,
I want to say it was a good week.
That's really good training runs, had some fun, had some
good races. So I was excited about that, how
I recovered and felt over all ran.

What was it, 59 miles this week?So the third week in a row now
that I got 50 plus miles in. So that's huge.
I don't know when the last time I got 350 mile weeks and had to
be probably this time last year if not before that.
So I would say give it a year. So finally starting to feel

good. Not sure if it's because I'm not
biking as much as I'm healing now or just figuring some things
out in general. But I didn't bike it all this
week. Just didn't feel like jumping on
it. Just didn't have time.
Some of the other things that I was doing.
Still going to make that a priority here soon in the fall,

but the way things are going, don't want to screw things up.
So if I don't bike, I don't bike.
Did the Slickville 5K, finished second overall in that.
That was a hard race, Very fun. Hope to get back there next
year, do it again, try a little bit better, try to go for like a

sub nineteen time next year. No in the course.
So we'll see how that goes. That's always the hit or miss
thing. Ran the run for the Trail later
that day, finished second overall and that first masters.

The way they set it up this yearI was second overall but first
Masters instead of just being second overall.
Either way, felt surprisingly good.
Ran really good, way better thanI was expecting.
Probably about A at least a minute faster than I was
expecting if not 2 minutes. Really good race for me

performance wise and I'm even though I finished second and got
past like the last 10th, I really can't complain because
just the way I went, I'm very happy with that.
So that's a huge plus. So on the run side, awesome
week. On Friday night, even though I

got there a little late down at the Knotweed Festival in
Blairsville, the Clerks were playing like an acoustic set.
So I got to see them for like 45minutes out of there, like hour
and a half that they played. Wasn't the best Clerks concert
that I've heard, but it wasn't really set up for them to
succeed down. And it's such a small pavilion

amphitheater and then there was fireworks afterwards, so that
was pretty cool. So I stayed for those.
So that was pretty fun Friday night, I guess.
Did work on the stump a little bit this week.
So I would say it's about halfway done.
So we got halfway to go. It's always a pain, but always a
good workout. I did set up some trail cameras

for my dad to catch some animalsin his yard, see what's coming
around his yard. So tomorrow, whatever.
Next few days I'll go over and check memory cards and switch
them out. Didn't have no energy drinks
again for probably the at least two weeks if not 3 plus weeks

(03:45):
now. So I'm pretty sure it's three
plus weeks, starting to feel a little bit better, sleeping
better, recovering better. So it's one of those things I'm
figuring out that the energy drinks were just, you know, not
really giving me the energy but making me crash so much and not
recovering. So there's that.

Didn't clean the inside of my cars like I was hoping to, or at
least start on. So that's still a project that
needs done. And I didn't schedule any
podcasts, I just got to reach out to a few people this week
coming up and get that stuff done.
Overall, obviously is a good week.

(04:28):
This week coming up, it's a birthday week so see what I get
into. Work a lot this week.
Some weird shifts. It's going to throw me off a
little bit, but go do some more different routes and run some
different areas this coming week.
Hopefully have some fun this weekend.
I plan on doing like a gate to 8down at a higher pound of lower

(04:52):
Highlands at some point. Maybe get another longer run
here or there. Just get some more mileage and
build up base and see what else I can get into.
Looking forward to it because it's going to be a three day
weekend so hopefully some fun.
