This bucket hat is amazing. After looking for hours at orher potential bucket hats I found this one and glad I did. Its super lightweight and breathable. Keeps you head cool while whicking moisture away. Even had a slot for your sunglasses to slide into that keep them tight against you head, no matter how much you shake your head they won't fall out. What I like most is how easily adjustable it is. it quickly can be tightened or loosened to fit your head better. Even has a chin strap but you wont need that with how well it fits.

Sunday afternoons vapor light ultra light bucket head.
I've been testing these out for a couple weeks now.
I really like them. Started out with the one on top
of my head, figure it was a niceneutral color to go with.
Worked three or four runs, really liked it.
So then I bought the yellow one.Then I bought another one the
other day and some backups when I ruined the white one.

(00:36):
Still have a couple different options but these are very nice.
Definitely ultra light and a definitely moisture Wick the
sweat away from your head. I'll start off by saying one
real cool feature about these isthey got what they call the
sunglasses lock. As you see, the side of your

(00:58):
sunglasses goes in this little groove and it stays in place no
matter how much you shake your head.
So you don't have to worry aboutthem falling off off your head.
If you're out running or doing any kind of sport activity, you
know, fishing, hunting, well, you're probably not going to
wear this hunting, but you know,doing any kind of outdoor
activity, you don't have to worry about them falling off.

(01:21):
You know, if you look up in the sky, they're not falling off the
back of your head. So these really do keep your
sunglasses in place. Just going to take these off
real quick. All right, so this is the yellow
one, gives you a better contrastview here in the front.
You got a couple of reflective things here and then in the

(01:45):
back, so low light conditions, light hits it.
So if you're like say try running at night and a light
hits you if you're running alongthe road or something like that
at night, you know, that'll really shine bright.
Same with these in the front, especially if you're facing
traffic, which which you should be.

(02:05):
So give them a little bit of alert little flash in front of
you. That's a cool safety feature.
These side panels here are very breathable.
I give it my breathe test. When I when I look for something
that's breathable, I always stick my mouth up to it, breathe
through it and see how if any airflow goes through it.

(02:28):
I'll tell you what a lot of air flow goes through that.
So does keep your head cool and again also helps moisture Wick
any sweat that you have away. One thing is I noticed as I'm
sweating a lot doing longer runs, the brim will build up
with a nice sweat, get a little bit heavy and it starts dripping

(02:51):
off. But the way this is manufactured
and designed, at least for me, the way I wear it, the sweat
drips away from my face. So as you see here, as I'm
wearing it, it's dripping down and away.
So like even if you're wearing like a baseball hat, you know,
cuts off, say here sometimes it still runs down and gets the

(03:13):
sweat. Whereas this makes the sweat
disperse off to the sides away from your face.
So you're not worrying about as much sweat going down in your
face. It's got a nice little sweatband
inside. It's very light.
It's not heavy, it's not like cottony.

(03:34):
It does does absorb the moisturepretty good that there you see
your vapor light ultra light tagthere in the back.
This makes it adjustable so you can cinch it tighter.
So it's very nice to use, stays on your head as well, so you can

(03:56):
make it tighter or looser depending on, you know, how much
hair you have or the size of your head.
I really don't have hair. It's nice to keep it cinched and
it's also a feature. So if you're out like running or
whatever, you can loosen it if your head starts to swell or
whatever the case may be. As you'll see on this one,

(04:21):
you'll see the band is still on there.
I cut them off 2 of the three ofmine.
I just don't like the chin straps and this stays in place
since I cinch it in the back without the chin strap.
So I actually just eliminated that.
So that's a little pro tip. Just cut the strap if you don't
like the chin straps because look, as long as you got to

(04:45):
tighten the back, it's not goingto fly off.
It's not going to blow off as well.
If it's hat blows off, you must be in hurricane conditions If
you cinch it right and you don'thave to cinch it enough where
you're cutting the circulation on just a little pinch in the
back just so it's a little bit tight and it stays in.
So it is a little bit stretchy as well.

(05:06):
So that's pretty cool. Miss as the tag says is let me
see make sure I got it right upf50 plus, so there's a little
sunproof as well. See 100% recycled RIP stock
fabric PPFC free yeah fully crushable.

(05:32):
So take this one with all the tags.
So pretty much right there. If need be, I can fit in the
palm of my fist and I got some small hands.
So it's very packable in a waistbelt, waist pack or just in a
normal backpack. If you're taking this anywhere,
hiking or any outdoor activities, it's not going to

(05:54):
take up a lot of space and you're not going to notice it
weight wise as well. Again, this is one with the chin
strap adjustable. We'll just put it on for you.
So if you really like chin straps, well, this one might be

(06:14):
a little tight because I haven'tused it.
There you go your typical chin strap, nothing special about
that. So if you're one of those people
that maybe has hair and tucks itup in more power to me since I

(06:35):
don't have hair. That was another reason why I
cut the the chin strap because if I tuck it up in still feeling
top of my head so I don't like that and I also didn't remove
the inner tags they just RIP right off.
This is definitely my go to running hat for long runs.

(06:57):
There's sunny summer and spring days and even early fall days in
Pennsylvania where I live. This is going to be my go to
hat. Now, the reason why I got these
and I was looking for a really good bucket of hat to wear, it's
because I got tired of getting sunburnt.
You know, like baseball hats have that opening in the back

(07:18):
for like long hair, like ponytails or something like
that. I hate getting sunburned back
here, gives you headaches after a while.
So I was looking for a really good bucket hat or hat.
It was enclosed in the back and I found this and just being able
to keep the sun off my ears a little bit more and my neck.
So if you're doing like long summer races, whatever out West,

(07:41):
even desert type conditions or mountains, when the sun's going
to hit you a lot more than say, shady forest trail, this is a
really good hat for you. This is just going to keep the
sun away from your body, keep you cooler, allow you to run
longer, faster and more comfortable.

(08:03):
Plus bugs as well. It's going to keep some bugs
away because it's closed the whole way around and you're
going to actually have to dive bomb in and underneath you to
get to you. As I said, it's very breathable.
What's really nice about this aswell, I know I said about
moisture wicking. I dipped it in water a few times

(08:24):
and little creeks already, it doesn't really get that
dirtiness sometimes you get fromcreeks and it does around the
brim, since it is a little bit thicker, does hold the moisture
a little bit more. The top part does seem to dry
fairly quickly. So take that into consideration

(08:46):
that even though you just might have wetted this, it does stay a
little bit moist especially, youknow, even with the sweat
because it's pulling the moisture away.
But the brim holds pretty good moisture and it seems like it
keeps it cooler as well. Even on the summer days when I
was sweating a lot or we're justdipping water and say like 1520
minutes later, I noticed even I would touch the brim and the

(09:09):
sweat or water would still feel cool.
So then you can just, you know, brush on your face around your
neck a little bit. So it does seem like keeps your
sweat or the water a little bit cooler.
So if you need to use that, you know, just wipe your face some
salt off. That's a cool little feature
about that as well. Really not much to say about it,

(09:32):
but if you're looking for a bucket hat to use, this bucket
hat is definitely the way to go.The Sunday afternoons once you
try it, I'm I'm honestly going to say you're going to fall in
love with it more so than any other hat or bucket hat on the

market right now. I've looked at some other brands
and this has all the features. It fits you real nice and it
comes in two different sizes, I think.
Yeah, this one's the medium. There's a large as well.
There's five or six colors. There's yeah, the white safety

yellow. There's a red, a black, a blue,
and then there's some kind of like blue design 1.
So there's a couple options. She's just going to wash.
Sometimes when you're looking for these, they label them as
women's, but not sure on if you actually go to the Sunday

afternoon's website. These are unisex.
Just some websites have them as listed as women's but you can't
tell the difference and I would definitely say they're a unisex.
So again, you got the sunglasseslock.
It's very breathable, especiallywith those side pockets.
It's going to keep your head a lot cooler and breeze your it's

moisture waking. It stays in place and you can
actually cinch it down unlike most bucket hats.
And one last time fits in the palm of your hand even with
these small hands. So check it out and you will not
