(00:09):
Ultra Spire Stadio 4 point O waist belt product review I've
tested this for three or four weeks now.
I got it like 2 days after it got released.
I had it on pre-order and I'll tell you what I am absolutely in
love with this waist belt. The Four point O completely
blows away the three-point O, which if you watch my product

(00:32):
review for the three-point O, was hands down the best waist
belt I've used and this blows that away.
I don't know how they did it, but I'm so impressed with the
updated version. The new features that they've
added really help any runner that purchases this.
You're going to be able to go farther, longer, harder and

(00:56):
carry a lot more stuff and not notice it at all.
The weight distribution is amazing.
When I fill this up with both 20ounce bottles, I put a couple
gels back here, you know, some handy wipes and stuff like that,
and even have my phone in the front parking.
I don't notice it at all. I don't get any chafing.

(01:19):
It stays tight on me. There's no balance whatsoever.
You know when I'm really sweaty and hot?
Even the other day when it was raining out I got wet and the
downpour. This stayed tight to my body and
did not balance whatsoever. If you know the system but just

(01:40):
start with the bottles itself. Operate in, operate out.
They did update this a little bit this year so it makes it
easier to get in and out. It might seem like a little bit
harder when I'm using my hands but when it's actually all my

(02:00):
around my waist it's a little bit easier.
It comes with the 220 oz weight bottles but don't mean you know,
like my accessories. I use my green ones that I've
had from previous years. They fit the same.
So you have 3.0 waste waste beltbottles if you buy the

(02:25):
aftermarket, not the aftermarket, but you provide the
ultra spotter ones off the website, like extra ones.
They fit in there. It's the same size, same design,
same caps and everything. So which is really nice if
you're doing a long race. You bought the three-point O and
you got the four point O. Now you have two extra models
that you can switch in and out at the 8 stations with your

(02:47):
crew. This year they got that little
bit better super pocket attachment.
This thing stays in place. It doesn't bounce around at all
open a waste pack this pocket here it's a four way mesh.

(03:09):
You can actually fit a little light rain jacket in there.
But if you saw my Sunday afternoons Buckethead, this will
fit in there and there'll still be some extra room for you.
What's nice is you can pretty much, you know, pack a whole
sandwich or more in this pocket.I actually think you could fit a

(03:32):
whole normal peanut butter and Jelly sandwich in there if you
needed to, if you wanted to. And there would still actually
be plenty of room. So if you have a light like a
headlamp, this will stay in there.
And guess what? It stays tight the way this mesh
is designed since it's like a stretchy mess to stay tight to

(03:53):
your body, which is really awesome and useful during races.
This year they also added two side pockets so that go around
your waist. Last year they didn't have that.
It was more just a strap feature.
And same way with these pockets,it's about the stretching mesh.

(04:15):
So things stay tight against you.
See if I still got jails. I think I've got the jails.
So got a honey Stinger and a wetwipe.
You still actually got more roomas well if you need to.

(04:38):
So you could probably put 3 to 4gels in each side if you really
needed to or if you got one of those like new tablet tubes
that'll fit in there. So like for instance, if you
want to do 1 like caffeinated, one non caffeinated, you need to

(05:00):
be able to do that. As you see, both have zipper
pockets. Another new feature this year is
their front. I guess what they call this the
kangaroo pouch because they added these little had gold
things right here. So I'd show you my phone, but

(05:21):
that's what I'm videoing off of.But it keeps your phone more
secure from bouncing around as Iwould in the past.
Or if you just want to put it again, let me grab that again
once you put a gel or something in there and it's on your way

(05:42):
around your waist, not going to bounce around.
So that's a pretty cool feature for this year as well.
Ken, if you want to pull this out a little bit, you can't.
I think down the road they're going to make an attachment for
this for your waste lamp if you buy it off of them.

(06:03):
You see this, right? So you got your typical straps
for your pools here. Should have brought my pools
down to show you, but I didn't. But you got your typical Z pool

(06:24):
there. And what's nice is this year
they tuck in each side so they're out of the way.
You're not getting snagged on anything.
And the material this year, theyalso upgraded this because I
broke the straps the bungee lastyear and I had to replace it

(06:47):
myself. So they upgraded that as well.
And then we see sounded everything set up for me
already. Material this year is definitely
a lot more upgraded. It's a little rougher on the
outside here. So it does stay in place when

(07:09):
you tighten it, which is really cool.
And then the end has that as well.
But the material this year seemsa little bit more rigid, so it
stays in place because I know before once you got a little bit
sweaty or wet, whatever the casemay be, it did become a little
bit more loose. But it doesn't anymore,

(07:30):
especially with the tuck in feature.
I guess I can leave it on for now.
I better know I'm going to tuck it back in.
So I'm not aware. I guess I can hear so I'm going
to tuck it back in so it's againout of the way where's before it

(07:54):
would be in your way so you can interchange this again with the
front see with your ultra Spire waste lamp front if you want to.
I'm pretty sure they're going toupgrade this accessory as well

(08:18):
in the coming weeks or months. If not, it's still
interchangeable if you need to. Just the strap might come a
little bit loose on that one, but whatever.
It's got your typical ultra Spire hook.
It goes there so it stays in place and as you see, it's got

(08:47):
fabric behind it, so it's not digging into your waist as it
has in the past and this year I believe it's what 20 waist to 40
waist something Yeah, it's at least 28.
It's definitely a little bit tighter this year, like an inch
tighter. That was the issue that I had

(09:10):
from three-point O it wasn't or couldn't get as tight as it as I
needed because I really have a small waist.
I wear like a 29 size waist pants.
So it was just A and tad loose on me.
So this year they did make it like a 28.

(09:32):
So it does get a little bit tighter and cinches tight with
your body the previous year. So if you're one of those people
like me, they have a smaller waist.
It's a huge improvement. So stand up here real quick.
Get off. Well, there you go.

(10:05):
So the way it sits on your stomach in your back, does it
see here? I don't know if you can see it
pretty good, but I see. Does it send you down?
Like I literally have to try andhear my voice trying to like
move it. So it gives any kind of

(10:25):
movement. So I'm bouncing around them.
You notice there's no movement. So if you cinch it down
properly, it does stay on your waist.
It hugs your waist. You see the bottles, if you
cinch it down properly, they're not getting any kind of

(10:46):
movement. So even if I'm bending at the
knees, there's there's no movement whatsoever.
So watch this. So all you really do is go back
a little bit and out and in thisone handed and in these are the

(11:14):
side pouches so directly on yourside again, both sides, which is
perfect. So you know if you have like a
hydration pack, you always got to like reach up here.

(11:36):
This is actually more ergonomical get some gels easier
and other waist belts. You know you have to reach
around your back and get a couple gels real quick or handy
white. So this is very more well, very
more accessible than other wastepacks.

(11:57):
Again, as you see here in the front.
Put a couple, let me grab a couple things here real quick
show you see that I just put stuff in there.
It's not bouncing around. So that's pretty cool.
And then reach around the back, see how easy that is to get into

(12:24):
the. So the four point O is
definitely a huge upgrade from three-point O.
Here's my bead up 3 point O. As you see, 3 point O actually

(12:49):
had to tape it so it stayed in place and tight.
Actually, I had to replace the Zpole holders because the
material that they used just ripped pretty easily and it
didn't have the side pockets. So it was just a waste of space
and it didn't have that kangaroopouch.

(13:11):
So definitely a huge upgrade forany trail runner or Roadrunner
or anybody doing any kind of outdoor activities that's
looking for a really good waist belt.
I think this is like 95 bucks. The price point is very
reasonable. It's not expensive at all for

(13:32):
any type of waist mode or good product.
And the material itself is high quality.
Even on the inside here, it looks a little messy and you
know, if you're just going to rub your fingers on it, it feels
maybe a little bit rough, but when it's actually against your
skin doesn't chief, whether you're wearing a shirt or not,

(13:55):
material does not rub against you and actually, you know, I
think actually helps keep it in place a lot better and there's
not a lot of stitching, so you don't have to worry about that
revenue as well. So overall, very huge
improvements from the three-point O that I noticed
being a trail runner and Roadrunner, especially on those

(14:19):
hard technical trails. I really hate movement and I
really love accessibility. And this by far excels in
anything that you can expect andjust again blows away the
three-point O. And that's kind of hard to

(14:41):
believe if you tried the three-point O.
One other feature, let me see where they're at all here.
I almost forgot this because this is like a little hidden
what I call the emergency pouch. So you got your normal as you
see here, kangaroo pocket put onthe bottles themselves.

(15:04):
There's a very tight pocket. See here Yeah.
See this little grippy thing here?
This is where I personally stashmy handy wipes or wet wipes,
whatever you want to call them. I put them in there.
It's a perfect spot for a gel ortwo as well.

(15:27):
You actually fit another gel or two in there on each side.
So if you're a gel person, you fit what, 24?
I would say 6-8 if need be or anything, you know, 6 or 8 gel
sizes and that's not even including the middle.

(15:49):
So you can really carry a lot offuel with you.
I think you know, even if you'relike a Honey Stinger person, you
can fold it in half and fit in here.
You know, your typical size protein bars will fit in the
sides. Just this pocket right here is a
little bit tighter. So you got to stick with
something like you're like a gelor a wet wipe stick in there.

(16:17):
Going to have something a littlebit thinner.
But either way, really impressedwith this and I've tested it on
road and trail and hard technical trail.
So I'm all going to say something that I don't believe

(16:38):
is true and I truly believe thiswill be your go to for any race
that you don't need to. Well you can carry a ton in
this, but say if you have like 8stations, you know, 1015 miles
apart, this is all you would need.
All your supplies would be in there.

(16:59):
Like I said, you could throw a jacket in there, another hat,
some gloves. You have plenty of room
leftover. So this is like my 50 KA 100K
type waste belt. So if 100 mile or conditions and
stuff could change, probably wear, you know, waste pack
instead of a belt. But that depending depends on

(17:22):
how far apart the aid stations are.
So that's something to consider. But I'm wearing this on a
typical 20 mile run has all my supplies that I need and plenty
of space leftover. So you know, being a solar 20
mile run, this is way more capacity than you actually would

(17:46):
ever really need to use, but comes in handy if you do need to
use it.
