Johanna Dahlman is the CEO and founder of Alopecia Angel, an organization dedicated to helping individuals reverse hair loss through a holistic and bio-individual approach. Her work is deeply rooted in her personal four-year battle with alopecia areata, which she was diagnosed with in her early thirties.
Dahlman’s journey began during a period of significant life transition, as she was moving to the Netherlands with her now-husband, a professional basketball player. This move left her in a state of "limbo" without health insurance in either the U.S. or Europe, forcing her to pay for all medical consultations out-of-pocket. Frustrated by the conventional medical system, which offered pharmaceutical solutions with potential side effects on fertility, Dahlman leveraged her background in tech at Apple to forge a "third door" path to healing.
