Born in Oakland, CA, Jerome Gagnon received a Masters in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and lives and works in Northern California. A former teacher and tutor, he’s the author of the collections Spell of the Ordinary, Rumors of Wisdom, and most recently, Refuge for Cranes from Wildhouse Publishing. Winner of the Louis Award and the Robert Frost Foundation Poetry Award, his writing has appeared in Poet Lore, Spiritus, The Healing Muse, California Quarterly, Modern Haiku, and many other journals.
