Speaker 1 (00:02):
Coming up on today's show, Katia Milan and Ashton Wood
are the latest members of the Tortured Influencers Department. Sammy
Guggenheimer sparks relationship rumors, Emmy Lou's mistaken identity, and the
Influencer breakup we all saw coming. Hello and welcome to Outspoken.
It's your dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture
(00:23):
news twice a week. I'm Kate Torbert and so if
it's you and I again, I don't know how you're
doing it. It is your wedding week and you have
just been slogging it out. Yeah, it has been an awful,
awful week. I don't know if this is how most
brides feel. The stress is just getting to me. We've
had some very stressful family stuff going on. Also, the
(00:43):
weather forecast is saying forty degrees for Saturday, so I
mean again, I didn't want it to rain, so it's
definitely better than rain. But it's a little bit disappointing
that we are having a heat wave in March.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
On my wedding weekend.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I nearly fainted when I looked at the bomb app
the other day, I refresh it and it popped up
saying it was thirty nine degrees at that point, and
we had a feeling it was going to be quite hot.
But we were deluding ourselves thinking that it might start
going down, but it only keeps going up. Yeah, the
start of the week it said thirty five, and then
I thought, oh, surely by the weekend it'll have dropped
(01:16):
a few, but no, it has gone up a few.
We are getting married in Lobethal, so we're hoping it
might be a little bit cooler up there. Yeah, it
definitely will be a bit cooler. And your ceremony is
at five pm, so by then we're hoping the sun
is starting to not be as I think all the
listeners know by now that I've got two bridesmen in
(01:37):
the bridal party, and originally I practiced having them walk
out by themselves, and it's quite a long walk now
because we have repositioned these and it's kind of awkward
as well because we've at least got bunches of flowers,
whereas they don't really.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Know what to do with their hands.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yeah, so we've made well, I have made the executive
decision after looking on TikTok that my two bridesmen are
going to be known as the sprite Boys, all the
Lemonade Boys, because it's going to be such a hot day.
I've seen that they have beer boys, and my partner
his favorite drink is lemonade, so we thought it'd be
quite funny to take the piece out of the fact
that it's boiling hot and have them coming down the
(02:12):
aisle handing out sprites.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I love it. I hope they bring one up to
me at the front.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah, I think I will definitely need one as well.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
I was wondering, Sophie.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
I noticed this week that el McPherson has been posing
in photos with a lot of influencers at Melbourne Fashion Week,
and I'm wondering if you're going to take any note
from her posers, because for those who haven't seen it,
so Olivia Rodgers posted about it, so did Emmy Lou
and also Tally Smythe So they walk up to her
and it was really awkward because in each instance you
(02:40):
can tell that they're really star struck by her, because
this is at this meet and greet where they've got,
you know, professional lighting and a camera set up. But yeah,
it's obvious that she's been told she has to be
part of this. Yeah, And in the video Olivia Rodgers sheet,
she went to put an arm around el McPherson's waist,
but then she kind of repositioned it. I watched it
in slow makes saved and I put it. And what
(03:01):
Elle actually did was she grabbed Olivia's hand and brought
it forward to force Olivia in front of.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
That's what I'm saying positioned it.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
It was so awkward though, the way she grabbed it was,
and because Elle has realized that if you're standing back
from someone, you're the smaller person, which is what models
I suppose. I mean, they know their angles. But I'm
hoping that you're not going to be pushing me out
if anyone. If anyone pushes me for it at my leading,
that will be I haven't even had time to consider
(03:31):
because before, like weeks before, it's like, oh, I better
think about how I'm going to pose in photos. Haven't
even thought of that. I like the more nonchalant photos anyway,
and I think that your photographer favors those two. I'm
just the most awkward person. I don't know if any
other brides who have recently got married have felt this,
but like I just don't know how to pose individuals
that they will tell you like a good photographer will
tell you, and you kind of get into this mindset
(03:55):
where you're performing the role of a bride, like I
thought it would be really awkward, and it is, but
you end up just being like, yep, I just want
to get the photos done quickly so I can go
and enjoy it. Yeah, if anyone has had their wedding
in forty degrees and they have any tips on how
to say maybe positive and also any tips for flowers
or how to keep guests cool, let me know. I
don't have much time, it's like twenty four hours, but
(04:16):
I'd appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Support your favorite influence.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Katia Milan and Ashton Wood are the latest members of
the Tortured Influencers Department. On their podcast Common Chaos, they
complain that they're not coping with the evolving influencer industry
and urge their followers to support them now. Firstly, Kate,
who are Katia and Ashton Well? Cartia Milan is an
og Australian influencer and she's been living in London for
(04:45):
the last year or so and she's been an influencer
since she was fifteen. So she gained a following after
going viral for her festival looks. That was eleven years ago.
Now she is twenty six and she has half a
million followers on Instagram, one hundred and fifty seven one
thousand on TikTok, and she's also nearly cracked the half
a million mark on YouTube. As for Ashton, she gained
(05:06):
notoriety after appearing in Katia's YouTube videos, so she became
a full time influencer in twenty eighteen and she has
four hundred and sixty five thousand followers on Instagram, forty
nine thousand on TikTok, and one hundred and thirty five
thousand on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Now.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Alongside their influencing careers, the pair also hosts a podcast,
as you mentioned, Sophie, called common Chaos. Now. They seem
to have a big problem with the current state of
the influencing landscape. So Katier and Ashton believe that the
influencer industry is at a crossroad where longtime influencers are
being forced to decide whether they should return to traditional employment.
(05:44):
So Krti has shared that her and her friends are
feeling anxious and depressed about their future because the industry
is now so saturated.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
She then said this, it is getting so saturated.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
It makes me want to cry because I guess back
in the day, like there was not as many people
like when we started. We're kind of you know, like
you get that special feeling you're like, yeah, okay, I'm
doing something different. Not many people are doing it, and
now it's like boom, everyone's doing it. So it'd be
like in your workplace if you're all fighting for this
job like promotion. Yeah, job promotion, but you're up against
(06:20):
fifty thousand sorry, probably more than that.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
You're against like thousands of people for this spot.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
It seems to me like Cartier wants it to go
back to twenty sixteen, when influencers could just rely on
being hot and not have to put any effort into
their content. I also love that she's trying to explain
for the poor people at home that those of us
who have normal jobs that you know, that's like your
workplace being very competitive. That's the real world, no matter
(06:48):
what industry you're in. Well, when I started out in journalism,
it was like you won the lotto if you've got
a job at a network, even when you've done the degree,
done a master's worked for years, like that's just how
the world works. I'm afraid. Yeah, Well, they seem very
intent on letting their audience know what a grind the
job of an influencer is. So Katia said, all we.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Do is work, work, work.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
There's so much that you guys don't see. They also
complained about the working conditions they faced, including the stress
of trying to book jobs, trying to get paid, and
keeping up with the trends of different social media platforms.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Now.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
They also mentioned that apparently it can take up to
six months to get paid by a brand. Let's throw
to more of what they said.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
But it's a job.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
It is.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I think people forget it is literally a job.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
And it's more just the pressure that comes with it
because there's not only in your city or country. It's
like global, like there's influences everywhere and everyone can work
with those brands. So it's like there's only a limited
amount of you know, dollars dedicated to marketing, which obviously
is a lot.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
People don't see that pressure of Okay, in a normal job,
you have a salary or at least you know what
you're getting paid a week or I don't know how
normal jobs were not sound like an ups to idiot,
But I started this thing when I was literally fifteen,
so I can.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Tell brace me, yeah, grace me if you have a salary,
or if you're a casual or how does adult life work.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
I've been living like a child.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Now. In terms of the advertising budgets that Ashton reference, yes,
there are a lot more influences, but the budgets have
completely changed since back in the days.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
So in twenty.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Twenty three, the global influencer marketing spend reached thirty four
billion dollars. So I find it funny that they're crying poor,
saying that there's not enough money to go around. It's like, actually,
your issue is that you don't want to be competing
with people that are putting in more of an effort.
I don't want to be one of those people who
are so naive and saying, oh, what are they doing?
(08:46):
They actually it is a genuine job. And as they're saying,
it's so much more competitive now, you can't just take
a hot photo of yourself, slap that up and expect
to get peak engagement. You've actually got to be creative.
And that's why I think that this job is actually
becoming more for content creators than people who people actually
like and relate to, or but that have marketing skills.
And you're totally right, Sophie. It is a job. But
(09:09):
when you compare it to a traditional job like a teacher,
childcare worker, doctor, nurse, the job of an influencer is
so cushy. You get flexibility, you get freebies, you get
paid to go on overseas trips. It is so tone
deaf and out of touch on your podcast winging about
how hard it is, I mean, put into perspective. A
couple of days before this podcast went to air, Cartier
(09:31):
filmed herself traveling first class back from Australia to London
and played the glamorous song Yeah, I mean, I can
see why they're upset, though. Can you imagine at the
age of fifteen having this job, as Cartier said, she
doesn't know any different, and then the rug being pulled
out from under you, because this will be a huge fall.
If she's acting like this is some sort of systematic
(09:53):
problem within the influence as well, this is going to
be a huge fall for those people. They will have
to enter their first real jobs at the age of
twenty five or their late twenties. Yes, this is kind
of like the child stars who made it big back
in the day on film sets and then suddenly we're
working as checkout chicks. Like It's going to be so
(10:13):
interesting to see how many influencers actually do go back
to regular work. I remember a couple of years ago
Michael Finch actually had a stint working at a pottery place,
but his was more that he actually wanted to go
and do full time work because he was bored. Well,
I think that we're also going to see which influences
were smart with their money and which had financial advice
(10:35):
early on, because there's a lot of them who've pissed
it away now. Katier and Ashton also complained about having
their worth and livelihoods dictated by a social media algorithm
that they can't control. So they said that the social
media companies are getting greedy and penalizing older accounts in
favor of newer ones to make more money and get
(10:56):
people to pay for ads. Here's what Cartier said.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I posted the fucking hottest selfies last night, pup. I
was like, no, no, I'm saving this for like a moment.
I hate that and then it was like flop and
I was like, okay, well.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Again, it just like, oh, I can't rest on my
laurels of just posting hot selfies. And the whole thing
about not being able to control the algorithm isn't true
because it just seems like these two can't be bothered
to actually study it or put in the effort that's required.
Because a lot of new content creators are out there,
they're putting in the hustle, they're creating content. So on TikTok,
(11:34):
I've seen so many videos talking about the algorithm and
saying you literally need to post at least three times
a day. I just think that they don't want to
do it, but also don't they have new TikTok accounts
because everyone's TikTok account is relatively new, it's a new platform.
It was quite funny because Ashen made this comment saying,
I think it's good we're talking about it because people
can probably notice us not slacking off, but being less
(11:57):
active and our passion not showing through. I always get
where's your YouTube videos? It's just so much work. So again,
that really spelled it out to me. They don't seem
like they want to put in the work. They also
said in this podcast that they're starting to feel irrelevant
and no longer special. There seems to be a big
blow to their ego that they're having to fight with
other influencers for jobs, and they did use this segment
(12:19):
as an opportunity to urge their followers to engage with
their content and support influencers.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Who have helped them.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
I don't like it when content creators ask people to
engage in their content. It's like, how about you create
content that I want to engage in. Cartia also admitted
that she's at the point where she doesn't know how
much longer she can do it anymore.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Let's write a more of what she said.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Well, you said it perfectly before.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
When we're in the car, you're like, I don't I
feel like there's no space for me right now, Like
I don't really know. Like you kind of start to
be like what is my niche what am I bringing
to the table or online? Like I don't under like
what am I giving my audience? Like is my audience
even do they even care about what I'm posting anymore?
Especially if you're not getting good engagement. It's very detern Yeah,
(13:06):
makes you just feel really.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Shit because you irrelevant. Irrelevant.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Remember we literally have had so many moments or actionalize it.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
And we go we are so irrelevant, like we're washed up.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
It's not nice to hear anyone speaking about feeling irrelevant
and not worthy in all of those sorts of things.
I just think it is a bit concerning that there
haven't been any conversations before this about the longevity of
their careers, because surely they didn't think that they could share,
you know, slap together makeup tutorials or talking about their
early twenties forever. Also, in every career, you have to
(13:41):
evolve and improve yourself, so I mean I found it
funny that they were complaining about having to keep up
with the different platforms. I mean, most people are like
I listened to a interesting segment on Mum and Mire
the other day where they were talking about whatever job
that you're actually in, you have to self promote. So
they're not the only people that are having to keep
up with their platforms. I mean, you would assume that
(14:03):
it is your top priority to be keeping up with
the platforms when your sole job is influencing we have
to issue a couple alert on Sammy Guggenheimer and Olivia
Rodgers ex Morgan Waterhouse. So Sammy got everyone talking this
week at Melbourne Fashion Week when she randomly posted a
(14:23):
photo of Morgan sitting front row at a runway show
with no context, so she's not in the photo. It's
like she's snapped it, kind of a bit of like
a fan photo. She ended up tagging him and he
reshared it, and then later on he also shared it
as a part of a photo dump from the event.
Do you think that this is a sign that there's
something going on between them? Well, why else would she
(14:46):
share a photo of him like it's almost like this
soft launch thing. She actually looks a lot like Olivia.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
She is absolutely stunning.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
She's gorgeous. A lot younger than Morgan though, so I
think there's about a ten year age difference. And she
was previously dating an AFL footballer, so.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Maybe she's moved on to model.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Who knows. I mean, the eck is still developing for
me with Morgan. He has recently got a new pierced
ear and he's got this little hoop earring in it.
I'm not a fan, but it's nice that he's moving on.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I suppose.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Yeah, I get an ick from it, also because he's
moving on, you know, potentially with another influence, but also
a lookerlike influence.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Yeah, because I always.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Got the vibe that he was, you know, I mean,
obviously who wouldn't want to date Olivia Rodgers but almost
using her in a sense for a bit of a profile.
And the fact that he's now moved on with Sammy Guggenheimer,
who is probably bigger than Olivia Rodgers in terms of
her following on TikTok. I did see that Morgan was
at that PayPal event, the same one that Olivia was out.
(15:49):
He was there the night before though, Oh okay, because
I was going to say that would be pretty awkward,
especially if you are, you know, soft launching a new relationship.
Remember Morgan and Olivia's relationship was big news at Melbourne
Fashion Week last year. There are so many iconic photos
of them walking in and you know, Paul Forsarci styling them.
Maybe this is all orchestrated from Morgan trying to get
(16:11):
a bit more attention.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Good morning, it is Saturday morning. Sports drop off Days,
Unlovely Day.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Divisive influencer emmylu McCarthy has been invited aboard Virgin Voyages
for a free trip. Now it's not clear if she
is being paid or if the trip is gifted, as
when she started sharing about it, she simply put the
hashtag invited.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
And this is a.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Trend cake that I'm seeing a lot now with influencers. Yeah,
it seems like they don't want to put gifted. They
somehow feel like invited more represents what's going on. I
think invited works when you're clearly at a PR event,
so you probably haven't been paid to go, but you
might get a goodie bag and some food. It makes
(16:57):
sense because it's difficult to put a price point on
going to an event like this. But when it's a
ticket will two tickets a board a cruise, I think
that gifted is more appropriate. Yeah, because I saw a
lot of influencers who were invited to the eras tour
putting invited, and I'm like, when the tickets are worth
probably a thousand dollars, I think you need to put gifted. Yeah,
I totally agree. Now. Emmy Lou arrived for day one
(17:21):
of this cruise very on theme. She was wearing a
bright red T shirt and a matching bright red cap. Now, these,
of course, happened to be Virgin's iconic branding colors, and
I'm guessing she thought it might look great in her
Instagram pictures, because all around this cruise ship are pops
of red. What she didn't think about was the fact
that she was going to get confused for staff, so
(17:42):
it was pretty awkward. Here's what she said, I exact
when you pressed my hand one of the stuffs, waiting
to see how long are we taking.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
Myself half a house.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
At least she seemed to have a bit of fun
with it, because I think that there's so many influencers
who have such big egos that they wouldn't even want
to admit the people didn't know who they were. And
I think that this really highlights the weird fame that
influencers have, because most influencers could walk down the street
and no one would have any idea who they were.
But then there is this sub community of people who
(18:35):
know that person's coffee order or know everything about it,
watch them give birth. I suppose most normal people have
had this experience, though, when they're in a store and
someone comes up and asks you where something is, and
you're so offended. I think Amy's had it a few
times when she was younger and cheapest chips.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
I remember she was so pissed off.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
She gets it a lot because for our business, we
have these little vests made and she'll be in Woolworths
and people will be like, oh, sorry, where's the best
and she'd be like, what the fuck? I don't know
where they are.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I just yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
I think it's extra awkward in that situation if you're
an influencer and you've been invited on this trip and
you've kind of had your tires pumped up, and then
no one knows who you are and expects that you're
working there. Now. She is one of a number of
influencers who have been invited aboard, and to me, it
was very reminiscent of the Ultimate World Cruise, which we
spoke about at the start of the year, because that
(19:25):
cruise has been trending on TikTok and many of the
guests have now garnered huge followings because people want to
follow along the drama, and I can see why they're
wanting to send influencers on this cruise ship. It is
an adults only cruise and there's a lot of nights
where there's a lot of heavy drinking going on. I
do remember a similar cruise ship trip that influencers went
(19:46):
on in the UK, and it was funny because they
quickly discovered that there's a lot of swinging that goes
on board of cruise ships, and apparently if you wear
something that has fruit on it, people assume that you're
up for l swinging. So apparently one of the girl's
mums she had some sort of fruit earrings on and
she basically got approached by these people. He said, oh,
(20:06):
do you want to meet us in cabin fifty four.
That's pretty awkward because citrus is pretty on trend at
the moment, a lot of mistakes could happen. I wonder
if the publicist for Virgin is regretting inviting influencers on
the trip, because last week it came out that Virgin
actually not going to be returning to Australian waters for
their promised second sailing season, and that is in the
(20:27):
wake of escalating tension in the Red Seat. They don't
think it's safe anymore to be sailing there, So I
mean it's kind of a bit of a wasted opportunity
for them. Yeah, and also there's a spotlight now on
that messaging. That doesn't make me feel too good about it.
Good morning everyone.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
UK influencers.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Saffron Barker's whirl wind romance with former Welsh rugby player
Lewis Reesambert has come to a dramatic end, with the
couple on following each other at mischeating rumors. I feel
like the writing has been on the wall ever since
this relationship started in December. Well, we did speak about
this in depth because at the time we were saying
(21:05):
it's quite unusual for an influencer to share so openly
about their relationship, and such a hard launch too, because
she does have a dating podcast and she was talking
about how she was so single on that and then
all of a sudden she uploaded these getty images of
her and this new guy at this movie event and
they were fully loved up photos. Yeah, there was a
(21:26):
lot of speculation that because it all came around so quickly,
that maybe it was for pr But then when Saffron
talked more about the relationship, it seemed like she was
very invested in this and wanted everyone to know how
loved up she was. I'm assuming because most rugby players
have a reputation for being cheaters or having girls on
the side, so maybe she just wanted everyone to back off.
(21:48):
I think you've got a point there, because when this
relationship was hard launched, she was trending across TikTok all
these women being really upset that he was no longer single.
She is known for russia into relationships as well, so
i'd say much rushing into relationships. I'd say she's known
for having committed relationships. She's a relationship girl, but I
think that she moves pretty quickly in her relationships. I
(22:12):
mean she also has a trend of long distance relationships,
which is what this relationship actually turned out to be.
They were actually long distance from the start because he
lives in Wales and she lives in Brighton in the UK,
so they were about a five hour car journey. But
then about six weeks into their relationship, he created headlines
when he announced he was quitting Rugby to join the NFL.
(22:33):
So it was an NFL training camp where he had
to move immediately, and it's a ten week camp and
she was in the snow, and she obviously had no
idea that this was happening. It was all very quick
and she was really upset about it. Oh, she has
been talking a lot about it on her podcast, and
she has been saying how difficult it is. There at
the five week mark of him being away at the moment,
(22:55):
and she says she barely gets to speak to him
because her excuse is that he's at this training camp
and the timings don't align well. I think that she
says that they have daily face times and she has
made many declarations of love during this time. She's called
him her soulmate in numerous TikTok videos. He's also written
(23:15):
her a love letter because she said she wanted a
love letter whilst he was over there. She also was
very forward in saying that she wanted something for Valentine's Day,
so we spoke about it a couple of weeks ago.
He set up this really epic ostentatious Valentine's Day. To
be fair, her mom actually set it up. So he
was in talks with her mum, who probably was like,
(23:38):
you need to do something. So there were rose petals
leading down her staircase. He gave her Louis Vauton shoes,
multiple bunches of roses, balloons, you name it.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
She had it. It was very TikTok worthy.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
It was awkward because she kept using this content and
writing if he wanted to, he would, And just a
few weeks ago she posted for his birthday and the
mess said happy birthday to my one and only. I
love you so much. Thank you for coming into my life,
for loving me unconditionally, for motivating me every day, and
for always holding my hand so tight that I know
(24:11):
you'll never let go. Now it seems like the old
saying is true that the better someone's relationship looks on
social media, the actual worst. It is because Saffron is
currently on a girl's trip in Dubai with her friend
Harriet and the shit has completely hit the fan. So
she posted a photo lying on a sun bed and
(24:31):
bikini's and eagle eyed fans quickly spotted that she had
a new tattoo of Lewis's initials. So it was in
the inside of her arm in very small writing. I
didn't even notice it when I first saw the photo.
Now this also comes off the back of her wearing
jewelry with his initials on it. Yeah, I mean, as
you said, Kate in regards to the tattoo, it was
so small that you really had to zoom to make
(24:54):
it out, but it was clear that he wanted to
draw attention to it. So he commented under the post
tattoo and he did a number of love hard emojis
and smiley faces, and she wrote he he and a
kissing face. So it all seemed to be like he
was quite happy about the tattoo. Now we do not
know what has gone down in the hours that passed,
(25:14):
but a couple of hours later fans quickly noticed that
his comment was gone and the couple were no longer
following each other. It does appear Saffron has blocked him
because she no longer has her pin photo of him
up and all of the tags have disappeared. Also because
normally if you block someone, your comments disappear on their page.
Two it gets juicier because under the post it appears
(25:36):
that a series of new Finster accounts have been created.
Some are speculating by Saffron, some are speculating by her friends.
It is all speculation, however, it is quite interesting now.
One of the finsters wrote, have you and Lewis broken up? Now?
Under that, a finster said, looks like it unfollowed each
other and his comment on this post about her tattoo
(25:58):
has also gone. The third Finster account said lo Leopards
never changed their spots. Hope everyone finds out too. Now.
Saffron liked that post. See when you were reading it
out and I actually had seen the two initial comments,
I just assumed it was trolls shit staring. But the
fact that that person has commented saying Leopards never changed
(26:18):
her spots and she's liked it, Yeah, that is massive. Yeah. Well,
she also liked another comment that said he has been
caught out once again. He was talking to my family
friend in Brackets, my ex, and Saffron has just found out.
So yes, she liked that post, so she wants her
followers to note what has gone down. Fuck. I feel
for Saffron because I don't think Dubai has very good
(26:40):
memories for her because it's actually the holiday location that
she was accused of cheating on her previous boyfriend Tyler.
At again, that's all speculation. Well, Saffron and Lewis was
set to go to the mal Dives after his ten
week training camp.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Seem why they'd already booked. It be very.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Interesting to see what's going to go on there I'm
sure she'll take her friend or her mum with her.
They also have an energy drink business that they've only
just launched together. On her vlog, she's been talking about
having a lot of meetings about this business with Lewis's
business partner. So I don't know what is going to happen.
I'm sorry, but how quickly have this pair raced into things?
They've literally started dating in December, They've already opened a
(27:19):
business together, They've booked all of these trips getting tattoos.
This is all so many red flags. But I don't
know why she'd get the tattoo. I mean, it's clear
that she was head over heels in love with this guy,
and I do really feel for her. She's one of
my favorite influences and I was very invested in the relationship.
I mean, we spoke about how in December she'd bought
(27:40):
a soft toy and had her face printed on it.
She went in very strong, and a lot of people
are saying that she had stage five Klinger vibes, which
is why I feel extra sorry for her, because it's
just so shit. I hate when girls are made to
look stupid. Because obviously he's saying like spinning all this
shit to her for her to act that eager and
(28:00):
that keen. Yeah, I get where you're coming from, Like
you don't want to blame anyone in this situation, like
we actually don't know what has occurred, but I think
we do. I would think when you are an influencer
and she's been on social media since she was about fourteen,
and she's what twenty two, she's twenty three, twenty three,
you would think that you might just not make everything
(28:21):
so public because it just like when I was watching
this or on Unfold, I'm like, this is going to
be so awkward when they break up.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
And I knew that they would break up.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
I didn't think things would end well, but I did
not this quickly. No, I mean I do feel for her, like, fuck,
it would be so shit. And I think the reason
that she did want to make it so public is
because they're both public figures, and I think that she
was doing it as a thing to back off too. Yeah,
I think it shows insecurity. The worst bit is that
she does have this relationship podcast, and because she's already
(28:51):
spoken so openly about the relationship, she is going.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
To have to divulge a lot but that would be
great for her podcast.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Oh God, I can't wait. I can't wait to hear
about it, and I do feel for it. But that
is all we have time for today's show. Thank you
so much for joining us. Please some prayers for my
weather temperature at my wedding to drop down.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
That would be much appreciated.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Our cousin who is your bride'sman. He usually is on
the ball with these sorts of things. He predicted I
was having a baby boy, and he was correct. He
is predicting it's going to drop to twenty eight. Now
we're recording this on Thursday afternoon. I don't think it's
gonna go down from forty to twenty eight. I think
that is wishful thinking. But I always forget the word manifest. Manifest.
(29:32):
See that's why nothing right happens for me, because I
can't even think of the fucking word. Yeah, but please
manifest some cooler weather come five o'clock on Saturday, and
hopefully I don't look like a burnt tomato.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Look, we're gonna have a great time regardless if it's
if it's hot or not. Anyway, this podcast was recorded
on the traditional land of the Ghana, people of the
Adelaide Planes. We pay respect to elders past and present
and if you do enjoy the show, please leave us
a five star review in our subscriber episode on Thursday,
we have finally convinced my partner to appear on and
we will be chatting all things weddings then. Yeah, and
(30:05):
just a note, Tuesday's episode will actually be out on
Wednesday because we do have a public holiday in South Australia.
