Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
Sophie Torber and coming up on today's show, Matt Paul
pops the question in Palm Cove Sky, Wheatley's public falling
out with her business partner Tammy hambro throws shade at
her baby daddy's and Simone Anderson's very close relationship with
(00:24):
her mother in law. But first, there's already trouble in
Paradise between Veruca Salt and her new husband. I mean,
I can't say I'm completely shocked about this update. The
pair got married after knowing each other for fourteen days
in Vegas, so I feel like it was only a
matter of time before we started seeing cracks in this relationship. Well,
he so knew that. As followers, we don't even know
(00:46):
his name. He goes by the handle Digy Premium, so
we are going to refer to him as Digi when
we talk about him. Poor guy. I think he just
needs to put his name out there for once and
for all so we know what to call him. Well,
a lot of people must have gone on to follow him,
because people have been sending in the fact that he
is making a plea to Varuka's followers to pass on
a message to her. So it turns out that Veruka
(01:08):
has already blocked him. So he wrote on his Instagram stories,
y'all tell Varuka unblock me and I'm sorry, with two
sad faces and a broken heart emoji. He added go
comment on her posts, so it sounds like he's done something.
Aside from the fact that this would obviously be upsetting
it for Vruka, the silver lining is this is fantastic
TikTok content for her. I mean, all of the videos
(01:30):
of her talking about her wedding have gone completely viral.
They have millions of views, and everyone was saying, oh
my gosh, we can't wait for you to drop the
story of when it all goes tits up. Well, it
kind of makes Tammy hamber On Matzkowski's marriage not look
so bad. I mean, they were together for at least
what four or five months? I think it was seven
in the end. That seems to be the magical number.
Wasn't that how long Olivia Rodgers and Justin McKeon were
(01:51):
together for. I think people probably think, okay, if I
make it to six months. It doesn't look as bad
if I call things off. God, that's a sad milestone
to be holding out to hit. I just hope that
whatever has happened, Varuka tells us very shortly she will.
I think this will be an evolving story which we'll
be keeping our listeners across.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Hi, guys, I'm Matt Paul, former Ironman Champion.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Former iron Man Matt Paul has popped the question to
Analie oatweigh Whilst on a family vacation to Palm Cove.
Matt got down on one knee on a Palm Line
beach alongside their six month old son, Parker, and his
three year old daughter Posey, who he shares with his
ex fiance, Tammy hembro God, those pool jeans are strong.
Posey and Parker literally look like twins. They are so
(02:36):
adorable they are. And I think it's a really nice
touch that he proposed in front of their two kids.
Not to compare engagements, but he actually did the same
thing when he proposed to Tammy Hembro. So that took
place on a boat and he had her two kids,
Wolf and Saskia there, and I think Wolf held up
a little sign. They both did actually, if you want
to be really specific. Now, they shared the announcement on
(02:57):
Instagram and Matt wrote, let's plan a wedding, missus Paul.
I found that interesting because obviously he put up the
post and it was one of those collaborative posts, but
it seemed like he was very much driving the social
media around it. Well, probably because he's got the bigger following.
For those who don't know, Annalise actually works as a
nurse and she subsequently has got a bit of a
(03:18):
following off the back of Matt Paul and his connection
with Tammy Hembro. I suppose essentially, I mean to be
fair in Matt Paul's own right, he is an iron man,
but I think he's had a lot more eyes on
him since his connection with Tammy. Now we've got to
get into the ring, because it was quite a unique
looking ring. It was made by jeweler Son del Dole,
which is a bestoke studio in New South Wales. I
(03:42):
am going to do my best to describe this ring.
I'm not one hundred percent sure what the actual stone
is because diamond well, I wasn't sure. I thought maybe
it could have been a different stone. Whatever it is,
It is the shape of a pair and it's flipped
on the side and it is then surrounded by a
chunky gold band. It's difficult not to talk about this
ring without comparing it to the one Matt gave Tammy
(04:03):
Hembro and I feel bad comparing them, but I mean,
when you do propose to Australia's biggest influencer, that moment
is going to be burnt in a lot of people's minds.
And all I could think about was, oh, I preferred
Tammy's ring, like she had this beautiful, massive oval diamond
surrounded by smaller diamonds, so that a dream engagement ring.
(04:24):
I think.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
The unfortunate thing is her engagement ring from Matt Paul
was probably one of my favorite influencer rings ever. That
being said, this ring that he created for Annalise was
very sentimental and I think that it was her dream ring.
Now underneath the post, the jeweler congratulated the couple and
said that it was an honor to craft her ring,
and Matt replied reiterating that it was Analise's dream ring
(04:48):
and that inside the ring are both Posey and Parker's birthstones,
which is a very special touch, and I think it's
particularly sweet to see the relationship that Analise has with Posey.
Obviously she sees her as her own daughter. Now, the
ring divided opinions on social media. One person went as
far as to say it was a complete disappointment, which
(05:08):
I thought was pretty harsh, Like, just have your thoughts privately,
but you don't have to voice them on the posts. Yeah. Well,
one of Analisa's friends waiting in the comment section, and
they revealed that, as you said, Kate, Analise is actually
a nurse and because the ring is super flat, it
means that she can wear it during her shifts. She
also added that Matt obviously took that into consideration when
(05:29):
he got it custom made for her. I mean that
makes a lot of sense because you see these women
like Molly May and Tammy Hembro walking around with these
absolute massive rocks on their fingers, and I always think
how practical really is that. I mean, I often take
off my jewelry. I think I just get like a
sensory overload of having jewelry on. I actually remember my
hairdresser saying to me, don't get a ring that has
(05:51):
diamonds around the band. Because you're just going to get
pooh stuck on it when you have a child from
changing appies. I actually did op for a wedding band
with diamonds around it, but I actually haven't fallen into
that problem yet. Yeah, both my wedding bed and engagement
ring have that style of diamonds around the band and
I haven't had any issues. But again, I often don't
wear them when I'm changing. Now, as you would expect,
(06:11):
the comment section absolutely blew up under Matt Paul's post
with a lot of well wishes. The most notable was
Tammy Hambro's ex husband Matt Zakowski, who wrote, congratulation guys,
so happy for you both now. Matt Paul actually responded
to this comment, writing thanks mate. So what about Tammy,
because there's been a lot of speculation that there's bad
(06:31):
blood between them, No, so I searched his likes. She
did not like the post. To my knowledge, she has
not commented on it. I cannot see a comment from her,
and this has sparked further speculation that there is growing
bad blood between Tammy and Matt, because he was caught
out liking a parody video which mocked Tammy for filming
(06:52):
herself crying following her divorce. I definitely think something is
going on there. We're going to dive a little bit
deeper into that later in this episode. Now, another interesting
element of this proposal that I want to finish on
is the fact that this took place on what appeared
to be a paid trip to Port Douglas and Palm Cove,
or at least a gifted trip, because in the lead
(07:14):
up to this proposal, Matt was posting all about his stay.
Now he tagged his resort, which surprisingly wasn't actually my
favorite place on Earth, the Grand Mirage Sheraton, which we've
seen a lot of influences recently, staying out. Maybe he
didn't want to propose there because Tammy's other ex and
baby daddy Rhyese Hawkins proposed to his wife, former wife
(07:37):
now London go in there, so maybe he's like, I've
got to do it somewhere else. Did they actually ever
get married or were they just fiance's Well, it was
around COVID and all of a sudden restarted referring to
London as his wife. Oh that's right, And there was
a bit of speculation that they got married in a
small ceremony and we're going to do a big thing
later on, but then that never happened. They broke up. Okay,
(07:58):
well for anyone who stays important Douglas. The place that
Matt and an Alas were actually staying is the Pullman.
It looks like a much more family friendly resort now
he tagged them in the post. I'm not actually sure
if they gave him a trip for free, because there
was no sort of paid partnership tools being used, but
he did appear to have a paid partnership with a
rental car company over there, so I wonder how stoked
(08:22):
those companies would have been that he ended up popping
the question over there, because can you imagine the engagement
on his page right now? Yes, win win for everyone.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Really, Okay, I am here to spill the tea.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Sky Wheatley and her business partner Tory Jong appear to
have rekindled their friendship. The former besties who run Good
People Apparel dramatically unfollowed each other last month. Now, the
timing of this bust up was particularly tough for Sky
because she had just announced her breakup with her baby
daddy Lockie War. She actually ended up backtracking a couple
(08:55):
of weeks later, though, saying that she and Locke plan
to work through things when they're not so busy with
their house renovations, and she explained on her podcast that
one of the reasons for this backflip was because she
was in the midst of a friendship breakdown and couldn't
mentally go through both at the same time. Now fast
forward a couple of weeks and Sky and Tory have
refollowed each other. Now the refollow comes at an interesting
(09:18):
time because Tory has just announced to her forty two
thousand followers on TikTok that she's split from her partner
of ten years. So she announced that she's officially single
and said that things have been up and down with
her partner since March. Now, Tory has four kids, three
of which she shares with this partner, and she said
that she has been caring for her kids ninety nine
(09:40):
percent of the time while her partner, who is a
fi FO workie, is away, and she admitted that his
job is half the reason for the split because he
is so absent and she always feels alone. It's quite
interesting because, similar to Sky Unlockee, Tory said that she
is still living in the same house as her ex
as they figure out what they're going to Well, I
suppose that's when he's there. Yeah, well, she said that
(10:02):
she's been living out of a suitcase, so when he
does come back from work, she goes and stays with
a friend. I think this situation in the early days
of a breakup when kids are involved is probably quite common.
It's just not something that we hear a lot of
people talk about. Yeah, well, I really feel for Toy
because she said that she's shit scared about what she's
going to do financially because she is primary care of
(10:23):
her four kids and the only really money that she
has coming in is through her small business which she
owns with Sky. So you know, maybe this is also
why they've had to get over their fight and become
friends so they can try and make as much money
from this business as they can, or it might have
been the catalyst for the fight, because when you own
a business, if someone is personally going through financial stress,
(10:45):
they're going to be obviously wanting to crack down and
try and make the business as successful as possible, where
a Sky appears to also have a lot on her
plate with their renovations and everything that's going on with Lockie. Well,
I just think it's quite clear that Sky and Tory
have reconnected over the fact that they now find themselves
in the same situation with their relationships. They've both split
with their long term partners who they share kids with.
(11:07):
That would be very tough and it would be helpful
to have someone going through the same thing now. Underneath
Tory's announcement, a follower wrote, you and Sky can move
in together now. Another follower responded under that comment, saying
I don't think that they're friends anymore. I saw somewhere
and Tory responded saying Sky and I are fine guys.
As much as it sounds like a great idea to
(11:29):
move in with your best friend, considering their friendship is
sort of touch and go at the moment, I don't
think it's a good idea that they join forces at
this stage. Learn from my cock apps for surgery pecking
and only teck the essentials. Simone Anderson has shared the
results of a recent breast augmentation surgery, posting to where
four hundred and thirty thousand followers. The New Zealand Influencers
(11:51):
shared a carousel of faceless images of her new boobs.
This popped up on my newsfeed and it gave me
quite a jump, Scout, I was not expecting it that day. Well,
she did abide by Instagram's rules, so her nipples were
covered with surgical tape. Want to put that out there
now for those who aren't across Simone's content. She gained
a massive following after documenting her weight loss journey and
(12:15):
her subsequent skin revision and removal surgery. So alongside the
images of her boobs, the thirty four year old wrote,
holy tits, I can't believe their mind. I never thought
my figure could look like this after losing nearly one
hundred kilograms. I realized almost nine and a half years ago,
after my first mummy makeover, that my loose skin couldn't
(12:35):
be fully addressed in one go, something no amount of
exercise or training would have been able to fix. I
wanted to wait until I was done having children and
had built some strength back before undergoing such a massive
surgery again. And let me tell you it was so
worth the weight. She finished the post by outlining the
size of the breast implants and also a snippet of
(12:58):
what her husband, Trent te so he said that it
was the best money he's ever spent, and he hasn't
even seen them in real life yet. I don't know
if we needed that added there. I don't want to
hear that. I don't really like that or the use
of the word mummy makeover in saying that. I think
it is good that she's been transparent about the surgeries
that she's had following this dramatic weight loss, because there
(13:21):
would be a lot of people that may be in
her position and be thinking, oh, why has my skin
not bounced back. So I'm glad that she's saying, oh, well,
you know, I've had to do all of these things
in order to look like this. However, calling it a
mummy makeover, it's like, well, that infers that all mums
after having kids need this type of surgery. Yeah. I
don't really like the term mummy makeover because I feel
(13:41):
like there's almost this connotation that you have to fix
yourself after having a child. Yeah, it definitely plays into
bounce back culture in this sense of you have to
revert yourself back to what you were like before, be
that getting a new haircut or makeup or surgery. Now,
simone must have really read my mind, because when I
saw these photos go up on Instagram, I thought, oh God,
(14:02):
what do the people that know her thing? Like, what
does her mother in law think? And she said, am
I worried about my mother in law seeing my boobies online?
She was one of the first people I sent a
photo of them too, So no, Lo, how do you
feel about that? If you were getting breast in plants,
would you feel comfortable to send your mother in law
a photo of them? I think the scenario is a
little bit more layered because it was reconstructive surgery after
(14:25):
this dramatic weight loss. It wasn't just like, oh, I
want bigger boobs. It was sort of restoring what her
body was like before she put on the weight and
had the excess skin. Still, I don't know if I'd
be sending a photo to my mother in law. I
could most see sending you guys a photo, but I'd
still find that weird. I mean, a couple of my
friends have got breast in plants and one friend was
(14:46):
open to sending me a snapchat of what they looked like.
And I think it's perhaps because they're new and they
don't quite feel like yours yet. I mean, It just
depends how open you are about sharing photos of your body.
I think the weird thing is the whole in law thing.
It seems a bit taboo to show your mother in
law your new boobs, particularly when your husband's sending these texts,
oggling them and being not her best money've ever spent.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Like all good love stories, it started on a bus.
There were love hearts sort of popping in the sky.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
I think I suddenly slipped off my chair. It came
out of no way. You were just upright, and then
sudden you were some hours off. Olivia Rogers has revealed
she's moving in with her boyfriend of two years, Hugo Braki.
The former Miss Universe Australia winner, said she's excited for
this next chapter and referred to the business consultant as
the love of her life. Kate, when we spoke about
(15:39):
these two a couple of weeks ago, we said we
were on engagement watch. I think that has just intensified.
I am predicting an engagement in the next couple of weeks.
I want to see Olivia in her bridal era again,
and I'm sure there's a lot of brands who would
also like to see her in that because when she
was getting married, I literally wanted everything she had. I
mean I didn't quite have the budget direct with what
(16:00):
she had, but yeah, even though the wedding didn't work,
I used it as a little bit of wedding in
spo myself. In this post, Olivia seemed quite emotional about
the fact that she was leaving this apartment because it
had become her safe haven after her divorce, because she
quickly had to sell her the home that she shared
with her ex husband Justin McKean after their split, and
(16:20):
she actually documented the whole thing, which was quite interesting
at the time. So she wrote, I moved in here
three years ago during one of the hardest chapters of
my life, going through a divorce and trying to find
my feet on my own. This little apartment became my
safe place where I healed, rebuilt, and found myself again.
Now I'm leaving to move in with the love of
my life, forever grateful for the chapter I had in
(16:41):
this place, and beyond excited for the next one. Is
it wrong that I'm really nosy to see what Hugo's
house or apartment looks like? Why am I imagining something
quite lux well? Why is it necessarily that she's moving
into his place, Like maybe they've got one together. Yeah,
that's a good point. For some reason, I just assumed
that she was shacking up with him in his old place. See,
I think that they're probably going to get a place together,
because it's always awkward moving into someone's house or apartment
(17:04):
when they've had it by themselves for quite a number
of years. It feels like their space, whereas you want
a space, it's yours.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
Well.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Actually, reflecting on the interview that she did with Hugo
a couple of weeks ago on her old podcast, she
said that he lived with a roommate who didn't they
nickname him Spike from notting Hill, Yeah, because they were
comparing their relationship to that of Hugh Grant and Julia
Roberts in that movie, you know, the celebrity and the
lowly book shop owner.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Like I'm not trying to like call anyone out, but yeah,
it's just I feel like I've always had to sort
of do everything, like Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Tammy Hembro has thrown shade at her baby daddy's, declaring
she has always felt like a single mum. Appearing on
the debut episode of her sister Emily's podcast. Tammy didn't
hold back when asked about the struggles of motherhood. Kate. Yeah,
I don't think her former fiance Matt Paul will be
too pleased Reees Hawkins either, But I think he's used
to being called out about his parenting since moving to Balley.
(18:04):
But it's a different case for Matt Paul because he's
always gotten a bit of a good guy edit often.
I think it's in contrast to Reese. Yeah. Well, to
be fair to Matt, he does have split custody of
their daughter, Posey, and he very much appears to be
in her life. He posts a lot of content about
her That makes a big difference, and from the outside
looking in, it seemed like the two on pretty good terms.
(18:25):
That was until Tammy announced her divorce from Matt Szakowski
and crack started appearing. Because it seems like Matt Paul
has cided with Matt Sakowski. There's been a few Instagram
comments alluding to it, not to mention Matt and his
partner an Alise liking that parody video that you touched
on earlier in this podcast. Yeah, the two Matt's budding
(18:46):
relationship seems really odd to me. It's kind of like
they both caught up to bitch about their ex. That's
sort of the vibes of what's going on here now.
Tammy's tone towards Matt has definitely changed publicly. While discussing
the challenges of motherhood on this podcast, Tammy revealed that
she always felt like a single mum even when she
was in a relationship with her kids' father's Let's have
(19:08):
a listen to what she said.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
I still remembers you to the office with me. I
feel like, even in like my like past relationships, I've
sort of always felt like a single mom. Like I
feel like I never really had a partner that I
felt actually helped me in that sense, as like, you know,
like a co parent now.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
She went on to say that she wasn't trying to
call anyone out, but she feels like she's always had
to do everything. I felt so sorry for her when
I heard this, because I just can't even comprehend one
being a mom at that age, like she was only
nineteen when she had her first child, and having to
navigate all of these breakups and holding it together for
(19:53):
these young kids. It's just incredible. What she's gone through.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Well, Amy actually revealed after Tammy's breakup presumer with Reheese
Hawkins that she moved in with her to help with
a young Wolf and Saskia. The other interesting part of
this episode was when they discussed whether they would let
their kids have social media or not. Emily seemed more
passionate than the others about it. She said that she
loves the new social media band that's coming into effect
(20:18):
for kids under sixteen, and they're under no circumstance would
she allow her kids to have it. You know, when
someone's really passionate about something. It felt like Amy and
Tammy couldn't really disagree, so they said, yeah, they wouldn't
let their kids have social media, which I was kind
of thinking, well, what's the difference because you put them
on your own social media platforms. Well, it was weird
because Tammy said that she wouldn't, But then she admitted
(20:38):
that Wolf actually wants to start up his own YouTube channel.
Let's have a listen to what she said.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Wolf is like begging me for to start a YouTube channel.
He'd actually, I'm want to be like yeah, sure, like
play with toys on the I don't even know they
filled me with their iPad.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
I swear he like move on that he's like uploading.
What's his use? Do you know?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
No, he definitely does, doesn't but he does just like
vlog on his iPad around the house, like not to
low key. He would actually be really good, He actually would.
He's such a character.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Do we reckon he does have a secret YouTube channel somewhere,
because if he does, I'm sure a lot of media
publications would love to get their hands on the content
he's putting out there about his mom. No, I mean
us included, We would very much like to see that content.
It was pretty funny because Tammy and Emily said that
their kids love watching their vlogs. I mean I remember
growing up and loving watching old family videos. I suppose
(21:37):
it's the same thing, except millions of people don't see it. Well.
Sarah's Day said her son Fox loves watching his own
birth vlog, so it'd be pretty cool. It would be
really cool, I mean, just not everyone seeing it. Like
if if your parents back in the day actually filmed
all the lead up to your birth, if you could
watch that privately, it would be great. But I don't
think i'd want to out there for everyone to see.
(21:57):
What did you think about this first episode of Emily's podcast. Look,
I don't want to be mean, but I think the
two questions that we covered really saved the whole episode
because it was a bit of a Snoresville Otherwise. I
just felt like Nova gave Emily a bunch of really
basic motherhood questions and they were trying to be really
peacy about it all.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
See.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
I actually quite enjoyed it because I don't normally hear
Tammy and her sisters talking about motherhood, and at the
moment it's a bit of my Roman Empire. I love
hearing about how people, particularly people in the public eye
and people who run their own businesses, are coping having children.
So I kind of related to it as much as
I could. I just found it a little bit boring.
(22:38):
I mean, I have heard Tammy interviewed quite a lot.
I just didn't feel like they gave heaps like I
think they warmed up. But I'm looking forward to part
two because I think there's going to be room for redemption.
It sounds like it's going to be a lot more
interesting because Emily said they're going to go deep on
topics they haven't discussed online before, including heartbreak, grieving and loss.
So I'm expecting big things, but in.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
All honesty, I have been struggling.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Saffron Barker has admitted her move to Dubai has put
pressure on her relationship with her boyfriend Josh Milne. The
couple made the move from the UK to Dubai just
eight months into their relationship. Now, for some background, Josh
is a twenty three year old Scottish model who lived
in Dubai it during his teenage years. When he and
Saffron first got together, he moved so quickly into her
(23:27):
mansion in bright and everyone was like getting whiplashed from
the whole thing. And he seemed to really integrate himself
into her life with her family. Yeah, I was like
Saffron's mum Wendy is going to love him because he
is all about Saffron and their family. It's quite clear
that's what they've been looking for, because Saffron is the
type of person who on her podcast spoke about how
(23:48):
the fact that if you're a girl, your boyfriend should
come and spend Christmas Day with you and your family.
They shouldn't agree with it. No, I think that you
have to see both families. Oh, I'm just joking. I
mean as you say, Okay. Saffron is incredibly family orientated.
She has built this mega mansion at Brighton, which is
just down the road from her parents. She also lives
(24:09):
very close to her two brothers and their partners, who
also live in the same suburb. In fact, her sister
in law recently just moved back to Brighton because they
started a business together, so a pajama brand. So she
would have been absolutely spewing to find out that Saffron
was moving to the Middle East. Yeah, so this move
really shocked everyone, including her followers. Saffron has always spoken
(24:31):
about wanting to pursue an acting career, which meant she
would live part time in la and part time in
the UK, but she never mentioned the prospect of moving
to the Middle East. And when Saffron announced the move
to her followers, she explained that Josh had had to
slot himself into her life and move into her house
and it was time for them to move somewhere where
(24:51):
they were on more of an even playing field. However,
it became quite apparent early on that moving to Dubai
was actually Josh's dream, because as you touched on Kate.
He lived there as a teenager, and we later found
out in Saffron's blogs, so his dad actually still lives there,
as well as a lot of his friends from childhood
who they've subsequently been hanging out with. So it doesn't
(25:11):
really seem to be this even playing field. It seems
like Saffron is now having to thlot herself into his life,
which seems quite established in Dubai. Yeah, and it seems
like it's starting to cause a bit of friction because
in Saffron's recent YouTube video, she opened up about how
she was coping with the move, so she titled the video,
I have been struggling lately. Let's take a listen to
some of what she said.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
But in all honesty, I have been struggling because I
just somebody who honestly.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Can't survive without routine.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Like I have to have a routine and I have
to be product to you, but I have to be
doing things, and if I'm not, that's just really stressful.
It sounds ridiculous. But even like when I go and
do like things that you should just enjoy and be
in the moment, all I'm constantly doing is thinking about
the next thing.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
And I think that's something go definitely duty to work on.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
You know, if Josh and I are on holiday, we're
laying around the beach, all I'm thinking about is how
I want to be working, which I know is like
a little bit weird because my mind just honestly doesn't
switch off and I definitely do need to learn to
teach myself that and learn to have balance. But yeah,
where we just haven't had like furniture, and we've been
moving around.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Even though we've been in this place now for maybe
over a month.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
We've had like people come and stay with us, and
I've been traveling a lot, and it's still just we
still just hadn't like got.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Ourselves into a routine. And let me tell you, we're
not there. We are so far from it.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
And it's definitely been putting like way more pressure on
our relationship as well, because you know, like neither of
us have really been living like a reality, if that
makes sense, because we've kind of just been like here,
there and everywhere. And although moving to device is probably
one of the easiest places you can move to, it's
still obviously a long process and there's lots you've got
to do, and you know, finding your feet and stuff
(26:51):
like that, and just meeting new people and not having
your family and friends here like.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
It just yeah, it's just a whole different experience.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
I was really surprised to hear her admit the told
that this move has actually put on their relationship, in
saying that it's not surprising at all. Even if you
have the strongest relationship, if you're living in a different
country with one person you've only known for a couple
of months, and you're in this young relationship, there are
always going to be arguments. You don't have any outside
(27:20):
source to speak to or complain or vent to. I
found it interesting that she referenced that they're not currently
living a normal life, like living the reality that most
people do, and that's a problem because you would think
for a lot of couples that if you got to
go traveling all the time and you got to party
and eat whatever you want and have family staying over
(27:43):
and friends staying over, that that would be like a
honeymoon period for most couples. But she's saying that she's
craving the stability that they used to have at Brighton.
But to me, what she's craving is having her family there.
I also think it has a lot to do with
her career though, because she has been incredibly career focused
ever since she started her channel as a teenager, and
as we touched on in the past couple of years,
(28:05):
she has set herself some pretty lofty goals when it
comes to acting, and it seems like this move to
Dubai has meant that she hasn't been able to focus
on it, and maybe there's a bit of resentment creeping in.
It seems like this move to Dubai is all about
Josh and what he wants to do, and maybe some
modeling opportunities around there. I also think for her, she's
(28:25):
very into fitness, and she said that she's finding that
they are falling into bad habits, so her boyfriend Josh
doesn't like to get up early in the morning where
she likes to do a lot of early morning exercise classes.
I mean, when you move in with someone, you truly
find out their bad habits and maybe the fact that
you're potentially not on the same page now. Some of
Saffron's followers weighed in on the comment section of the YouTube.
(28:47):
One user wrote, I feel you are so out of
your comfort zone in Dubai. Sometimes that's not a bad thing,
but I can't help think you need to go back
to the UK. I'm worried about Saffron. She is one
of my favorite influences, and I couldn't help but feel
like she just looked really sad in her YouTube video.
There was this sadness in her eyes that I haven't
seen before. Is it a bit of a cry for
help or sort of dropping hints that she will be
(29:10):
moving back soon to the UK. The sad thing is
I actually really like her and Josh together as a couple.
They compliment each other really well. I think it's just
clear that they're both very young and potentially just a
bit selfish. I think anyone's selfish at that age.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
But do we think that she's going to be back
in the UK long term soon? I don't know. I
really don't know. I'd like to see her move back
and then move back together, but it just seems like
they're in a bit of a struggle at the moment. Well,
that is where we're going to leave things today. If
