Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
Sophie Torbert and coming up on today's show, Chaos erupts
as Tammy Hembro's wedding invites elite Broxy Jizenko's giveaway saga
escalates to a whole new level of pr disaster, and

(00:20):
Sophia Beg is accused of bulling her ex. But First,
Talia Scaines has revealed her legal battle against ex boyfriend
Mitch Third is over now. Back in twenty twenty two,
Talia filed a lawsuit against Mitch, alleging he owed her
hundreds and thousands of dollars from their joint e commerce
clothing venture, which was called Third Fix Collection. Court documents

(00:43):
revealed that Talia alleged that the division of their business
assets had allegedly triggered verbal threats of violence from Mitch,
which made her fear for her safety. She also alleged
that Mitch threatened to publish online private images of her,
as well as images material online that would degrade her character.
I do want to point out that Mitch denied these

(01:06):
allegations now since then, it's been unclear whether the case
was settled out of court as everything went quiet, that
is until now. Kate. Yeah. So, in a recent Q
and a, Talia confirmed the legal case was over, but
she didn't reveal the verdict, which I would have loved
to know. She did say that she often gets a
lot of questions about the legal battle and wishes that

(01:27):
she spoke about it at the time. She conceded, though,
that she's not the type of person to talk about
negative and serious things or call people out publicly online.
She also wrote, I also wanted to do things the
right way, and when there's lawyers and police involved and
it's an active case, I didn't want to speak publicly
and was advised not to during that time. I do
wonder if that's coming from her legal background, because she

(01:49):
is a qualified lawyer. She then went on to say
that she put on a brave face, but she actually
struggled more than she realized. She wrote, I finally had
the courage to leave my previous relationship and move on
with my life, but kept getting dragged back down by
a very expensive, very draining legal battle. I think that
perhaps the reason she's not talking about it now or
wanting to go into more detailers because she's signed a

(02:11):
confidentiality agreement. They probably agreed to settle outside of court,
so neither of them are wanting to say too much
about what's actually happened. Yeah, but then why even address
the question because that's going to cause trouble. Well, I
think she's touching on the question because, as she said,
she's getting inundated with questions about this case. She probably
wanted to put it to bed by saying it has
been resolved. Yeah. Well, Mitch Third has seemingly hit back

(02:34):
at Talia, so he posted a selfie with the caption
imagine your girlfriend publicly talking about her ex three years later. Now,
doesn't this to speak absolute volumes about the type of
character Mitch Third has because he has phrased it that
he must be so embarrassing for Talia's current boyfriend that
she's still talking about him. It's like, buddy, she's not

(02:55):
talking about you in a positive life. Yeah, But it's
also he is phrasing so her boyfriend is called Jake Sajano.
He is acting as if Talia is the property of Jake,
and how embarrassing for Jake's property to be speaking out
how dare she reflect on her past relationship because this
new guy owns her. Tammy Hembro and Matt Zakowski's wedding

(03:16):
invitation has been dramatically leaked online by fellow influencer Sophia
beg Now. During a weekly vlog, Sophia set up her
camera to capture her recent deliveries. When she discovered an
invite in the post from Tammy and Matt for their
upcoming wedding, she was very excited and ended up showing
the camera a close up of the wedding invite. What

(03:37):
was she thinking now? I was quite surprised by the
look of these wedding invites. They had a kind of
royal vibe to them. They had these swirls around the
border and large cursive writing. Someone did say they looked
a bit like a pirate map, like they would cut
out like a pirate's map. Yeah. I was a little
bit underwhelmed when I saw them as well. They're not
very chic, are they now? The catch is that Sophia

(04:01):
showed such a close up shot of this invite that
the date and location of the wedding was clearly visible.
I'm interested to know if she's one of those influences
that blurs her own address when she does pr holes,
because if she does that, it didn't blur this. She's
got some questions she needs to answer. Well, it didn't
take long for super Sloose to type in a couple

(04:22):
of those details and locate the online version of the invite.
So Tammy and Matt had one of those online wedding
pages set up where there's a Q and a section
and lots of information about the event over the weekend.
Why would they do that? I don't mean to victim blame,
but this is the same thing that happened to Sarah's day.
It just seems like it would be so easy to

(04:42):
leak online information. I know sometimes people put a password
on these websites, not to even have a password setup.
It's very odd. It is all very confusing. And this
website did include information about the ceremony time, the dress
code which for reference is black tie, the recover read details,
and where wedding guests will be staying well and most

(05:03):
importantly the date of this wedding. Yeah, and as Matt
outlined on his podcast a few months ago, it is
very lucky because they have chosen to keep the venue
as a secret to guests right up until the last minute,
so thankfully people don't know the actual venue. But it
has been revealed that it's a destination wedding in Byron Bay,
So there's going to be a lot of media, a

(05:24):
lot of paparazzi interested in getting first photos of Tammy
and her dress. And it's not going to take the
much time to work out where this venue is. They've
got enough time to do digging around and source out
where this wedding is taking place. I do want to
point out that we're choosing not to share the date
and the time of certain events because I think that

(05:46):
that has the potential to jeopardize the couple's day and
also their safety, because you never know if fans are
going to rock up or if the media are going
to scout out the location. I mean highly likely they
are going to I just find it so ironic that
it was an influencer who leaked this information. I would
love to know the conversation that's gone on between Tammy

(06:07):
and Sofa Dau for now. I do really feel for
Tammy because she obviously knows that there's going to be
a lot of media interest in this story. So much
so that they've decided to keep the venue a secret
right up until the last minute. And now it's been
made ten times easier for the media because they can
book out Byron Bay ahead of the wedding, they can
go and scout out locations, they can start speaking to

(06:30):
people on the ground, and essentially they can try and
get the first shot of Tammy before she has the
opportunity to share it to her followers. I was interested
to see how other pages dealt with this, because we
did have people trying to post the details in our
Facebook group, but we didn't approve the post because, as
you said, I felt bad being a part of this leak.

(06:51):
Now Influencer updates Au. She ended up sharing details of
the couple's online wedding invite to her close Friends story
so people who subscribe to her channel could see this information. Now.
She's been on Matt and Anna's podcast before. Oh Mate
Forgot Yeah, So Matt actually reached out to her and
asked if she could take it down, which she did.

(07:12):
It also appears that Tammy and Matt reached out to
Sofa Dofha because that section of the vlog has now
been edited. It was just such a major fuck up
by Sofa Doper. I just want to know what she
was thinking. I wonder if it comes down to her age,
because I feel like there are just so many unspoken
wedding etiquette rules that maybe she didn't realize that you

(07:34):
shouldn't be posting the invite. I mean, it's an even
bigger issue when this is a celebrity couple and people
are trying to work out the date and where they're
having it. I wonder if it is a bit of
a flex to say that she is invited. I have
found it pretty amusing that people seem to be obsessed
over the fact that Tammy has stipulated on the invite
that it's a kid free event. Obviously, Tammy has three

(07:57):
kids of her own. She also has a lot of
nieces and nephew so I think a lot of people
were shocked by this request. It did surprise me. I
thought that, if anything, she would be encouraging people to
bring their kids along and really incorporating her kids into
the day. Yeah. Another big one that captured a lot
of media headlines was around the fact that Tammy and

(08:17):
Matt have a wishing well. A wishing well is a
very normal thing most couples now have at their weddings,
but the media seemed to be obsessed with the fact
that Tammy is worth fifty million dollars and it's very
tacky of her to ask people for a gift. Oh.
Channel seven even ran with the headline Ozzie Afr rich
list Tammy Hembro worth fifty million dollars asked for donations

(08:39):
for her upcoming wedding to reality start Matt Zakowski. But
she hasn't asked for donations. It's a wishing well. It
is a wedding gift. Like I don't understand all of
the hype around it, because, Okay, she is worth a
lot of money, but she's been to her friend's weddings
and she's provided a gift. And Matt zaku he's not

(09:00):
worth a lot. Maybe he needs the money, I know.
I mean, I did want to have a look at
how they actually phrased it, because I know with us,
we tried to do a cute little poem. So their
thing read, your presence on the day is the greatest
gift of all. However, if you would like to gift
us something, a wishing well will be at our wedding
for contributions and well wishes. So I mean she's not

(09:22):
specifying than in order to get into the wedding you
have to pay money. It's just saying, if you would
like it, we have a wishing well set up. I
do think that the level of discomfort about the wishing
well is coming from the fact that sections of this
wedding are being sponsored. So we already know that she
has a sponsorship deal with Vera Wang which will slash

(09:45):
tens of thousands of dollars from their overall budget. And
some people are also saying that potentially Tammy may have
a deal lined up with a magazine, so she could
be giving first access to her wedding photos. So some
people are thinking, well, she could actually be making money
off this wedding, so why should her guests have to
give her money? But I still think that this couple

(10:07):
are going to have a pretty hefty bill for their
wedding because the majority of the costs do come down
to the venue and the food and the alcohol, which
in my opinion, is not going to be sponsored. Just
thinking about it a little bit more, we do know
that it is a destination wedding, so Matt is based
in Melbourne and tammy Is on the Gold Coast. Is

(10:27):
a little bit cheeky now thinking about it, to ask
for a wishing well donation when guests are probably having
to travel there, or do we think perhaps, I mean
these details might have been on the invite. I'm not
sure that they're covering the cost of the accommodation in
the flight. They did suggest some possible places for guests
to stay on the website, but to me it didn't

(10:47):
look as though they were covering the cost of it.
You'd be extra pissed off now that this invite has
leaked because, as I mentioned, the media are probably going
to be booking out a lot of the accommodation in
Byron Bay and that is going to lift the prices everywhere. Well,
what do you give a multimillionaire in their wishing well?
It's a hard one because I mean you've got to remember,

(11:08):
I would personally feel uncomfortable rocking up with nothing. I
think that that is the height of rudeness. Yeah. Sometimes
I think that the card is more important than how
much money you give. I think that you should always
make sure that you have a very heartfelt and beautiful
message to your friend because it is such an important
day for them in saying that socially, there are always
going to be expectations to give a certain amount of money,

(11:32):
particularly when you are going to what I assume is
going to be a very lux and expensive wedding, because
what was also revealed on the invite is that the
Nuptial Collective is going to be planning this wedding. So
if you haven't heard of them before, it is a
very high end wedding planning business and they have worked
with some notable high profile brides such as Brook Hogan

(11:54):
and also shameless as Zara McDonald. So the business is
known for working on very high end weddings that do
come with a hefty price tag. Yeah, but your normal
everyday person that's going to that wedding isn't going to
know that that's a high profile wedding plan. Yeah, but
I know that Tammy and Matter high profile and obviously
they're going to drop a lot of money. But also
in the same vein, I don't think that you should

(12:16):
have to essentially give more money just because someone is
choosing to hold an expensive wedding. Yeah, And I think
because people know how much Tammy is worth that any
donation that they make will probably be appreciated, so I
think you would just stick with what you normally give
at a wedding. I did see the influencer updates. AU
suggested that couple should be spending one thousand to two
thousand dollars and I was like, what, Yeah, I mean,

(12:38):
there are going to be some high profile influencers and
entrepreneurs there, but I think they're only having one hundred
and twenty people. I think most of it will be
family and friends who don't have that much money. It
does surprise me a little bit that they didn't decide
instead of a wishing well, to do like a donation. Yeah,
you know, if you would like to bring a donation,

(13:00):
will put it towards this charity. Yeah. I think that
would have been a nice touch and a good pr move.
I mean, they didn't know that their wedding invit was
going to be leaked. You would have thought that that
was private. I do feel for them though, because essentially
I do think that they should still be allowed to
have a wishing well if that's what they want. Well,
it has been a big week for Tammy and Matt,

(13:20):
so all of that has gone down plus Matt's podcast
co host Anna McAvoy got tongues wagging when she uploaded
a TikTok with the caption when the disrespect is louder
than the apology. Now, she recently got married in Greece,
which we spoke about a lot, and she also runs
a fake tanning business called Goldie b with her husband,

(13:41):
and followers immediately thought that Anna was throwing shade at
Tammy Hembro because she recently promoted a Bondaie San's face
tanner a few days earlier. Now fans thought Anna was
upset at Tammy for promoting a rival Brad. I did
notice the other day she also promoted Sunday Riley Tanning
drops as well. I'm sorry, but why shouldn't she be

(14:03):
allowed to do her job and promote other tanning brands
just because Matt's co host has a small business, Like
I don't see what I think, Probably because there's been
this big push to promote the fact that Anna and
Tammy are friends now, and I personally could see how
it would be a little bit annoying if you've got
this business and your friends with someone and then they're

(14:24):
paid like a shit ton of money to promote a
rival product. I do want to point out that Anna
has confirmed she was not speaking about Tammy Hembro in
that TikTok video. Do we believe that? Though I tend
to believe her, I think that she was actually trying
to throw shade at one of her bridesmaids who ended
up not being in her wedding. We did discuss a

(14:44):
couple of weeks ago how Anna and Michael had to
get one of the groomsmen to become a celebrant because
she didn't want her bridesmaids and groomsmen not looking even
because she had one less bridesmaid. And someone did contact
our page and say, hey, she actually had a full
out with one of her bridesmaids. So again I don't
know if that's actually confirmed, but a lot of people

(15:05):
are speculating that she's mad at the bridesmaid. Roxy Juzenko's
ten million dollar house giveaway saga has escalated to a
whole new level of pr disaster. The competition draw, which
was scheduled to take place last Friday, was put on
hold after the New South Wales Supreme Court appointed a
provisional liquidator to the company running the promotion. The decision

(15:28):
was handed down following a successful application by Roxy now Kate.
When we last discussed this debacle, Roxy had just announced
she was issuing refunds. What has happened since? Well, that's right,
So a couple of weeks ago, Roxy revealed that she
was stepping away from the controversial giveaway due to a
falling out she had with the two business partners. The

(15:50):
pr queen announced that she would personally be refunding everyone
who entered the competition after she claimed she discovered the
lavish prizes promoted could not be guaranteed. Now, since Roxy's
announcement made the news, the two remaining directors of the company,
Tills and Oloui, announced they would continue with the promotion
without Roxy. They also denied Roxy's claims. Now as a refresher,

(16:14):
the promotion was packaged up as a subscription to Roxy's
marketing school, with an entry into the draw to win
the major prize of a ten million dollar house alongside
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars cash, a burken bag,
and a Rolex. There was confusion though from the get go,
as it turned out that the winner would only gain
entry into the game of Chance to win the home. Now,

(16:36):
as we mentioned, the competition was set to be drawn
on Friday. However, on Wednesday, the Supreme Court of New
South Wales ordered that provisional liquidators take over the company.
So this was off the back of an application Roxy
made to the court after her business partners refused her
request to stop the promotion. Now, Roxy claimed she made

(16:57):
the application in a bid to protect the public, as
she alleges the company was not in a position to
ensure the house if one would be available as a prize. Now, interestingly,
it has been revealed in court that a subclause existed
that stated the ten million dollar property would only be
delivered if the competition achieved more than eleven point five

(17:20):
million dollars in revenue. So the clause stated in the
event that the promotion revenue is less than the minimum
revenue amount, the parties agree that the property will not
be made available and the company will not be required
to acquire the property. Now, in order to achieve that figure,
it's believed they would have had to have two hundred
thousand people enter the giveaway. Now, in reality, only around

(17:43):
seven thousand people did, and this is despite Roxy having
two hundred and sixty eight thousand Instagram followers, So you
can see why she was really thrashing the promotion of
this competition because she appeared on the Carl and Jackie
O Show, she was on morning shows, she was constantly
on her Instagram story talking about this competition. Well, it's
interesting you bring up that publicity to a Sophie, because
the court found that this major contract stipulation was not

(18:06):
publicly disclosed during the promotion, nor was it listed on
the competition's formal terms and conditions on the Roxy's bootcamp website,
and in her application to the court, Roxy claimed it
was this subclause that made her want to stop the promotion. However,
Roxy's lawyer conceded in court that a series of interviews
that she did about the giveaway may have been deceptive

(18:29):
and misleading due to the fact that she did not
publicly disclose this major contract stipulation, and then, when asked
why the subclause was omitted, Roxy's lawyer agreed it should
have been included and confirmed that Roxy had seen the
terms and conditions and had signed the promotions agreement in
which the clause was stipulated. Her lawyer said, I'm not
looking to absolve miss Jizanko. He went on to argue, though,

(18:51):
that it appeared to be a case where all three
shareholders either didn't understand the promotion or it was convenient
for them not to do so. Now, one of the
season's Roxy claims she sought the appointment of provisional Liquid
datas was due to allegations that her business partners had
engaged in misleading conduct over their handling of the promotion.

(19:12):
It is important to note that her business partners deny
any wrongdoing in court. The judge asked Roxy's lawyers if
the same could be said about her actions. The judge said,
I thought in your submission there was a flavor that
mister Zenko wanted the company to have external controllers in
because other people were misleading and deceptive in the way

(19:32):
which the promotion was being run. Roxy's lawyer responded yes.
The judge then said, do you accept that your client
has been effectively conducting herself in the same way that
she's criticized others, and her lawyer replied for a few
days yes. Very interesting. Now, in terms of this refund process,

(19:53):
Roxy has confirmed that she still is standing by her
offer to refund customers and as a result, she will
be out of pocket nearly seven hundred thousand dollars. She
claims that she has set aside the money with her lawyers.
She also shared a link to her website where entrants
can apply for their refund. The timing of this debacle
could not be worse because Roxy has just celebrated her

(20:15):
forty fourth birthday in Singapore over the weekend, and her husband,
Oliver Curtis, hosted a very lavish surprise birthday dinner for her,
flying in all of her closes, family and friends from
back home in Sydney. If I was Roxy, I probably
would have kept this event offline. It wasn't a good
look because she was posting all of these Instagram stories

(20:35):
of her dining out on caviat and champagne. As you said,
it looked very lavish and I don't think the people
that entered this competition who were waiting on a refund
probably would appreciate seeing this. Sophia and Beg has been
accused of bulling her ex after jumping on a viral
TikTok trend on the weekend. The TikToker, more commonly known
as Sofa Dofa, uploaded a video of her dancing with

(20:59):
the caption I have my own business, dreamcar, investment, property,
and it's probably because I don't have to pay for
everything for you anymore. It didn't take long for her
one point three million followers to twig that she appeared
to be taking aim at her ex boyfriend Jordan. This
video has since been deleted. Yeah, and Jordan has hit

(21:20):
back with his own TikTok so. In it, he wrote,
using your platform for good and then put across next
to it. He then followed up with using your platform
to talk about others slash put someone else down who
you simply just didn't work with, and then put a
tick next to it. He also continued writing, honestly ridiculous
how long these comments slash videos have gone on for

(21:40):
without me saying anything. It's a form of online bullying
and you need to be called out for it. Be
a good role model for your millions of young followers.
Please leave me alone. Thank you. Hashtag don't be a
bully Now. This is where things got even more interesting,
because Sophia's ex best friend doesn't that sound so dramatic?
And fellow tikdogger Sammy Googan entered the chat now under

(22:02):
Jordan's video, she wrote, people know how much of a
good human you are, Jordan. This was a controversial move
considering Sammy has long been accused of hooking up with
Jordan Now. She did publicly deny those rumors at the
start of this year, so she said it was laughable
and that she was friends with Jordan before she was
friends with Sophia. However, it's not a good look because

(22:24):
she did go on to confirm that she's no longer
friends with Sophia, but has nothing but love and respect
for her and doesn't think she's a bad person. Now.
Sophia wasn't having any of it. She responded to Sammy's
comment on Jordan's video, writing, don't forget when we went
to dinner when I first moved to Melbourne, you said
don't date him. Everyone in Melbourne doesn't like him. She

(22:47):
also replied to another comment under the video, saying, funny
how they're commenting when they're the ones telling me I
shouldn't go anywhere near him because he's trouble. Oh, this
is all very high school now. Fans were quick to
also point out that Sammy participated in the same TikTok
trend with her ex, Caleb palter So. A while ago,

(23:09):
she shared a video about her ex with the caption
how it feels to wake up every day only responsible
for yourself and not a twenty something year old man
child who mistakes you for his mother and Kate, while
you said that this is very high school as a
thirty five year old, I'm living for this drama. I
think that there should be more of this drama online. Yeah,
exactly Air, You're dirty laundry now. Sophia went even more

(23:31):
rogue because she responded to the drama in a private
Facebook forum. In a thread detailing the event, she wrote,
he's all about hashtag don't bully when I have whole
notes lists on my phone from the relationship of fucked
shit he did to me, So if he wants to
act like the victim, I'll have no regrets saying all
of it. She then went on to say that, upon reflection,

(23:52):
she should have worded the caption differently, as it wasn't
her intention to look like she was flaunting her wealth.
She argued that she didn't name her ex and didn't
think it would cause astir sing as it's a trend
everyone is doing. She added, but funny how all his
friends in inverted commas are commenting when they were the
one saying stay away and warning me lol, but everyone

(24:12):
is saying I'm still obsessed. Trust me. I'd rather be
single for the rest of my life than go near
that again. It's a trend about X's so I hopped on.
People always say influencers lose their personality and become so boring.
And it's because the second we do anything besides stand
there and lip sync, we get fucked for it. So
back to lip syncing and fit checks. I go, no
more trends for me. She does have a very good point,

(24:35):
because I think people really love following along this type
of drama. But what generally happens is that people begin
to take it too far and start piling on an individual.
They don't just take the drama for what it is
as a bit of fun, yeah, and it becomes an
opportunity for people to jump in and try and get
their own views and create their own engagement by putting

(24:56):
their two cents worth into it. I actually don't even
think that Sophia posted this to create engagement. I just
think it's a reflection on her age. I can see
why Sophia would find it so triggering to see her
ex friend Sammy jumping to the defense of her ex boyfriend,
particularly when there seems to be so much history between
them all. Yeah, I mean, it has been a very

(25:17):
big week for Sophia. She is providing the entertainment and
I like to pat her on the back for that.
Let's get into our highs and lows of the week.
I'll start min off with a low. This is my
last podcast recording for a while. So Amy and Sophie
have been begging me to take maternity leave, and I'm
finally at a point where i can't actually push it
any further. So I'm very sad that this is the

(25:39):
last podcast recording because it's the podcast is like my baby,
my first baby, and I'm finding it really hard to
let go of control. I don't want people to fret
because I think that you probably are a bit of
a favorite on here because you always say how it
is you are going to be back, though, Oh definitely.
I'll be pushing to come back as soon as I
possibly can. It's just really hard to know what life
with a newborn will be like. But I will be

(26:01):
roping in a lot of babysitters, so I hopefully won't
be missing from too many podcasts recording. I'm actually nervous
to do it without UK because I know that you'll
be listening. I can just tell that when you're up
early in the morning doing those feeds, you'll probably be
catching up on the podcast and be writing down a
little list of things that we've said wrong or things
that you're not happy about. Yes, I will be keeping

(26:21):
a close eye on it to ensure that the quality
control is there. As for my high of the week,
I actually have two small highs. One is the fifteen
dollar and Co slippers that I brought from Kmart. I
snapchatted you last night saying that I was so pleased
with my purchase. There are a ripoff of the ugs,
and what I like most about them is that they're
actually not made from sheep skin, because being vegetarian, I

(26:41):
feel guilty wearing leather. My partner for probably four years,
every winter he bought me quite an expensive pair of
rug boots which was that UGS brand, and every year
I somehow destroyed them. I would get mold in them,
I'd leave them outside, I'd leave them too close to
my shower. Given up so my feet are very cold
at the moment, so I'm gonna have to invest in

(27:03):
some fifteen dollar ones. Oh they're so comfortable. My other
little bit of a high is that I had you
and your partner and also mum and dad over the
other day and as you were leaving, Brandon made a
comment about, oh, you know, upcoming family dinners, the baby
will be there, and he made a comment to my
mum saying, oh, don't worry. At least Kate will provide

(27:24):
the baby it's food. And you chimed in and said,
that's a bit unfair. Why can't rese help with the
baby's food. Well, I was trying to be very feminist
and say that you shouldn't be the one just providing
all of the food and organizing the baby's food. But
I quickly discovered that babies don't eat food. Yeah, so
Sophie wasn't aware that babies actually drink milk and that

(27:46):
they don't eat solidung. I knew. I knew that they
drink milk, I didn't know that that's all they had. Yeah,
So it was pretty funny because you were trying to
pay Brandon out, but then it backfired very quickly. On you.
I mean that just blew my mind. I was wondering
why you weren't stressing thinking about, Oh my god, what
am I going to be? I mean, I didn't think
that the baby sat down for a full course meal,
but I just thought, perhaps you purade some vegetables and

(28:10):
fruit and stuff. I don't know, that's not for a while.
I mean, I think I would actually prefer to just
purate food than having to breastfeed for every single meal.
I think that's going to be time quite time consumer. Yeah. Well,
I think I'm going to take that as my low
of the week because that was rather embarrassing. My high
of the week is that Love Island UK is back
and I was a little bit apprehensive watching the first

(28:32):
episode because I really loved the all star series that
played at the beginning of the year. I liked that
the old characters were back. You felt nostalgic towards them,
and I liked having a cast I was familiar with.
And I was worried that I wouldn't like this bunch
of twenty four year olds because the majority of them
are twenty four, even though it's being reported that they

(28:53):
look a lot older. They have clopped a lot of
flak for looking older. Apparently there's a lot of ages.
In lot of ages, I mean, I'm quite offended because
everyone's like, look thirty five, as if that's the biggest
insult in the world. Yeah, but then poor Joey s
six is copying it, saying that he looks ancient. Everyone's like,
Louis's close to forty, he's thirty three. Anyway, my high
is that this season has been so dramatic so far.

(29:17):
Saffron Barker's best friend Harriet is in there. She is
not disappointed she is carrying that show. I mean, I
wouldn't say she's my favorite contestant on there, but she's
bringing a lot of the drama. Yeah. To be honest,
she hasn't come across as very likable, but I'm very
happy that she's there because she has been involved in
a bunch of different love triangles. She's entertaining. I saw

(29:41):
actually show the Cheap Seats. You probably don't know because
he's not much free to air TV, but that they
were calling her Varuka Salt because in an entrue video
she's like mad dad brings me a coffee in the
morning and he turns my car around that is spot on.
I would highly recommend people going and checking out Love
Island UK though. It is the perfect show to watch
now that it's winter, because I'm finding myself vicariously living

(30:04):
through the contestants on there. I think that is all
we have time for. Kate. I'm so sad that you
won't be joining us for the next couple of episodes,
but it is going to be such an exciting time
in the next couple of weeks. Yes, it will be.
I am sad as well. I have promised Reese that
this is my last day of work because he keeps
telling me to rest. This podcast was recorded on the
traditional land of the Ghana people of the Adelaide Planes.

We pay respect to Elder's past and present, and if
you do enjoy the show and want extra content, we
drop a bonus episode every Thursday with extra influencer topics.
My favorite segment from the Subs episode this week was
how a brand has ripped off book Hogan's iconic yellow
bridesnad dresses, so her brand Lemone designed them and randomly

(30:49):
she noticed that this brand has taken one of her photos.
They have edited different faces onto the bridesmaids, just so
that they can try and copy the dresses. Yes, we
do go into depth on that, plus a bunch of
other influencer topics
