the code Outspoken for fifteen percent off. That's O U
T SPO k En. Hello and welcome to Outspoken. You're
dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture news twice
a week. I'm Kate Torbert and I'm joined by my
sisters and journalists Amy and Sophie. On today's show, the
disgusting headline, clickbaiting, Molly May's endemitriosis, developments in Villa Tami,
(00:44):
and can your teaching career survive being on Maths? But first, Sophie,
you have a story that you've been waiting to tell
me on Mike, I'm very intrigued. Well, it was pretty
funny because Amy and I were filming at the Women
in Music conference in Adelaide, and I was basically Amy's assistant.
I was checking the audio for her. I was running
(01:05):
around getting stuff that she'd forgotten at home and anyway.
So she asked me to go up and put a
microphone on the stage. And I'd done this about three
times already, and she wanted me to test the microphone.
So I'd be like one two one two. And it's
funny because when we record the podcast and tensions are
quite high, Amy will say into the microphone bullsack to
(01:27):
try and test the audio. She got bullsack, bullsack, one
two three. Testing No, I will say like Harry balls,
Harry bullsack. So I went up onto the stage for
the third time to test the microphone, and I was
about to say Harry bullsack. Thank god, I actually just
said one two three, and all of the microphones were
on in the room, so not just our little microphone,
(01:49):
but everyone in the crowd heard me and looked up
from their breakfast they were eating, and I just froze.
I just started getting these drips of sweat under my arms.
It could have been a lot.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I was pretty filmiating. I wish I was filming. It
was bloody hilarious.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Oh he does his thing lately, right, It's called sneaky Nuts.
Basically what it is is Knight gets his nuts out
in the back of a photo, but like in the
sneak you a I show her so here he is
with Murma Mates.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
This week, Molly Mayheig bravely opened up about her journey
with endometriosis. In a seventeen minute YouTube video. The former
Love Island star shared how she underwent surgery to try
and resolve the excruciating pain she experiences due to the disorder. However,
rather than commending the twenty two year old for raising
much needed awareness for endometriosis, The Sun decided to turn
(02:38):
the story into clickbait about the influencer's sex life. Now, Sophie,
before we get into the horrendous coverage, are you able
to fill us in about what Molly said on YouTube? Well,
Molly started by explaining that she's been putting off filming
the video because she's really nervous and scared about saying
the wrong thing. She also said that in the past
she's been accused by critics of trying to make endometriosis
(02:59):
a trend. I think that's really awful because can you
imagine going through a severe illness like this and basically
being accused of only talking about it to gain more
followers and more attention. If anything, her talking about it
and normalizing it and actually, potentially, as I said, making
it a cool thing is only a positive thing in
my mind exactly, And Molly did say that she felt
(03:21):
like the time was right to talk about it because
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. Now, Molly told followers about
her journey with the illness. She said that she first
started experiencing symptoms at the age of fifteen, and her
first symptom was excruciating periods. She said that there's been
times when the pain has been so intense she has
nearly called herself an ambulance, and she's been fearful she
(03:44):
wouldn't wake up the next day. She also said that
her manager friend previously had to block out the weeks
in her calendar where she would get her period, as
she would be in so much pain that she couldn't work.
Molly then went on to say that her second symptom
is painful sex. She said that it was this symptom
which pushed her into getting treatment because not only did
she want to do it for herself, but also her
(04:04):
partner Tommy. Molly said her sex life basically became nonexistent
because the pain was so excruciating, and it led her
to have a low sex drive. Molly explained that five
months ago she had to get a laparoscopy to try
and treat her symptoms. Now, while the surgery has helped
her painful periods to a certain extent, the painful sex
is still an ongoing issue. She said she is seeking
(04:26):
further help from a specialist gynecologist and had recently undergone
a blood test and Mr I Now. Followers also asked
how Tommy has been throughout the journey, and Molly said
that she couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend. She said,
He's been absolutely incredible, so understanding and so caring.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Now, Kay, I have been.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Really surprised at the way this story has been covered.
Can you tell us more so? I first came across
this story on Snapchat and my stomach dropped when I
saw the headline. It read, Molly may Haig opens up
about having excruciating sex with Tommy Fury. This line was
accompanied by a picture of Molly all glammed up next
to an image of her and Tommy in bed together. Now,
(05:06):
I hadn't watched Molly's YouTube video yet, but I already
knew she had endometriosis, so I figured out this was
a reference to it. So, for those who don't know,
endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining
of your uterus is found elsewhere in your body, and
while it isn't fatal, it can cause a lifetime of
debilitating chronic pain, heavy periods, painful sex, and infertility. So
(05:28):
the fact that Sun tried to make it into a
salacious clickbait story really pissed me off. And at the
end of the day, they're trying to profit off a
twenty two year old's pain, And I feel like Molly
may should be being commended for being so open about
the fact that painful sex is one of the symptoms
she is suffering from, rather than the media trying to
turn it into some sort of titillating insight into Molly
(05:50):
and Tommy's sex life. And I really feel like the
undertone of this article was poor Tommy having sex withheld
from him. It must be so hard for him the relationship,
and it didn't seem to be a care for the
poor woman who is in excruciating pain who is unable
to also have a satisfying sex life. Also, the media,
we're acting like this is so rare, when it is
(06:13):
estimated that one hundred and seventy six million women around
the world suffer from endometriosis. And I feel like there
would have been so many women who would have felt
so seen by Molly May speaking about having painful sex,
because it is such a taboo to talk about these
sort of things. And I really hope it doesn't stop
more women from talking about their experiences because they then
(06:34):
may feel that they're going to be shamed by the
media or that their private sex life is going to
be put out there for discussion. And like, I just
felt like this coverage was wrong on so many levels
because Molly May, as you said earlier, so is using
her massive platform to raise awareness for endometriosis, and she
said that she wants to unite women and ensure that
they don't feel alone in their suffering. And while we
(06:54):
may see awareness for endometriosis growing in the last couple
of years, we do need to keep this momentum going
because governments around the world need to feel the pressure
to put funding into research resources and medical attention for endometriosis.
This is a condition that takes years for doctors to recognize.
There was an inquiry in the UK which found that
over half of women had to visit their doctors more
(07:16):
than ten times before being diagnosed, and during the process
of trying to find a diagnosis, most women are told
that their pain is just a normal part of womanhood
and having your period.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
But it's not.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
And this normalization of these extremely painful symptoms makes it
far less likely for women experiencing these symptoms to reach
out for help, which.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Is just so sad it really is.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
And on a local front, there has been some good
news for Australian women living with endometriosis because the government
announced a fifty eight million dollar commitment to support eight
hundred thousand women living with the disorder. So the funding
is set to be spent building treatment centers, improving telehealth
services and medicare rebated MRI scans, so more than a
(07:58):
quarter of the funding will go towards establishing new specialist
endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics in each state and territory,
while more than five million will go to endometriosis research. Interestingly,
it appears scott Morrison has a vested interest in the illness,
as the announcement coincided with his wife Jenny opening up
in an interview with The Daily Telegraph about her struggles
(08:18):
with endometriosis. And while there are some commentary around SCOMO
only caring about things once Jenny tells him to, which,
let's be honest, is pretty valid, it's hard to view
this decision as anything but positive. I personally felt the
criticism of Scomo was a little unfair because this announcement
was huge for the treatment of endometriosis and also the
(08:39):
research into it. And I think that clearly what they
were trying to do and what they try and do
in journalism all the time, is put someone forward to
speak about an illness they have. Of course it happened
to be Jenny Morrison, but I thought it was really
great because Jenny Morrison was on one of the morning
shows talking about her periods and how it affected her,
and it was just so refreshing to see the Prime
(08:59):
minis wife talking about things like periods. The thing is,
it is great that Jenny was able to share her
story and it did get media attention. However, I think
people are just sick to death of Scomo rolling out
Jenny for all of his pr opportunities, or people only
feel like he cares when it's something that impacts Jenny's life.
And anyone who's looking to follow influencers who share their
experiences with endometriosis, if you're not wanting to follow Jenny,
(09:21):
I would highly suggest giving Sarah Jane Stevens a follow.
And we're going to start a thread in our Facebook
community where people can list any other influences they follow
or any other resources out there.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Oh my gosh, these.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
What to do?
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Say less?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
So if I feel like you're becoming the official Barley
correspondent closely monitoring the developments in Mitch Third and Talia
s Gaines's breakup.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
What is the latest?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Oh, there's just been so much going on and I
am glad to be the official correspondent on this matter.
So to kick us off, Mitch and now on Instagram
that he arrived in Villa Tarmi and this is of
course the contentious villa that he part owns with ex
girlfriend Talia Scaines, and ahead of his arrival he said
he hadn't yet a loaded the land owners that he
was arriving, which I found kind of interesting because it
(10:15):
sounds like they're coming to some decision about the villa.
He also explained that Villa Tarmi has been taken off
Airbnb and they are working to get.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
It back up there now.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Mitch shared several Instagram stories at the villa, and it's
safe to say it has been kept in immaculate condition
during COVID and I was really worried that he'd rock
up and the pool would be green, or all of
the plants would be overgrown, but they obviously have taken
really good care of it. Maybe it was one of
those like you know when your parents are about to
come home and they've been away. Maybe it was like
a quick job to quickly clean it up before he
(10:45):
got there.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
You never know.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Well. On his Instagram stories, Mitch then went on to
explain that he is staying in Villa Tarmi for the
rest of his trip, and then ominously he said he
will explain everything about the villa when the time is right,
and this was followed by a frownie face emoji. So
I'm really interested to hear what is being said. Well,
it's rather interesting because last week Tarlia shared what she
(11:09):
described as a cheeky Barley throwback photo and explain that
she will be in Bali for the first time in
two years. So if our maths is correct, she should
be arriving in Barley this coming Monday. So this means
that Mitch and Talia will both be in Bally at
the same time. Now, I would assume that this isn't
a coincidence. I feel like Mitch and Taralia must be
(11:29):
meeting up at Villa Tami to discuss the future.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Of the villa.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
As we touched on a few weeks ago, Tarlia mentioned
in a YouTube video that she's seeking advice from a
lawyer on a matter. Now, she didn't confirm what she
was meeting with the lawyer about, but one could assume
it's about the assets she and Mitch owned together. And
I'm really interested to see who Talia is traveling with
because she's in a new relationship with Jake Serjano and
(11:53):
I feel like it could be quite an awkward or
frosty meeting if the new partner is involved well. Interestingly,
Which also announced that the clothing brand Third Fixed Collection,
which he previously owned with Talia Skeins, has been rebranded
to Authentic Collection. So the new brand is described as
a brand dedicated to quality garments with a holistic aura,
style and effortless call. So what do you guys think
(12:17):
of the new name? I don't like the name. I
feel like it's one of those names where clearly people
have sat around in a meeting and they've said, what
do we want our brand to be? Like, what do
we want people to think of the brand? And people
have said, oh, authentic, and then they haven't come up
with a name that actually kind of applies to that.
They've just been lazy and said, oh, let's just slap authentic.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
I'm surprised that that name's available, to be honest.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeh to me, it seemed a little bit inauthentic because,
as you were saying, Sophie, everyone now is pushing this
authenticity online, so it seems to be playing into this trend.
And I was surprised to see him promoting female's garments
like activewear and loungewear, because it seems like it made
more sense when he had Talia with him, because they
were obviously pushing it to her audience. However, I don't
(13:00):
know if Mitch's audience are predominantly females anymore. I don't
know about you guys, but whenever I hear the word
collection at the end of a brand name, it just
seems a bit tacky as well. It's always influencers who
have collections, do you know. I've got to say though,
the Third Fix lounge wear that actually looked so comfy. Yeah,
but it just looked like you run of the mill
loungewear that they just slapped the logo, which I suppose
(13:22):
most influencers and brands do do. I just can't imagine
saying to someone, oh what Active where are you in
and they're like authentic, you know what I mean. I
know it's not like, oh yeah, chuck my Laurna Jane's
on on my lululemondoe. It's just not a very good name.
I mean, I'm unsure whether it's going to have the
success of Third Fix because Talia isn't involved, because let's
be honest, she was selling that Active where herself. I
(13:44):
do think it is good that they rebranded, because I
think there was some confusion with the drink bottle name
also being Third Fix, and full credit to Mitch there.
I think we've spoken about it a number of times.
I think the drink bottles are a really good product
that he has, so it will be interesting to see
how he goes with the new color. Now. I have
to say I have really been enjoying Mitch's updates about
how Barley is traveling since the pandemic, and it's quite
(14:07):
interesting because he's been sharing a lot of videos showing
that can Goo is absolutely pumping. He said that every cafe,
restaurant and Paul club is packed as if COVID never existed. However,
in Semenyac, where we all stayed and absolutely loved, is
a different story. So he showed that Motel Mexicola, Mississippi's
strawberry fields and also the main road in Semenyak are
(14:29):
all closed and as the self elected King of Bally,
he did say though that he thinks that things will
return to normal in Semenyak in two to three weeks,
and he showed that there was a new huge beach
club being built right next door to Finn. So it's
great to see that Barley is still buzzing and things
are set to hopefully get back to normal. Now, those
(14:49):
who are wanting to go to Barli, you may actually
run into mitchwel you're there, because he has said that
he wants to live in Ballei for three months of
the year.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
I mean that's pretty fair. If he is the King
of Balley.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
That would be nice, wouldn't that. I mean the humidity though,
that would get to me.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Now I'd go Penang.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yeah, sorry, Panang for twelve months of the year. But
have you seen his instant stories.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
He's been filming himself while on his scooter. Really no helmet.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I really wasn't surprised about this because he constantly films
himself driving in the car on the Gold Coast. But
it is just so dangerous. You hear of so many
horror stories in Bali of people having accidents on scooters,
let alone when their concentration is taken completely off the
road and onto their phone. So that's really disappointing to see.
And if you're listening, Mitch, the King of Bali, please
(15:37):
stay safe. We enjoy your content, so we don't want
you to get killed on the road that phone away.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
When you're on your scooter.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Oh miss, this is.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
The last start I prayed.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Wake up.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
You go to a pool car three cloths Barba.
Speaker 1 (16:01):

Speaker 4 (17:16):
I know what everyone's gonna say, but we're buying another
knotsack aka hairless kitten and we're calling him Fanny.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
What else would I be calling him anyway? Jake or Max?
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Fuck noo.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
I feel like we're covering a lot of misleading headlines today,
and I have to say my jaw hit the floor
when the Daily Mail seemingly broke news about Mikayla Tester
and Adas Paul's supposed cheating scandal. Well, I sent this
to you, Sophie, because I knew you were heavily invested
now in Paul's lives. Well, for those who haven't seen it,
the headline read, Ozzie influenced a couple. Mikayla Tester and
(17:50):
Adas Paul are rocked by a cheating scandal as they
both admit to being unfaithful.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
That's a good clickbait headline. Oh the best.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Now, reading that headline, one would assume that Mikayla and
Adis had cheated on one another and perhaps things were
over between the two of them. However, the article is
actually about the fact that Adis and Michayla admitted that
they cheated on their exes when they first started dating.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
So in a Q and A, a follower asked Mikayla,
so you basically.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Cheated on your exes with each other, to which she
simply responded yes. Now. I do have to take my
hat off to the journal who wrote this story, because
there's a lot of skill involved in turning a one
word response into a page long story that people want
to click on. So I mean jokes aside. I really
think it's interesting to take a look at the media's
(18:38):
push for influencer content. For instance, the Daily Telegraph, which
is a really well respected publication, is starting to report
more and more on influences and it really is because
that is what young people want to hear about. That
is what is generating clicks, and it seems like the
media is finally becoming aware of the power and celebrity
of influencers, particularly in a where we don't really have
(19:01):
many celebrities.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
To speak of.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
I'm not really surprised because, as you say, Sophie, they
are the new generation's celebrity. So I think we're going
to see more and more mainstream content on influences and
we can I go to haikes, don't you say that?
This week, Olivia Fraser revealed she has lost her job
as a teaching assistant following her controversial stint on Married
(19:23):
at First Sight. Her comments prompted former teacher and Math's
contestant Michael Brunelli to weigh in, Amy, can you tell
us what happened? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:32):
So, Olivia made the announcement.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
On radio this week, and she has been in hot
water with Math's viewers following the show's much hyped nude
photo scandal. And this is where Olivia shared a nude
photo of popular contestant Dominica from her Only Fans account
with fellow contestants. Speaking to hughsey Ed and Aaron on
the TODAYFM show, Olivia said she felt like a shell
of a person and that the last couple of weeks
(19:55):
had been hell. She also revealed she now regrets the
incident with Dominica and said, you've taken herself off social
media and doesn't think she'll return in the foreseeable future, which,
to be honest, I think that's a very good idea.
She also told the radio host that she feels more
hated than Vladimir Putin right now in Australia. What do
you think of the comments? So because a lot of
(20:15):
people are saying those comments are ridiculous. Well, I think
the reason she's making that statement is because people created
a petition to go to the e Commissioner about those
photos that she had shared around and basically that petition
got more signatures on it than a petition.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
About the war in Ukraine.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
See, there's been debate about whether that's actually factually correct
because people said, no, the other petition actually got way
more signature. Yeah, but I mean a similar amount of signature.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah, But I mean.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
The thing is I can actually see where she's coming from,
because Math's is the most popular show in Australia.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Right now, and the hate coming for her is intense.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
I actually feel like the fact that so many awful
things have been going on in the world lately is
part of the reason why so many people are invested
in Maths this year, and potentially why this incident has
got so much attention because people want to switch off
to something that they think is sugary, or people want
to take action against something that they think is unfair. Now,
(21:13):
as you touched on, so if, Olivia announced that she
had lost her job as a teaching assistant, and this
comes off the back of another change dot org petition
which was entitled remove Olivia Fraser from teaching. So the
news of her job loss comes after Olivia was signed
by celebrity agent Max Markson. And according to Yahoo, a
friend of Olivia's told the publication that Olivia knows she
(21:36):
can't go back into teaching for a while, but he's
being told she can make much more money going down
the influencer route with her new management. Would you guys
think of Olivia potentially being a successful influencer because I
don't know if I can see it working for her. Well.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
I feel like a lot of reality.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
TV contestants have made a successful career for themselves off
the back of being a villain on a TV show.
I mean, you have to look at Abby Chatfield, who
has forged an incredible career for herself since she has
her own radio show. She's probably one of Australia's biggest influences.
She has a successful podcast, then you've got to look
at Jessica Pow. She was also a villain on Maths
(22:13):
and she's made a very lucrative career for herself on OnlyFans.
I think the key difference here, though, is that Olivia
has potentially done something that's against the law by circulating
this photograph around. She has appeared to slut shame Dominica,
and I think that that sort of behavior you can't
really return from it.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Let's be honest.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Bryce's behavior last year on Maths I think was just
as appalling as Olivia's, and we haven't really seen him
gain much success off the show.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I'm sure he's got a few thous radio show or something.
I don't think radio at all.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
I think he's probably made a little bit of money
through New Idea or some of those magazines selling photos
of his twins on there, but he really hasn't done
that much. I highly doubt that there are going to
be any big brands that are jumping to align themselves
with Olivia because the backlash has been so severe, and
I suppose the fear for brands is we've seen fans
(23:07):
of Maths start petitions to get Olivia fired from her job.
What would they do to a brand who chooses to
align themselves with her. They will go to that inbox.
They will slam that brand. So I can't see anybody
jumping on board. I would be I would be signing
on Dominica.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Oh yeah, she will be.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Probably the biggest influencer to come from this show. It's
also quite interesting because I did read somewhere that Olivia
was supposed to have some sort of appearance that she
was going to, but that got canceled at the last minute.
I think because they were worried about her safety. Well.
The other interesting thing is Olivia went on radio and
said that she doesn't think she's going to return to
social media, So I'm a bit confused how she's going
(23:48):
to be making money without a social media account. What's
interesting that Max Markson is her new manager, because he
is known for taking on controversial characters, so it'll be interesting.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
To see what he plans now.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Former teacher and Maths contestant Michael Brunelli has taken to
TikTok to reveal some juicy details about his experience with
the Education Department. Following his stint on maths and whether
he thought Olivia had any hopes of getting a teaching
job in the future.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Let's have a listen to what he had to say.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
All right, well, Olivia struggle to get a job in
teaching us she comes off Maths. In my own experience,
the Department of Education is super super strict. Before I
went on Maths, they told me no uncertain terms. If
I do anything wrong, anything disrespectful, I'll be bringing the
department into disrepute and I would struggle to keep my job. Thankfully,
I was fine, but when I came off the show,
there was one thing that got me in trouble, and
(24:39):
it was this photo that Martha posted in the bath.
It has half of my butt check in it. Basically,
the Department of Education told my boss's boss and then
my boss, and then I had to have a meeting
with my principal, and in that meeting, I got a
warning and had to write an email apologizing for the
photo that Martha posted that I didn't even post, and
that it wouldn't happen again. And so for that is
(25:00):
what ticks them off. I don't know how Olivia's going
to get a job maybe, just maybe she could apologize
and this would all blow over.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
To be honest, I'm not surprised Michael got in trouble
for the bum cheek Instagram pos because the Education Department.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Has to be so careful.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
It actually reminds me of all the publicity that was
around UK Love Island contestant Hugo Hammond, who was also
a teacher, and there was a lot of discussion that
he would never be able to get a job following
his appearance and also his sex confession on Love Island.
And I mean at the moment he hasn't actually returned
as a teacher, but he's now become a disability advocate
(25:39):
and he's working with some really important causes. So because
he actually had quite a good image on the show
coming out of it, I think potentially he would be
allowed to work as a teacher again.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah, I mean maybe in ten years.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Let's be honest, everybody forgets about contestants who were on
reality TV.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Oh I can't even remember from two years ago who
was on.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
I do think though, it is a good warning for
want to be reality TV contestants that are thinking about
going on a show like Maths because it is clear
that your actions on these reality shows do have consequences
after the show ends. That being said, I'm super confused
because I feel like most people go on a reality
show so they don't have to go back to their
everyday job. So I would have been really interested to
(26:22):
hear candidly from Olivia what she actually had planned.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
To do after the show.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
I actually think that Olivia may have gone on the
show to genuinely meet somebody, because if you think back
to episode one, she spoke about how she was her
father's care.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
For years and how she was never able to go
out and meet anybody.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
There has been a lot of talk, however, that Olivia
has been engaged twice before.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
I'm not sure whether this is true or not, but
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
I do actually think that someone like her went on
the show to find love, which is rare on the
show because most people just go on for a social
media following. I can kind of sense the conversation is
changing a little bit when it comes to it Alibya,
because there are a number of large publications that have
been condemning the terrible trolling she's been receiving and also
trying to humanize her. A little bit more, which is
(27:09):
really important. And I think the fact that she can
now come out and speak on radio and give her
side of things it definitely does help. So it will
be really interesting to see if the public does give
her some sort of redemption as the conversation does start
to change a little bit.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
I highly doubt it, but we'll wait and see.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Well, I think that's all we've got time for today.
