Episode Summary:

In this episode, we dive into the concept of "having it all" and challenge the societal expectations that often dictate what success and fulfillment should look like—especially for Black women.

I share my journey of redefining what it means to truly "have it all," exploring how our desires, beliefs, and personal definitions shape our paths to joy and pleasure.

Whether you're a high-achieving, Type-A perfectionist or someone just beginning to question what fulfillment means for you, this episode will help you start rethinking and reclaiming your own narrative.

Stay tuned until the end for a special sneak peek of *Owning Pleasure as a Black Woman XXX*!

Key Takeaways:

1. Question the “Can’t Have It All” Myth: Natasha challenges listeners to ask why they’ve accepted limits placed by others and to take back control of defining their desires.

2. Shift the Focus to You: "Having it all" isn’t about material success for everyone. Natasha shares how her priorities shifted from external markers of success to internal peace, balance, and connection.

3. Uncover What You Truly Want: Through practices like journaling, meditation, and dance, Natasha found clarity on her desires and shares how you can, too.

4. It’s Okay for Desires to Evolve: Your vision of “having it all” can—and should—change as you grow. Stay curious and flexible as you uncover new aspirations.

5. Life Isn’t Either-Or: Why settle for just one flavor of ice cream when you can try them all? Natasha encourages embracing abundance in all its forms.

I'm very curious about it.
I like to read about it.
I like to watch it.
What would it be like to be a part of?
A part of it.
So I went to figure out whatmy kink persona would be.

(29:43):
It would be bratty, very, very bratty, spoiled, um, on the sub side and
haven't quite figured out my dom personabecause I, I think I would be a switch.
So the right person wouldget me as a submissive.
Everyone else can get me as adom because the love of power

Well, I went to this workshop.
Not only did I go on this workshop, but someone was in the hall
because there's loads of vendors.
There was a vendor that wasdoing micro dosing mushrooms.

That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
