Marianne Hogan est de retour sur le podcast, juste avant de prendre le départ de la mythique Diagonale des Fous sur l’île de La Réunion. Six ans après y avoir participé blessée et avoir marché l'épreuve de La Mascareignes (60 km et 3 500 m D+), elle revient pour s’attaquer cette fois à l’épreuve reine du Grand Raid. Les chiffres font froid dans le dos : 175 km et 10 500 m sur un parcours technique et linéaire, à travers jungle, volcans et chemins cahoteux.. Dans l'épisode, on plonge dans sa préparation et son état d’esprit avant la course, après un été passé en Europe. On revient sur son assistance auprès de son amie Camille Bruyas à l’UTMB, sa participation à l’Ultra Spirit (3e en équipe avec Camille et Olivier Gagnon), et les leçons tirées de ses plus récents défis.
