And what is worse, they all look and sound the same.

Do you go with your parents guy, or should you just search it on the web, or ask your colleagues who they use?

It is easy for the consumer to get overwhelmed in such a situation.  

So how does one pick an advisor, and better yet, how can one evaluate a great advisor?

We know not everyone will work with us, and that is A-OK.
