As always here at the Pig andWhistle Inn in Stormwind, I go
through a variety of subjectswith regards to World of
Warcraft.

We will be going over thewolven pre-patch.
We will be going over exactlywhat is happening with it, what
we uh, what is new, what bugsthere are and stuff.
Now, obviously, being in eu, Iget to see the patch.
A day later I actually get towatch NA play it.
So I get to see a lot of thebuggy aspects and get to report

(01:29):
back on them so I can give youguys an idea of what you know
might be breaking in the currentgame, so that you're not
worrying and it's nothing to dowith your PC or add-ons or
anything along them lines.
So let's get started with theknown issues in patch 11.0.
We are now in 11.0.
How crazy is that?

(01:49):
That is 10 expansions after therelease of world of warcraft.
That's maddening to think.
So we have a couple of knownissues with action bars.
They're very simple, um, butessentially action bars two to
eight are unintentionallydisabled on every character to

(02:09):
simply rectify this.
You go into options, gameplay,action bar, um, pre-existing
keybinds and stuff.
It should be re-enabled withthe action bar, they say.
But you know, if you have toredo your keybinds you have to
redo them.
It's nothing too crazy.
New characters level 10 andbelow, spells on the action bar
may not be saved on logout.

(02:31):
The same issue may cause someexisting characters to have all
spells wiped from that actionbar on logout if they do not
create a new loadout.
Very simple, they intend to fixthese as soon as possible.
These are very simple fixes andit shouldn't be causing us any
problems very soon because theywill most likely roll out a hot
fix for it.
So classes, wise, um, these arethe known issues.

(02:56):
This is as of the 23rd of july,so yesterday, obviously, because
na were the first to get it.
We haven't really had thatexperience with EU.
They might have fixed some ofthese in EU, but for death
knights.
Death knights can sometimesonly receive one stack of
festering festamite for thefirst proc of sudden doom after
cast in death coil.

(03:17):
Sudden doom does not cause allepidemics to critically strike
festering scythe, does not gainbenefit from masteryy Dreadblade
and does not grant stacks ofFestering Wound that burst on
creature death and RaiseAbomination Virulent Plague is
only applied once, very simple.
Obviously, I'm not a DK expert,so any DKs out there that

(03:41):
obviously play Unholy will kindof have a more understanding of
this.
For Priest, halo can pullcreatures that are not in combat
with the Priest.
Oh my god, that's the OGStarfall.
I want to be a Priest all of asudden and just use Halo For
Disc.
Rapture does not allow for fullspell queuing casts immediately
after Rapture.
This means that you areactually a little bit nerfed by

using Rapture in pvpcircumstances and for shadow
idol of c'Thun is notfunctioning properly.
Just, you know, one of yourbaseline talents at the very
bottom there just notfunctioning properly.
That's always good for hunters.
You have a few bugs, to say theleast.
Kindling flare can sometimesfail to reveal stealth targets

(04:24):
when players leave its area ofeffect.
Okay, tendon rip, your petability, is not removed by
movement freeing abilities likeblessing of freedom, oh, oh,
okay.
So tendon rip is a slow andwhat we've had problems with.
There's a bug that I reportedon, I think tens of episodes ago

(04:47):
, but essentially, if you applysomething like a physical slow,
like hamstring, and you Blessingof Freedom, the Blessing of
Freedom does not actually removethe hamstring, it just simply
allows you to run at full speed.
But when the Blessing ofFreedom drops, that hamstring,
debuff is still on you and itwill still hinder you after that
freedom.
That this is that sort of umyou know bug.

(05:10):
It's really obnoxious.
Um, serpent sting and windarrows from legacy of the wind
runner are not affected bymarksmanship mastery, which is
kind of important.
Mastery is kind of important.
Whaling arrows granted after 19wind arrows instead of 20, that
must be the easiest bug fix inthe world, surely.

(05:31):
Killer accuracy does notincrease the critical strike
damage of can cancel your rapidfire.
That's kind of a nerf thatfeels bad.

(05:51):
Beast mastery bloodshed cansometimes fail to apply.
Basilisk collar, no idea.
Planking strikes pet damagedoes not scale with primary or
secondary stats, so it hits fora wet noodle exposed flank and
sometimes fail to duplicate thepet's damage.
Spearhead does not increase thecritical strike chance of kill
command okay, very simple, verysimple.

(06:13):
Uh, bugs that can be amendedfor fire mage fires ire, but a
foot tooltip describe.
Description indicates a 2.%gain, even if players have two
points in the talent.
That's just a visual bug, so itwill still give you the I would
imagine 5% gain out of twolevels.

(06:36):
I would imagine so For shamans.
Stone bulwark totem audio andanimation are slightly too loud.

(06:57):
I want to know how slightly tooloud it is.
If it's like bleeding youreardrums, it's going to be quite
funny to some degree.
But yeah, I can understand whythat would be annoying.
Elemental flash of lightning cansometimes fail to reduce the
cooldown of stone.
Bulwark totem and primordialwave.
I still don't know what thisbulwark totem is.
Although you really want toreduce the cooldown of bulwark

(07:20):
totem, isn't it just going todeafen you at this point?
According to the you know bugs,elemental blast from fusion of
elements can incorrectly consumemagma chamber.
Okay, elemental blast fromfusion of elements can trigger
storm frenzy.
Lava beam does not benefit fromstorm frenzy.
Thunderstrike ward cannottrigger from lava beam.

(07:42):
What the hell is thunderstrikeward?
All of these like differenttalents and stuff I'm gonna
really need to look into a bitmore.
Um, restoration spoutingspirits does not properly reduce
healing beyond five targets, soit's op at the moment for raid
content spell.
Queuing lava burst after ahealing surge was incorrectly
consuming master of the elements.

(08:03):
When lava burst is instant cast, oh, okay, that makes sense.
So the way that you do it isthat you're casting healing
surge and halfway through you'redeciding yes, I want to lava
burst.
You spam lava burst and what itshould do is queue up the cast
of it.
Okay, when you get a proc ofyour Master of Elements, it will

(08:25):
make your Lava Burst instant.
What if you didn't want to usethe instant cast, because what
you can do is Lava Burst andthen instant Lava Burst for a
big burst of damage?
Yeah, so it was just using thatup, which shouldn't be a thing.
It is good that they'veactually clocked that.
It's consuming the Master ofElements incorrectly.

(08:46):
For rogues, death from Abovedoes not scale up to seven combo
points.
Kind of a stupid thing to miss,but I think that's an easy
change.
Assassination and Venom's buffpersist for two seconds longer
than the tooltip indicates.
Very simple Ruptures appliedvia indiscriminate carnage will

also apply three serrated bonespikes, even with less than
three spikes prepared.
Oh, that's cool.
I didn't know that they coulddo that.
That's very, very cool.
But that seems very simple toamend as well.
I say it like I can code, I cancode, I can't, but there's some
bugs that are a lot easier tosort of dictate.

(09:30):
It's like oh okay, well, maybethat one's going to be a bit of
a ball like to amend, but someare very simple.
They're just changing numbers,I would imagine, for subtlety.
Free meditation does not benefitShiv, shuriken, toss and
Shuriken Storm.
Premeditation is consumed ifplayers do not open with combo
point generating spells fromstealth.
That's quite funny.

(09:50):
So wait, if you usepremeditation and then you use
an Envenom or an Eviscerate, itwill actually not allow you to,
or it will just take away thecombo points or something.
Oh, that's weird.
I don't even know how thatworks, because does it take away
the combo points before theability actually hits, or is it

(10:11):
just accidentally?
Pressing in venom will meanthat the combo points disappear
off the target?
Because if it's that second one, then yeah, it's a real bad
mistake.
Um, but nonetheless, warriorsBloodletting can cause a mortal
strike.
To apply rend to the targetabove 35%, spell reflection has

a small chance to not properlyreflect spells.
That's quite funny.
That's actually really funny.
The whole purpose of spellreflect is to reflect a spell
and it can't even do that everynow and again.
That's quite good.
Dungeon and raids Abilities maybe missing from the dungeon
journal, while on mythic plusdifficulty for quests there's a

(10:52):
couple quests um to be preparedmay not be visible and archives.
The first disc may not bevisible for your professions and
group management.
And all that and your spellbooks for group management.
Group manager pressing and yourspell books for group manager
Pressing the reset button in thegroup manager UI will cause a
lower error.
Holding down a used markerbutton makes the highlight

(11:16):
disappear.
The remove all button does notwork for unit markers, so you've
got to do that individually.
After the spell book goes fromminimized to maximized, the
click cast setting frame willnot function.
Typing reload in chat willresolve the issue.
It's a workaround at the momentso they'll get to fixing that.
Professions the concentratebutton disappears when selecting

(11:38):
and unselecting fishingreagents.
The patron tab does not honor afilter when switching to other
tabs and back.
Okay, the recraft button isshown after completing an order.
Is that meant to be a thing?
I don't know.
Maybe not after completing anorder actually, because orders

are one-time things.
Okay, it makes sense.
Finishing reagents can now showincreased recipe difficulty.
That's good.
Um, the tracker is missing thegreen check mark.
If the player hides all dungeonand bonus objective trackers
beforehand, the reward frame maydisappear when accepting an
order.
That's quite funny.
The quality preview when usingconcentration may be inaccurate.

Very simple workarounds thereQuest and maps.
Right-clicking on a trackedworld objective may cause a lure
error.
Gossip windows may display theincorrect icon for an in-game
wrapper quest.
These are filler quests,essentially for the main
storyline, if I'm not mistaken,accepted daily quests.

(12:46):
That may show the wrong icon.
The lore book help tip mayappear outside of the log frame.
Okay, the quest objective iconmay still be present after
disabling the quest objectivesmap filter and clicking on the
great vault world map icon maynot open the UI.
Very simple.

(13:06):
And then there's a couple warband ones.
Entering the world on acharacter on a different realm
may result in a blank characterselect screen.
Some account wide reputationsmay not be shown correctly
across all characters.
Very, very simple.
So all of these bugs areobviously because it is a new
expansion and the professionones are because professions are

(13:28):
getting a little bit of anoverhaul.
They did in dragonflight andthey're getting a little bit
more beefed up in the war within, so to speak.
They are getting differentcrafting orders from npcs.
They're getting a differentstat, which is concentration.
I'm not sure what that is yet,but they are getting many
different things, so it's likelythat these will be bugged in
some way.

(13:48):
The spell book is againoverhauled, so you can expect
one bug, maybe two, but if thisis a bug, if this is the bug,
all it is, then that is fine.
That is completely fine andit's nothing to worry about.
With the spell book, it's morethe classes and how they work is
the ones that you want to worryabout.

that are going to affect yourquesting, your mythics, your
raiding, your pvp, etc.
All of that stuff.
So they're the ones that youwant to be worried about
essentially.
But what is in thepre-expansion event?
So you have war bands andexpand the potential this is
what they have to say on it.
Expand the potential of yourworld of warcraft characters

(14:31):
with account, wide progressionacross your battlenet account
regardless of faction, includingshared renown, a war, a warband
bank, achievements, collectionsand more, to help players
continue expanding theircollections and style their
alternate characters to how theywant.
Any character can collect anyitem appearance, regardless of

(14:52):
whether they can equip it or not.
Class tokens from legacy raidsare also war bound and
transferable to your account.
Class specific appearances canonly be collected by the
specific class that one makessense with the warvians arrival.
Upon first logging into worldof warcraft, the warband
conversion process automaticallyenables many of your game's

(15:13):
progression systems to beaccount wide.
Players will not need to loginto each character individually
for all progressions, items etc.
To convert.
However, there may be a shortwait for the system to
completely process your warbandthe first time you log in.
The warband conversion processcan take up to 20 minutes or
longer and, depending on theamount of data being processed,

there could be a login queue.
This makes sense.
So essentially, warbands arewhere you pick four of your
characters that you want to seein your login screen.
These are your four maincharacters.
You know one main, three alts,two mains, two alts, whatever
you want and these warbandsallow transferring items across
your characters.

(15:56):
It is a different login screen.
It is the first different loginscreen we have got since World
of Warcraft's release in 2004.
Since World of Warcraft'srelease in 2004.
Okay, I just want people toremember that, because 20 years
it took for them to change thelogin screen.
That's crazy, isn't it?
That's absolutely amazing and Ithink it's really fun.

(16:19):
I think it's really really good.
I think it looks very good andit looks very cool.
You can do like transmogs.
You can match your transmogsfor the four characters on your
warband screen.
You can do completely crazymogs.
You can do four druids.
You can have four male torrentsthat just take up the entire
screen.
You can have four gnome likelike hunters that take up none

(16:41):
of your screen or something youknow.
You can really make it lookcool.
So with the addition of thepre-patch, we also have sky
riding.
So dragon riding is beenrenamed to sky riding and is now
learned at level 10 instead oflevel 60.
So you get the ability toswitch flight style.
This allows you to switchbetween the tbc flying style and

(17:03):
the dragon riding flying style.
This is a learn at level 20 andcan be located just within the
mount journal.
It takes five seconds toactivate.
I think five seconds a bitoverkill.
I'm not gonna lie.
I think you need at least likethree.
Maybe three is more than enough, um, but allows you to you know
change your preference, whichis really good.
Upon learning sky riding, theskyiding talent tree is now

(17:26):
accessible via a button withinthe mount journal.
The skyriding talent tree hasbeen updated and many talents
are now passive, which is good.
Skyriding glyphs are no longerrequired for the talent tree.
Very simple Druid flight formsis now able to skyride.
This is amazing.
I'm going to really enjoy that.
Journeyman Riding, which is a100% ground mount speed, is now

(17:49):
learned at level 10.
Was level 20.
Okay, apprentice Riding Speed,which is level 60 ground speed,
has been now removed.
Okay, so there's no 60% groundmount anymore, it's just
straight into 100%.
Wow, that's also a big change,because 60% mounts have been a

(18:10):
staple point of World ofWarcraft for 20 years.
Oh, my God, that one's goneunder the radar.
Okay, that's a little bit sadto see it go.
I'm not going to lie.
Expert riding now increasedyour flight speed to 220%.
Was 150%, thank God, and is nowlearned at level 20.
Was level 30 and master ridingis now 420%.

(18:32):
Was 310 and is now learned atlevel 30.
Was 40 now.
The reason that they're changingthis is because with dragon
riding, the speed of the mountsis a lot faster, a hell of a lot
faster.
I think it's like nearly double.
Uh, 420, I think it can go abit crazy.

(18:53):
Um, but to accommodate for thedragon riding speed they
obviously needed to increase theland mass.
But with the land mass beingincreased, those who wanted to
do the normal tbc flying methodwill obviously take longer to
traverse it.
So this is just sort of keepingup with that.
In my honest opinion, now we getvisions of Azeroth as well.

(19:17):
So strange visions are callingto the heroes of Azeroth.
Players who have reached level70 and have completed the final
chapter of the dragonflightquest line will be called to
take their next steps into thestory leading into the war
within, and the first part iscalled visions of azeroth.
We don't know much about it,but we know that there's going
to be bosses, there's going tobe transmog, there's going to be

(19:38):
stuff like that.
So this is all released nextweek the pre-patch event.
So keep an eye out for that,characters.
Dragonflight content is now thenew default leveling experience
for those levels 1 to 10.
It was bfa, which is reallyweird.
I would have thought it'd beshadowlands, but you know, it is
what it is.
Guilds are now able to invitecharacters on different realms,

(20:01):
so cross-realm guild bankfunctionalities will become
available in the next update.
New human racial no place likehome.
Your Hearthstone cooldown isreduced by five minutes and
gains an additional charge.
Diplomacy has been removed.
Sadly, again a feature ofclassic World of Warcraft that
is gone 20 years of that racialgone.

The character restorationservice is temporary unavailable
.
The paid character transferservice has been disabled for
transfers between battlenetaccounts.
The level 60 boost now providesitem level 327.
Here was at 180 gear.
Oh my god, that is some lowitem level gear.

Uh, for classes there is a lotof changes.
I will not have time to gothrough that.
This would take me about threehours to just read.
Okay, so I can't do that, I'mafraid.
But it's all on Wellhead.
If you want to check the classchanges and there are a load of

like nerfs and buffs and stuffJust type in like 11.0 in
Wellhead search bar and it willcome up For professions.
So the new ability, which isconcentration, concentration, is
a resource that you have aseparate pool of per crafting
profession.
It represents your ability toheavily focus on your recipes

and exceed your normalcapabilities.
You choose when you want toconcentrate, using a button
within the crafting windowpowering your next crafts.
Doing so will cause the craftto automatically reach the next
level.

Very good, this is for peoplewho don't want to do working
orders and essentially wanttheir gear themselves and are

just a little bit behind.
Very simple, a new stat iningenuity.
You have a chance to have aningenious breakthrough when you

So screen now displays up tofour characters of your warband
at once and you can move themand reorder them however you
like via the list panel.

easily find your characters.
This is for those who haveabout 200 characters on one
realm.
Artwork updated and clarityimprovements have been made to

So you have meta quests,repeatable quests, campaign
trivial quests.
Updates to many world quest mapicons including rares, rares,
elite.

Okay, I'm not too sure aboutthe name super tracking, it just
sounds weird.
Um, a map legend has been addedto the main map next to the pin
and filter options.

On world map.
Zooming in on hub icons willallow you to see available
quests in the area in moredetail.
Checkbox for tracking have beenadded to the quest log for
easier management.
Areas of the quest log interfacehave been updated with new
artwork.
We love new artwork.
I think new artwork's very nice.

It gives a very good visualfeel.
Areas of the quest log oh, no,sorry.
The quest to bang visual orquests that are in progress has
been updated.
The visual for meta quests havebeen updated.
Flight map icons have beenupdated and flight master icon
um has been updated.
A lot of things have beenupdated.
A lot of icons within world ofwarcraft.

You'll look at it and be likewhat the hell is this?
It would just be a simple dailyquest, but it has changed.
It all has changed to makethings a bit more.
Oh okay, this is the story.
This is a daily quest.
This is like a rarely you knowthat sort of thing.
It's a lot easier to see.
Um, there's new options.
Now.
New options are obviously goingto be a bit, um, tougher to

find.
So option to replace spiderswith alternate creatures.
This doesn't affect gameplay ordifficulty.
It is under the accessibilitygeneral arachnophobia mode.
If you do not like spidersgoing into the war within, you
will want to enable ararachnophobia mode so that you
are more easily going to playthe game without fearing for

(25:07):
your life or having any sort ofdread going into certain zones.
Icon can be used to mark yourplayer character for visibility
Options under accessibilityGeneral self-highlight very
simple.
Just puts a sort of mark aroundyour player.

Um.
Highlight your character'ssilhouette when blocked by
objects in game.
Options under gameplay combatshow silhouette when obscured
very simple.
The group manager has beenupdated with new art and
improved features, includingadditional options to restrict
groupings.
Easier access to both world andunit raid markers.

Ui panel reorganized to relateoptions altogether in sections.
Added instant optionspreviously only found in
character portrait.

Drop down anything that isshared across all characters.
Uh will now say warband ratherthan account, which is pretty

A lot of these have been changed.
A lot of the ui functionalitieshave been updated, changed.
So please do log in, even ifit's just to get a good look and
understanding of what haschanged and what you need to be
looking for going into the nextexpansion, because it's all
going to look weird.

It's all going to look a littlebit overwhelming when you first
log in.
Take this month to get used toit.
Okay, because there is a lot ofui changes base changes that a
lot of people would have beenplaying with for 20 years.
Okay, and it would have been agradual like change.
But they have changed a lot ofui in this patch, so please get

used to it.
But it's really good, it reallyreally is.
Do not shit on it, if possible.
If you don't like it, that isfair enough, but give it a try
because they are trying to makeit a bit more accessible to.
Oh, okay, I should be doingthese quests as a newer player.
