El pueblo ha crecido, la historia avanza… pero el corazón del hombre sigue siendo el mismo.

Una y otra vez, Israel experimenta la fidelidad de Dios y, al mismo tiempo, su propia fragilidad.
Dios levanta jueces, reyes y profetas. Algunos guían con sabiduría, otros se corrompen, y el pueblo vuelve a caer.
A lo largo de esta historia, se hace evidente el gran problema del ser humano: el pecado. Una separación tan profunda que ninguna ley, sacrificio ni esfuerzo humano puede reparar.
El hombre no puede salvarse a sí mismo. Necesita un Salvador.
Y sin embargo, en medio del caos, Dios permanece fiel.
Sigue escogiendo personas comunes, no por su fuerza ni sus obras, sino por su gracia.
Salva a quienes temen su nombre, a quienes reconocen su necesidad y confían en su misericordia.
Porque en toda esta historia, lo que más brilla no es la obediencia del hombre, sino el amor constante de Dios.
A través de los profetas, Dios llama a su pueblo, advierte, consuela y promete. Les recuerda que su historia no ha terminado. Que un día llegará alguien que traerá perdón, justicia y restauración; un Rey diferente, anunciado desde antiguo, que cambiará la historia y bendecirá a todas las naciones.
El Antiguo Testamento termina en suspenso. El pueblo espera. Las promesas siguen abiertas.
Y en medio del silencio, todo apunta hacia un cumplimiento que está por revelarse.
Tal vez las páginas antiguas no solo hablan del pasado… sino del amor de un Dios fiel que sigue llamando, prometiendo y salvando por gracia.
