The "Gig Economy" is growing every year, with ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft representing a large segment. If you drive for one of these services, you want to utilize every advantage to maximize your earnings in a crowded (or not crowded, for that matter) market. On this episode, I drive for both Uber and Lyft while testing two third-party "Hotspot" apps. These apps claim to inform drivers where to go in order to enjoy the most business. Do they work?
