I can admit that in my vast inventory of episodes, maybe a handful could be considered truly inspiring. (Well unless, you want to be inspired to be a better podcaster than me, then, it's a low bar. But I digress...) This interview falls into that category of the select few. Imagine yourself in Mark's place, covering a concert which devolves into a horrific mass shooting. Would you have it in you to write a book about it, much less, a book about the power of community and healing? Mark was fortunate to have lived through this uninjured, but he spent his time afterward interviewing people whose lives were forever changed.
