Podcast vznikl jako jeden z výstupů výzkumného úkolu 02-S4-2023-VUBP Vliv cirkulární ekonomiky na pracovní prostředí s ohledem na BOZP, jehož zadavatelem je Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí ČR a řešení se ujal Výzkumný ústav bezpečnosti práce, v. v. i.
Cílem výzkumného úkolu je analýza potenciálních dopadů cirkulární ekonomiky a jejích principů (opětovné využití, recyklace, ekologický design atd.) na pracovní prostředí a podmínky z hlediska bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci se zaměřením na současné systémy řízení BOZP a jejich připravenost na řešení specifických rizik souvisejících s cirkulární ekonomikou.
Obecně by tento výzkum měl přispět k tomu, aby přechod na cirkulární hospodářství nepředstavoval rizika pro bezpečnost a zdraví pracovníků, ale naopak vytvořil příležitosti pro lepší pracovní podmínky v udržitelném prostředí.
