Hey there, sunshine, welcomeback.
We are so glad to have youjoining us today and if you're
new, this is the perfect time tojoin in, because you have got
to hear this.
Jared and I were just havingthis conversation about him
talking with his patients, andhe's noticed something that he
hears over and over again fromthem that can be a hang-up for
(01:29):
you in your life.
We know because we've beenthere before.
We've been in the exact sameplace, but he's had this
revelation of how this issomething that is holding many
people back in your health andyou don't even realize it.
So I wanted him to share withyou today what a patient said to
him and how he then noticed themajority of his patients are
(01:49):
saying this.
He hears it day after day.
Jarrod (01:53):
So Anita and I were just
sitting here listening to
scripture, talking about justhealth and how God wants us to
live a vibrant life, and Istarted talking to her about a
patient that I saw yesterday, guy 38 years old, and he
mentions in the visit that wehave that I'm just old, I'm just
going to hurt.
He had some aches and painsaround his body, but he said I'm
(02:14):
old and I just laughed at him.
I said you're 38 years old, I'm53.
I don't have aches and painsall over my body.
Aging is not a disease and I'mseeing that more and more with
people that are variousdifferent ages typically not at
20, but getting into the 30swhere they just resign
themselves to the fact that I'mjust getting old.
(02:35):
This is just how it is and Itell them again aging is not a
disease.
What's the problem is thethings that we're doing that
cause the aches and the painsand the disease, and we see so
many diseases that are quoteunquote chronic, but they're
only chronic because we keepdoing the things that make this
problem happen.
We don't stop it.
(02:56):
We still eat the way that weeat and still engage in the
lifestyle stuff that we do thatkeeps us sick, that keeps it
going.
Anita (03:05):
And when those sicknesses
and symptoms come, then we come
into alignment with it in ourbeliefs by saying oh well, it's
just my genes, oh well, it'sjust my aging.
And so we start to believe thataging is a disease.
Well, this is just what happens.
When you get old, you get highblood pressure.
When you get old, you get highcholesterol.
As you get older, have you everhad those thoughts go through
your mind?
Oh, I'm just getting older.
Jarrod (03:25):
I mean, I just have high
blood pressure.
Anita (03:27):
Yeah, or I ache in the
mornings when I get up.
That's just normal.
That's just what happens whenyou get older.
I just don't have the energy Iused to have, like when I was
young, because I'm older.
Jarrod (03:34):
And we were there.
We know exactly what it's like.
We experienced that when we myshoulders, my hips, nothing
aches.
When I get up, no me either.
Anita (03:45):
I have no aches and pains
, I don't have the low energy I
used to have either.
My energy was that and I justthought, okay, this just happens
.
You know, people in my familydealt with these things.
They dealt with low energy, they dealt with autoimmune
diseases.
They went through these crazydiagnosis and you start
believing you're going to havethose things too.
Just because you're theirfamily there, you've got their
(04:06):
genes, and so then the doctortells you it's the genetic kind.
And all of a sudden you bringyour thoughts and life into
agreement with the fact that youhave the genetic kind and you
start thinking I have thegenetic kind.
And then you start saying Ihave the genetic kind.
And then you start living likeyou have the genetic kind and
looking up all the things thatthe genetic kind will bring to
you and all of a sudden you findit thriving in your life and we
wonder why.
(04:26):
And it's like we don't stopdoing those things that were
being done by our family membersthat could have brought those
things into being, thoselifestyle things that need to be
changed.
But we also are bringingourselves into agreement and
alignment with our enemy, whocomes to steal, kill and destroy
from us by bringing ourthoughts into alignment with the
fact that, oh well, it's justbecause you're getting older.
(04:47):
You're just getting older, you're just getting older, so
you're sick.
So we're bringing our thoughtsinto alignment with what the
enemy wants for us, which is forus to be stolen from, killed
and destroyed.
And God says I came to bringyou life, and not only bring you
life here and now, and that'snot just spiritual life.
He also wants to bring ourbodies back to life.
He does not want us to livesick.
(05:08):
Did Yeshua live sick?
Did he ever walk up to somebodyand say you know what?
I'm going to leave you sickbecause you're going to learn
something from this sickness.
Okay, so just start wrappingyour mind around and looking at
what would Yeshua do?
I mean, that was a big thingyears ago.
Wwjd, as a believer.
We're speaking to you asbelievers, like get into the
word and start getting youridentity from him.
(05:30):
As he is, so are you in thisworld.
That's what the Bible says.
We have to start wrapping ourmind around the truth and stop
aligning our thoughts and ourwords with the enemy.
Read the word, get into it,have a growing and active
relationship with him.
No-transcript and the old waysof doing things that your
(05:54):
genetic members of your familyused to do, like eating the
things that we know causedisease, that we know are cancer
causers, and not eating enoughof the five power foods.
Change the way you're doingthings and you're going to see
things in your body change.
We see it happen time and again.
This is why we continually seeour clients reverse high blood
pressure.
It comes back to normal.
(06:15):
Oh, but that just happens withage.
Then why is it we see theirblood pressure come back to
normal on the regular and theycome off of their medications.
Why do we see the same thingwith high cholesterol coming
down when you stop eating thethings that are causing it to be
high, when you stop eating thethings that are causing vessel
damage?
Jarrod (06:34):
And what we see is in
societies that are plant based,
as they get older, their bloodpressure actually goes down.
Now it reaches a balance pointto where it kind of plateaus,
but we don't see them getelevated and they're getting
older.
So aging is not a disease, it'sa process.
Of course, the longer you live, obviously you are getting older
.
Anita (06:53):
It's just what happens
but it's not a disease.
No, but we think about it aslosing health.
We think as you age, you'regoing to not feel as good,
you're not going to have highenergy like you used to, you're
not going to be able to run andplay like you used to and do all
the things you want to do.
You won't be able to go likeyou used to do, and these things
are just not true.
And so we live into that, intowhat we believe.
Jarrod (07:23):
And into that, into what
we believe, and that's how we
align ourselves with it.
Yeah, you don't necessarily onpurpose do that, but you do if
you buy into the mindset of, oh,this is just how it is, and
then the danger there is thatyou then never do anything to
overcome that, because you feellike there's nothing you can do.
Right.
Anita (07:31):
I mean, if aging just
brings about these things, then
what could you possibly do thatwould reverse it?
Not just halt it, but actuallyreverse it?
Jarrod (07:41):
Because obviously you
can't stop aging.
You can't.
You're still going to be aliveas you're living.
Anita (07:48):
Right.
So you're gaining years.
That's what aging is.
You're gaining years andhopefully, with that aging,
you're gaining wisdom andgetting set free from some of
these things that have kept usstuck and miserable.
We don't want you stuck andmiserable anymore.
That's why we come and sharethese things.
That's why we wrote the course, that's why the cookbook is
there, so you can get all thoserecipes and figure out how do I
(08:10):
make this stick in the waythat's enjoyable and you can
actually see.
Hey, these dishes still tastegreat.
It's not that I can't have them, I'm just going to have them in
the way that was originallydesigned for my body to eat, and
it still tastes amazing and Ilove it.
And now, all of a sudden, allthose aging things that were
just quote normal because youhad quote the genetic kind start
(08:31):
going away.
Are you kidding me?
So clearly I had believed a lieand that lie is carefully
crafted by your enemy.
It's not your fault that youbelieve this stuff, except for
the fact that you've allowed itin and not been filling your
life with truth.
Jarrod (08:44):
And now you can change
the trajectory of your life by
knowing the truth.
Anita (08:49):
Because it is knowing the
truth that sets us free and
that can be found in God's word.
And then we find science.
Back it up, I mean over andover again.
So it's like Jer was saying.
There are multiple studieswhere they've looked at the blue
zones, the areas where peoplelive the longest.
They don't get high bloodpressure as they age.
They don't get heart disease,Like there are no cases of it,
(09:13):
it's just like it's non-existent.
Why is that?
It's because they're livingdifferently and they don't
believe that as you age you getall these things.
Start looking in the Word atwhat it says is normal for aging
.
Look at Psalm 91.
Look at Psalm 92.
Look at Psalm 103.
Start reading those andbelieving what it says about you
(09:35):
as you age.
What should it look like as youage?
Read just those three chapters.
It's all over the word.
It's all over it.
Jarrod (09:43):
And something I want to
highlight too, is that some of
these disease processes, we usedto think of them as being old
people diseases, but now, as ourchildren are starting to eat
worse and worse foods because Ithink there was a period of time
where adults ate certain things, like they might eat fast foods
, but give their children betterfoods- but, now, as children
are eating McDonald's from theage of two, we're seeing
(10:06):
diabetes in children.
I even remember back I don'tknow 15 years ago, maybe a
little bit longer there was a12-year-old who had diabetes
Type 2.
Type 2 diabetes and his bloodsugar was through the roof and
he was 12.
And he weighed 220 pounds.
I mean, I'm 6'1", I'm 53, Iweigh about 190.
So this is a 12-year-oldweighing 220 pounds with
(10:26):
diabetes.
So really I wanted to use thisas an illustration of these are
not aging problems, becausewe're seeing a lot of these
things even in very youngchildren.
So that was not an age thing.
No, 12-year-old children shouldnot have aches and pains and
autoimmune diseases and diabetes, type 2 diabetes.
Anita (10:45):
And here's the wake-up
call Neither should a
50-year-old or a 60-year-old ora 70-year-old or an 80-year-old
or a 90-year-old.
I mean, this is the truth ofthe matter.
Because you take the people inthose countries where they do
not eat the standard Americandiet they eat majority whole
plant foods.
They're eating whole plantfoods.
But when you take those samepeople with the same genetics
(11:07):
and you move them to an area andthey did this in the studies
where they now are eating thestandard American diet and they
take that on, all of a suddenthey do have high blood pressure
.
Jarrod (11:17):
Within that generation.
Yes, they do have highcholesterol.
Anita (11:20):
They do have heart
attacks and strokes.
Jarrod (11:22):
And autoimmune diseases.
Anita (11:24):
So wrap your mind around
it and think about where have
you put your thoughts and yourwords and your actions into
alignment with what the enemywants for you to make you think
that aging is a disease.
Aging is not a disease, andthis is wonderful news.
Jarrod (11:43):
Because the danger of
this is that you will just stay
exactly where you are, neverrealizing the truth of who you
were meant to be in the life youwere called to live.
Anita (11:52):
And the fact that you
never have to have this stuff,
you can be free, you can berunning, playing with your
grandkids, full of life, full ofenergy, not having to struggle
with all the diseases and allthe things.
Oh, we just get sick.
It's just what happens.
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
And if you say that and if youbelieve that it probably is
going to become your reality andI'm not saying you're speaking
(12:13):
things into existence, but whatyou think on and what you, it's
what you believe, and what youbelieve is what you say and do
it's just what happens.
That's why Paul is alwaystalking about guard your
thoughts, think on these things.
We is always talking aboutguard your thoughts, think on
these things.
We're thinking on the wrongthings.
We're aligning our thoughtswith the world.
We're giving our time and whatwe do over to the world.
We're scrolling too much, we'rewatching too much TV, we're
(12:38):
listening to too much news newsright, and these things are
twisted and they're not true.
So we need to get our thoughtsinto alignment with his thoughts
, our ways into alignment withhis ways, and stop speaking
death over ourselves and stopbelieving the things that aren't
true and get into the word andsay.
What does the word say aboutaging?
What does God say it shouldlook like?
How did Yeshua live?
(12:59):
How did Jesus live?
What was he doing?
I mean, again, we had a wholething around this years ago in
the church.
What would Jesus do Not?
What would he do?
What did he do?
That's what it should have beenW-D-J-D or W-D-Y-D.
What did Yeshua do?
Look at what he did, because hewas the living example and stop
identifying with the aging,sick person.
(13:21):
You are alive in Christ and hehas abundance for you and he's
showing you and teaching you allthese things about the foods
that bring healing.
He put natural healing intothese foods.
It's not Mother Nature that putit there.
He put it there for you fromthe very beginning because these
are the best foods to fuel yourbody.
And Jared and I see time andagain that when people get their
(13:44):
thoughts right and understand, hey, there is something I can do
about this.
Hey, aging really is not adisease process.
It's just adding years andhopefully again adding wisdom to
my life, drawing closer to God.
And then we see, as we do thesethings, we break free from the
diseases that we thought werenormal, because it just is what
happens when you get old.
(14:04):
Ask yourself am I thinkingthese things?
Do I think that aging is adisease?
Do I say to myself, well, I'mjust getting old?
This is just what happens whenyou get older.
If you do, you've alignedyourself with a lie and it's
time to be set free, because nowyou know aging is not a disease
, it's just the adding of years.
(14:26):
And look again in those Psalmsand then look all over the word
and how Yeshua viewed aging.
And then look through the wordat how Yeshua viewed life and he
wants you to have it abundantly.
So grasp a hold of the truthand start saying the things to
yourself about aging in yourthoughts.
Get them right in your thoughts.
Read the scriptures Again Psalm91, psalm 92, psalm 103,.
(14:49):
Read those scriptures and lookat and highlight what they say
about aging and Psalm 103, whenhe says bless the Lord, o my
soul, and don't forget hisbenefits.
That Hebrew word for forget donot forget his benefits doesn't
mean don't just forget about thebenefits.
It means know the benefits, don't be ignorant of them and
don't forget them.
(15:09):
And a lot of times we'reignorant of and we don't
understand what the benefits are.
And we've got to start graspingthe benefits, and the only way
to do that is get into the word, change the way we think, change
what we're speaking and thenstart changing what we're doing.
All the answers you need are inthe book.
They're in the book and they'rein him, because he is
everything and he is all youneed.
(15:30):
