Dave is author of The Way of the Wall Street Warrior: Conquer the Corporate Game Using Tips, Tricks, and Smartcuts. He’s a 30-Year Veteran of Wall Street and Silicon Valley and entrepreneur who has started multiple companies, advisor who has raised over $15 billion, and investor in multiple billion dollar “unicorns.” Dave started his investment banking career at Goldman Sachs and then joined the fledgling investment bank, Jefferies, when it had less than 200 employees. Today, Jefferies is a multi-billion-dollar public company and one of the world’s leading investment banks.
Dave has completed deals for hundreds of clients including IBM, Google, Microsoft, Sony, Yahoo!, and Yelp. Dave completed the Management & Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science in Systems Science and Engineering (concentrations in Manufacturing and Robotics), and a Bachelor of Science in Economics (concentration in Finance) from the Wharton School. Dave also attended Harvard Business School where he received his Master's in Business Administration.
Dave was born with a severe case of a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He underwent almost a dozen surgeries throughout his childhood which left numerous scars on his face. He overcame hearing and speech impediments common to cleft children and has dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged communities. Net proceeds from this book will go towards charities such as Smile Train, which provides surgeries to children born with clefts, Asian Americans, and other disadvantaged groups.
