A tech genius takes on a 30-day challenge to meet new people, finding an unexpected connection at a neighborhood coffee shop. 

 

The short film "The Coffee Shop," a production of Memphis Movie Production and directed by Christie B. Taylor, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, May 4th, from 4:15pm to 7pm CDT at Malco Cordova Cinema in Memphis, Tennessee. The film is a product of the Memphis Movie Production Apprentice Program and celebrates local filmmaking talent. The premiere event will include a pre-screening party, a special media event, and complimentary refreshments. The film is described as a "heartwarming story" about a tech genius who finds an unexpected connection while taking on a challenge to meet new people. The event is hosted by On Location:MEMPHIS, a 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on teaching entertainment through real-life application.
